Chapter 7 - Aphmau
Song has nothing to do with the chapter it just inspired me the most.

I waited for his answer, I heard him sigh which I think meant that he was. Sure he did look like him, but that doesn't mean he is him. I just hope my theory was right and that he ran away because he didn't want to be forced into a marriage either.
"Promise me you won't tell anyone?" Garroth questioned, making me smile.
"I promise."
"Well, you'll have to wait," Garroth smirked. "I don't know you well enough to tell you if my personal life. For all you know I could just be some blonde, blues eyes guard who just so happens to look like the lord of O'khasis' son."
"You know you just made me actually think you are him," I laughed. "But I won't tell anyone if you don't tell anyone I'm supposed to marry Zane."
"What is he now, the High Priest or something, he was still far away in the lord's footprints for me to actually tell," Garroth sighed.
"So you do admit to being there once in your life," I said, I guess that's a clue. "And yes he's actually the High Priest."
"You should get some sleep, good night Aphmau," Garroth chuckled, getting up from the bed. Heading towards the door he slowly shut it, leaving me alone in his room.
"Night Helmet Head," I mumbled.
I laid down, I don't remember going to his room. I remember falling asleep at his doorstep while I was waiting for him, did he bring me here? I stared at the ceiling, Garroth was being so nice to me. There was no way that he was related to Lord Garte or Zane. But why was he being so nice to me, he just met me. It just doesn't make sense, I know people can be kind but he could've just let me sleep in the forest like I would've if I was somewhere else. Others probably would've let me too. Why didn't he?
I stayed awake all night, the sun now coming up. Sighing, I wouldn't be able to do as much today either. I really need to start going to sleep and not staying up all night. It was just bugging me so much, sure I know Garroth probably doesn't trust me enough to tell me but he gave me a hint that he was in O'khasis when Zane wasn't even a High Priest. He could've just left me in the dark, wait he was the one who asked about Zane. Maybe he wants me to put together the pieces.
I pushed off the covers of the bed, finally getting out of the bed. I might as well head downstairs. I just hope I won't fall down the stairs, I managed to make a fool of myself in O'khasis because of that.
I walked into the kitchen, where I was hoping to find Garroth. I didn't though, maybe he's out patrolling? I entered the room next to it, they laid Garroth. His helmet on the table next to the couch, wait was this the living room? I heard soft snores, wait was he sleeping?
"Helmet Head?" I asked quietly, trying not to wake him if he was asleep. He didn't move so he's either dead or asleep, hopefully he's just asleep. I don't want it to look like I murdered him.
I sat down on the chair next to the couch. He kind of looked...cute. Wait! I shouldn't be thinking like that I just met him, well kind of. I met him three days ago.
"Aphmau?" Garroth's sleepy voice asked, making me jump a little. "We're you watching me sleep or something?"
"N-no!" I defended, standing from the chair. "I just didn't know where you were till now and I couldn't decide on how to wake you. By pouring cold water on you or by kissing you." Both were jokes of course.
"Wh-what!" Garroth screamed as he slightly blushed, which I could actually see since his helmet wasn't on. He looked even cuter like that, gah! Stop thinking like that!
"I was joking," I laughed, making him nervously laugh as well.
It went quiet.
"Wait," Garroth mumbled. Getting closer to me, making me a bit uncomfortable.
