This is a list of the friends and family of the members of Iridescence. They are listed in alphabetical order. Due to Wattpad's photo limit, a few of the characters will not have photos. This list contains some mild spoilers, but nothing that will ruin the story.

MAGGIE ALDEN

Maggie is Eliza's mother. She is married to Nathaniel. She is a good woman trapped in an unhappy marriage who is constantly fighting with her husband. She loves Eliza but sucks at showing it and usually ignores her because she's too busy arguing with Nathaniel. She is a pediatrician and has been known to yell at her husband that she spends all day dealing with babies and doesn't want to have to deal with one when she goes home at night. (She means him, not Eliza.)

NATHANIEL ALDEN

Nathaniel is Eliza's father. He is married to Maggie. He spends as much time as possible working at the office so he doesn't have to deal with his wife, who he constantly argues with. He ignores Eliza unless she does something to intentionally get his attention.

There is more to Nathaniel than meets the eye.

ABIGAIL "ABBY" BERRY

Abby is Krissy's aunt. She is her father's younger sister, and became Krissy's guardian after the crash that killed her parents when Krissy was eleven. She is a very gifted and creative artist and is still pretty young, so sometimes it's unclear who the adult in the house is supposed to be. Like Krissy, Abby consumes entirely too much caffeine and sugar. She is a genuinely nice woman who loves Krissy and would do anything for her.

She constantly tries to cook and always fails epically, but she refuses to give up trying to make healthy meals for her niece. Even scrambled eggs are too complicated for Abby, and every day she ends up throwing away whatever she attempted to cook and feeding Krissy cereal for breakfast and take-out for dinner. She adores Eliza and has accepted her as part of the family. Eliza comes over for breakfast almost every day and spends many nights crashing with Krissy in her room, so Abby expects her to be around.

Abby is a fun person to be around and is a free spirit. She encourages Krissy to embrace her creative side and never treats her like she's weird or foolish for the things she enjoys. She's always up for watching scary movies with her niece or sculpting strange creatures in her studio, and when she's not painting or creating, she's thinking about painting and creating.

JAKE CALVIN

Jake is Emily's guardian. It's unclear at first if he's alive, dead, or somewhere in-between the two, but he walks the world of the living at the request of Hades to keep an eye on Emily. Jake is very sarcastic and calls Emily annoying nicknames such as "Buttercup" or "Princess" just to get a rise out of her. When he's not being a jerk, he's actually pretty funny.

When Emily first met him, she assumed he was a ghost because he was walking around the cemetery. She was startled when she punched him and connected with his very physical form. He later came to her rescue when she was attacked by an army of dead Greek soldiers. He gave her the weapon she uses in training and is meant to use in battle. She sort of trusts him but she also finds him incredibly annoying.

There is more to Jake than meets the eye, but I won't spoil it here.

JACKSON "JACK" CASEY

Jack is a dancer. He lived in New Rochelle with his mom for most of his life until his deadbeat father convinced her to move them to Queens. Vanessa initially finds him in the dream realm, where Altheos is trying to force him to join his side. She becomes determined to protect him.

There is much more to Jack, but it's a huge spoiler, so I'm not going to get into the rest of his story.

LIANA CHEN

Liana is Faith's roommate at the group home. She runs away frequently. She has lived in the group home since she was six. Her mother abandoned her and doesn't care about her, and her father is in prison. She is a good person, but she's troubled, and she frequently gets into bad situations. She and Faith are very close.

She is very intelligent and has strong survival skills. She could probably survive on the street for a long time, but she usually returns to the group home because she gets caught or she decides she doesn't want to have to fight so hard to get by.

KEVIN CROSS

Kevin is Jenna's boyfriend. He is a football player and is very popular. Together, he and Jenna make up the typical high school power couple. They have been dating since their freshman year of high school.

He is very athletic and takes training almost as seriously as Jenna does. He can occasionally come across as having a one-track mind when it comes to sports. He's a nice guy, and he tries to be there for Jenna, but she has a habit of keeping walls up to put distance between them. He is patient and understands she's an intense person, especially when she's training. He also knows that Lucky comes first in her life.

DEACON EDWARDS

Deacon was Faith's uncle, and Henry's younger brother. When Faith was four, he was in his freshman years of college. He was living with his brother's family while he attended classes. His room was destroyed in the fire, and they never found his body, but he was declared legally dead.

Faith adored her uncle. They were very close, and she used to follow him around as much as she could because she idolized him. He didn't seem to mind having a tiny sidekick, and he doted on her whenever he could. He had a strong sense of humor and a very kind heart.

Deacon's story does not end here, but I won't spoil what is coming.

HENRY EDWARDS

Henry was Faith's father, Latanya's husband, and Deacon's older brother. He was a good man who loved his family very much. He died in a fire when Faith was four.

LATANYA EDWARDS

Latanya is Faith's mother and Henry's wife. After watching Henry die in the fire, Latanya became traumatized and catatonic. Faith had to pull her out of the fire, and the only reason she didn't burn to death was because Faith was holding onto her. The incident left her with severe PTSD and mental health issues.

Although Latanya loves Faith very much and tries to be a good mother, she frequently has mental health episodes that require her to be hospitalized. When she's healthy, she is a great mom, and she and Faith are very close, but far too often, Faith has to take care of her mother and ends up in the group home while her mom recovers.

BETTY JOHNSON

Betty is a ghost who haunts the local cemetery. She is a busy body who likes gossip. She was a nosey old lady in life and death hasn't changed that. She sometimes says offensive things without realizing it, such as basically asking Emily if she's a lesbian (without saying the word) as if it would be the most scandalous thing in the world.

Betty died of natural causes in 1974 at 83 years old. No one visits her, so she wanders the cemetery looking for things to entertain herself. She is very fond of Emily and talks her ear off. Emily finds her annoying, but deep down, she's attached to her. Betty is like her surrogate grandmother.

EVE KANG

Eve was Emily's older sister. She was a senior when Emily was a freshman in high school. She helped raise Emily after their mother died and the two were very close. One day, Eve and her boyfriend Joey went to an abandoned haunted house with several of their friends and Emily. They accidentally summoned a demon and all of them were killed except for Emily. The survivor's guilt still haunts her.

LEO LUKAS

Leo is a very popular boy from the jock clique at the high school. He is on almost as many school teams as Jenna and is skilled in several different types of athletics. He takes an interest in Eliza after seeing her archery skills in gym class. He starts trying to befriend her, which makes Apollo jealous. Leo is very good friends with Jenna, knows Vanessa pretty well, and as he gets to know Eliza, he befriends her and Krissy as well.

Beneath his jock exterior, Leo seems to have a soft side, especially around Eliza.

BELLA "BABY DOLL" PARKER

Baby Doll is seven years old. She has lived at the group home since she was two, and everyone treats her like their baby or their little sister. She is beloved by everyone at the group home, employees and kids alike. She is very sweet and very cute. When she gets scared, she hides under Faith's bed because Faith always makes her feel safe.

Baby Doll seems to have some sort of psychic gifts and is sensitive to the world of the supernatural. It scares her, and she doesn't talk about it, but it's clear she's hiding things as time goes on. When Baby Doll is scared, she turns mute until she feels completely safe again.

MARCO PRESCOTT

Marco was a college student. He was close to Jenna's older brother JJ, and he was also close to Jenna. He was a very nice boy who excelled at football. Krissy discovered his body while training with Poseidon. Unknown to anyone before he died, Marco was a demigod. His mother was Aphrodite. He was killed for power and because he was viewed as a potential threat.

ERIC JOSEPH "RICKY" RAMOS

Ricky is JJ and Jenna's little brother, Miguel's older brother, and the son of Julio and Marisol. He is thirteen. He's very obnoxious at times and is a terror in general. He enjoys picking fights with his siblings. He frequently bullies Miguel, who is the only sibling that's younger than him.

JULIO RAMOS

Julio is the father of JJ, Jenna, Ricky, and Miguel, and the husband of Marisol. He is an extremely dedicated husband and father whose family means everything to him. He's easygoing most of the time and likes to joke around with his kids. Julio is the epitome of a suburban family man. Everyone who meets him likes him. He is a gifted computer programmer. Jenna usually calls him Papi or Pa. The children of the neighborhood all call him Pa and view him as a father figure.

JULIO "JJ" RAMOS JUNIOR

JJ is Jenna, Ricky, and Miguel's older brother and Julio and Marisol's son. He is in his freshman year of college, where he plays football and has not declared a major yet. He is in a fraternity. JJ is a really nice guy who plays the older brother role well, acting as a role model for his younger siblings while still teasing them and having fun with them. He's really good with computers. He is a skilled hacker, although only his closest friends and Jenna know that about him. He "only uses his powers for good," meaning he won't hack maliciously unless it's in defense of someone else.

MIGUEL RAMOS

Miguel is the younger brother of JJ, Jenna, and Ricky, and is Julio and Marisol's son. He is seven and is absolutely adorable. Ricky tends to bully him, but the other members of the family won't stand for it and always stop him. Miguel is very sweet and eager. He is enthusiastic about pretty much everything in life. He enjoys cuddling, reading books, and watching cartoons.

MARISOL RAMOS

Marisol is the mother of JJ, Jenna, Ricky, and Miguel, and the wife of Julio. She is a great mother who tends to feed all the kids in the neighborhood and tells them to call her Ma or Mama Ramos. Jenna usually calls her Mami or Ma. She is beloved by the entire community and loves taking care of them, especially the children.

Although she is very kind, Marisol shows her feisty Latina side when the people she cares about are threatened. She won't stand for anyone mistreating others. She works as a Legal Aid attorney and loves taking on cases where she can defend those who truly need it.

BILLY SCOTT

Billy is a boy Vanessa meets in her dreams that she initially believes she made up and dreamed into existence. He is actually a real boy whose father abuses him and keeps him locked in a basement. Realizing this, Vanessa becomes determined to save him.

Billy has dark magic, but he is a not a bad person. He is severely depressed because of his upbringing, and he doesn't understand why Vanessa decides to befriend him because no one has ever shown him kindness before. He's very shy and skittish, but he will fight to protect Vanessa.

There is more to Billy's story that I will not spoil.

JAYA SINGH

Jaya is Vanessa's mother. She divorced her husband when Vanessa was nine. She embraces and loves Vanessa for exactly who she is and has always been extremely supportive of her, even allowing her to legally change her name when Vanessa admitted she was a girl, not a boy.

For the most part, Jaya raised Vanessa on her own. She is the first to jump up and defend her against transphobic jerks or other people who simply don't understand her daughter. She has always told Vanessa that she can control what happens in her dreams, and if she has a nightmare to just dream herself someplace better.

Although Jaya was raised in the Indian culture, she was born in America, so she's a mix of both cultures and has tried to raise Vanessa to appreciate all sides of her heritage. She is a tough woman when she needs to be and never lets anyone keep her from doing what she needs to do to take care of herself and her daughter.

EUGENIA "GENIE" STEFANOPOULOS

Genie is Faith's roommate at the group home. She was raised by her grandmother and never knew her parents. They were killed when she was a baby. Genie ends up living in the group home after her grandmother passes away.

She is overly eager to please, probably because she's brand new to foster care. She is extremely friendly and upbeat, and she's constantly trying to make others happy. Genie takes a quick liking to Faith and covers for her when she needs to sneak out of the group home at night. Genie gets attached to Baby Doll as well, offering the little girl snuggles and playing with her whenever she seems to want company.

LUCKY THOMAS

Lucky is Jenna's best friend, and has been ever since they met on the playground as toddlers. He follows her around eagerly and calls her by the nickname of "Na." He is fiercely loyal to her, and her family treats him like he's just another one of the Ramos siblings.

He is a theater kid, so he is also friends with Vanessa, who he adores. Lucky is gay and often acts in a manner people would deem to be "flaming." He is proud of who he is and is unapologetically queer, not caring if people have an issue with it.

He is funny, sassy, and spontaneous, and you never know what he'll do next. He can be outrageous, but there's never a dull moment when he's around. He's a major gossip but can keep a secret when it counts. He is the life of the party and is very popular, but he doesn't really care whether or not other people like him as long as his true friends are by his side.

JOEY WASHINGTON

Joey was Eve's boyfriend. Joey was the one who insisted on holding a seance in a haunted building. He ended up summoning a demon and getting everyone killed. Only Emily survived.
