Crimson's Story

Time and Place- Before the making of Nightmare Demon's and somewhere unknown original home of Crimons.

Age- 10

"Mom, why can't I control it?" I asked my mother as I cried my hands holding the dark energy that was my magic.

A magic, that hasn't been seen in the Silverbloods in years.

"It's okay, just, breath dear. Calm your self. If you Panic, it'll go wild." Mom said as she gave me her wife known smile. Her red hair in curls down her back as she kneeled in front of me. Her silver eyes trained in me.

I frowned. "I'm scared..." I said softly, slowly letting my hands open to let the inky darkness spill off.

"It's okay, I'm right here baby, just breath." Her voice carried over me and I relaxed and went with her instructions.

I breathed deeply, and relaxed letting my magic do whatever it did best.

"There you go!!" My mother cheered.

I opened my eyes surprised and looked to my hands and smiled brightly, a flower, made of pure black was there, it looked like a rose, it was very detailed and it reminded me of my mother somehow.

"I did it..." I said excitedly. "I did it!!" I told my mother as I looked up at her in our study room, where we were.

She smiled at me. "Good job. We can show your father when he gets here, yeah?" She said as she motioned for us to leave.

"Yeah!" I said happily going out first, not seeing my mother's frown.

****

I was playing in my tree house when I heard the car my father usually drove to get here down the road.

I smiled and jumped down, I wanted to show him my new trick with my magic. The one with the Rose. It was the first thing I ever got right with my magic.

I ran over and smiled as my father, a tall and thick like a tree man, with black hair and goatee, with striking silver eyes, stepped out of the car. He looked at me and Pat my head once before walking over to my mother who seemed to have a strained smile.

I frowned a but then followed them to dinner, it seemed to be around that time.

We sat stiffly at the table. The only sounds the clinking of tablewear.

"Crimson dear, why don't you show your father the new trick you did?" My mom said as she gave me a supportive smile.

Smiling I set my fork down. Then showed my hands, a rose appearing again, I was to busy focused on the rose to see my father frown.

"Stop." My father said in his deep rumbling voice.

The Rose spiked and faded away like my fear. "Why?" I asked softly.

"Micheal...." My mother said in a scowling tone.

"Vanessa...." My father said back bitterly. Then turned to me with a glare. "Your leaving tomorrow, to train that magic of yours." He said bitterly.

"B-But..." I started upset.

"Go. Go pack." My mom said softly while not looking at me.

I gritted my teeth and ran off to my room.

I always knew they feared me. Why wouldnt they?

They're light wizards after all.

Time and Place- Before the Guild, Mountains of Ziber

Age- 14

I growled low and deep from my chest as I eyed my teacher for the past 4 years. I hated him and he hates me.

I was trying to escape again, I hated it here. And I hated my parents for leaving me here and never showing they remembered me.

I hated everything!

My power, my magic raged through my body like energy on a full moon. My wolf form growled again as my so called teacher stepped to me with a leash. I snapped at him and bit his forearm making him cry out in pain, before running into the woods hoping to never see him  again, hoping for a better life then abuse and hate cause of my Dark magic.

Magic that scared them for some reason unknown to me.

I huffed as I got to the lake then quickly shifted back to human grabbed my backpack and ran some more. Try to get as much distance as I can.

Time and Place- Before the Guild, Snow Hotel and Inn

Age- 15

I stared out at the throng of people, my hood on covering my face from the drunk men that would try something if it weren't.

I looked around discreetly, eating my meal when I notice the waitress who served me to be serving another table of men. The men touching her in ways that must be uncomfortable to her. Especially since they're pulling the tail of the hybrid waitress.

At first I was going to ignore it, thinking she may just like the attention cause she didn't move, but then noticed the chains on her ankles and the bar tender keeping a close watch on her with a worried glance. He too had ears and a tail.

They then took it too far by putting the awkward girl in their lap and sliding her already short skirt up higher.

She tried to leave but they wouldn't let her. And no one was doing anything about it.

Was it cause they were slaves?

But still....it wasn't right so I had to do something.

"Hey...." I said as I stood in front of the table now, hood down, showing my golden eyes flickering red. "Didn't your mother's teach you manners?" I asked the group of older then me, men.

"Get out of her lassy. We're just having a bit of fun with the half-breed, the owners of her don't mind, now do they girl?" The man holding the frightened waitress said holding her tighter to him, and I particularly didn't like that.

The neko grimaced but hid it from the men. "No, they don't mind." She said softly her eyes closed as the man's hand crawled to her inner thigh.

I heard a faint growl and saw the bartender glaring over, but couldn't really move, by the chain on his ankle. Sighing, I decided to do something stupid.

"Well how bout you let her go, or I'll smash your head into the table, yeah?" I said, taking off my cloak, so I could fight better, my dark magic already swirling between my fingers.

"Bring it on prissy." Said another man at the table as they all stood up, the neko girl being pushed to the bar tender.

She looked even more worried now. But for me.

Haven't seen that for awhile.

The emotion that is, directed at me.

I dodged a man's fist before punching said guys stomach making him flop over and pass out, as my lunch had a little dark power kick to it. I smiled with dull eyes at the other three men, putting my right hand up, body side ways to them, then I did a 'come here' motion with my finger, black smoke coming off it as a sign of their death warrant.

They now seemed a bit wary as they eyed me and my easy to fight in clothes.

Sadly, they didn't want to fight no more, so they quickly grabbed their friend, and left the building.

"Pft." I let out of my mouth as I glared the way they left. Till I turned my gaze to the wide eyed slaves. Then to the wide eyed crowd. I looked away, pulling my cloak out and wrapping it  around me to leave the hotel.

Before I could do so, I was stopped by a tug on my cloak, I looked down about a head and saw the blue haired neko, looking at me with a smile.

"Yes?" I said somewhat coldly, I couldn't help it though.

"Thank you." She said simply, before walking off, in a shuffle, her chains irking me.

Reminding me...

That I wasn't the only one who had been trapped in hell holes.

****

I snuck quickly to a shed, where it housed the two slaves from before. I had learned through the means of Street rats.

I picked the lock to be met with a cute sight. The inu half-breed was curled protectively around the small neko, as they had no blanket or warmth from the old and windy shed. They're warmth each other.

There was another thing that caught my eye, it was the little plants in pots all around the room, they were all vibrant and alive.

But back to the reason I'm here.

I'm jail breaking these guys.

"Hey...." I whispered softly as I shook the larger one.

The Inu groaned and turned to me with blurry eyes. "Hmm?" His voice rumbled out.

"Come on, you want to be free and on the run with me, or not?" I asked a smirk growing on my lips.

The male seemed to blink before smiling, then frowning. "What about our chains?" He asked sitting up to show his bare feet, shackles of iron tight on his ankles. So were the ones on the still sleeping neko.

"I'll deal with them, how's she?" I asked as I saw some wrapping gauze under her tank top.

"Punishment. For not entertaining the men you kicked the ass of." The male said as he looked at the neko in a anger not directed at her.

"Hmmm." I said feeling a slight anger myself. I quickly got them free of their chains and such and the neko finally woke after the Inu had started to gather the small possessions they had.

"Amorden?" The neko asked rubbing her eyes cutely. A yawn escaping her.

She soon sat up, looking around until she spotted me at the doorway of their shed. Which was wife open. She looked confused now, until it turned to shock when, Amorden, as I know knew picked her up carefully, now ready to go.

"Come on...I think someone's taken notice." I told the pair looking out to see lights in the kitchens close by.

"Let's go then." Amorden said waiting for me.

I smirked at him. "Let's go then." I said and went off running towards the woods on the opposite of the kitchens.

****

"So what are your names exactly again?" I asked as we were in a clearing, testing from the whole night of walking and running we did to get ahead before anyone could really know what happened.

The Inu went first. "I'm Amorden Lucian, I'm a wolf, dog shifter, slash part wolf, as you can see with the ears." He said with a big grin. His eyes twinkling bluer then I thought they were, his black hair was a bit messy but that was okay, it matched his ear and tail. He was taller then me by alot. He was near 7ft at least, while I was 5'6 something. Haven't really checked.

The female of the pair smiled at me with that motherly smile on that made me feel...yay. "I'm Nekomayamee Kazukee. Though you can call me Neko. Ironic cause Im a neko. What's yours?" She asked her voice soft and tired.

She was tiny compared to me and Amorden. She was at least 2ft below the guy and a head smaller then me and I found it absolutely adorable.

"Crimson...Crimson Silverblade." I said softly back, a smile coming to my face in what felt like years.

Time and Place- Year before Guild, city of Apricot

Age- 15

We, and when I mean we. I mean me Amorden and Neko were strolling through the Town of Apricot, bored, and hungry.

I found out that Amorden was also a dark make magic user, and I was helping him learn how to better control it, he could also shift into any dog form, including a wolf, so sometimes we'd run and play with each other.

Neko joined, as she could shift into any cat, or feline form. But her magic was Nature make and Nature Dragon Slayer, which was pretty awesome, but she would get sick easily afterwards, we've been slowly trying to figure out exactly why that occurs.

We have some idea though, but mostly Neko does.

Anyway, back to Apricot, we were slowly making our way to a diner to eat. With the money that Neko earned as, no one wanted a badass, cold and mean person like me as a worker, or a tall intimidating Amorden.

So Neko, being the smallest, kindest, shyest, and cutest.... Was our worker sadly.

Before we could enter though we heard the sounds of a fight and us being curious looked into an alley to see a bunch of kids picking on a another kid, more like beating the shit out of them.

"Hey!" Neko yelled running over looking angry.

I learned the hard way to never get her angry...it's scary...

The kids looked up and quickly ran off leaving an injured kid behind.

"Hey, hey....shhh, your okay now. Your okay? Right?" Neko asked softly as she knelt down to check the orange haired kid over.

The kid snuggled and sat up, showing us a cute, feminine yet male face. But their nose was bleeding and a cut was above their eyesbrow, and a bruise to one of their cheekbones.

"What were they beating you up for?" Amorden said softly as he to knelt down to the emotionless kid.

"Cause they wanted to." Was the simple answer.

Neko frowned, matching her over protective brother figure. "Come here, let's get you fed, but first cleaned up." Neko says helping the kid up.

"What your name kid?" I finally asked, getting annoyed at not knowing if they were male or female, hoping their name might help.

The kid looked at me and blinked there bright blues at me. "Alex Windbreaker. I'm gender neutral." She said her voice flat.

"Oh...." Was all I said as we walked into the diner.

****

A couple weeks after finding Alex, who was warming up to our odd group, did Neko jump up from the bed she and Amorden slept together on, as I didn't want to share with a male, even if I knew him well, she seemed super excited.

"Guild!" She yelled in our hotel room.

"Guild?" Alex repeated with an eyebrow raised. She was slowly learning how to express herself.

Even though they, Alex, is gender neutral, we like calling her a she around us four, we find it easier, this way we can just say she went out or something, and not they, it kinda confused Amorden if we don't.

"Neko, we already tried many guilds, they were either dark guilds, that we didn't figure out till we got there, or guilds who weren't to our tastes." I said sighing as I go back to reading a book, yawning, as it was the afternoon.

Neko rolled her eyes and looked at all of us at the table, eating our late breakfast, slash lunch. She just having woken up with the shout after all. "No, not join a guild, make our own!" She said excitedly as she got out from under the blankets and rushing over to us.

Amorden got excited. "Wait, we can do that?"

"Nothing says we can't!" Alex said as she too got into it. Though her only indicating factor was her wider eyes.

I thought for a second. I shrugged. "Why not?" I said with a smile.

And that was the day, Nightmare Demon's came about.

A Guild that has become the demons nightmare, even if really it doesn't really look like that.

It was Neko's idea, don't judge.

Time and Place- Guild has been made, year or two after, at Guild Hall

Age- 17

I walked into the Guild, loving Neko's magic, more like thanking it for making their Guild Hall a big tree house.

I saw the Evergreens sleeping on the couch close to the bar where Neko was drinking what was most likely soda, or milk.

I waved at Neko, she waved back happily then went back to talking to Ara, Amorden behind the bar giving a careful eyes to Ara.

Daymen and Red with Maria, playing a card game of sorts.

I walked passed them all tired, it was the middle of the day, and I still haven't taken a nap, but that was cause I was on a quest. It was okay.

Boring, but worth it. The money goes to the Guild anyway. Even if Violets gem work gets us places.

We only use her powers to help when we need it. And that was only once, when Neko almost fainted at making the guild a bit bigger.

I smiled to myself as I got to my room in the dormitories of the Guild, happy to see my bed a red canopy, with black bed sheets. I fell face first, ready to sleep my eyes going to the object on my nightstand.

A pure black rose, with deathly spikes, the Rose twisted and forever stuck like that.

I turned away from it, and closed my eyes, letting the sun sink o to my pale skin as slowly, I fell I to the darkness I control.

Okay, hiii!

To some, you may remember this series, yeah, alots changed. I'm still working on some of the chapters and such, but just a bit of a heads up, until all the characters I made and what not stories are up, will the real story begin.

At the end of every chapter is a bit of a prolugue into the actual begining.

The stories are for people to get to know the characters individually better. Some of the stuff may get very dark or triggering and I will warn you all before that.

Now, as said in the small info and stuff before this, you can join. PM me, and we can discuss it. All you'll be doing really is choosing your photo, magic, rank, personality. Who they're close to in the guild, and where your guild mark will be.

Thanks for reading this long ass chapter and side Author note. I hope you all enjoyed and I'll See you all for Neko's story.

Crimson was originally made by my best friend Serena, I just put some more into it as this book was made almost 3 years ago.

3058 words.
