So I am well aware that in this time period it was okay for a girl to marry a full grown man as long as she had her ~period~ but good lord please don't make it weird and write your OC as a 12 ye old marrying Jaime or something.

I just....I don't understand why the person can't be regular aged....I'm just trying to think of a circumstance where it Would be necessary for the OC to be so young. Even 16-17 is pushing it for some of the love interests.
