I hoped I was just dreaming last night. All that Matsuri was shot and my friend getting killed by this "Guardsman" wasn't real.

My first claim was proven immediately wrong when I ask the others where Matsuri was.

I was now watching the news on the Television in the lounge.

Breaking news too...

News Reporter (Female) (JP): Tokyo has issued a state of emergency as five dead bodies have been found on the sidewalk with their limbs torn off.

News Reporter (Male) (JP): Authorities say amidst the finished autopsy of the victims, the weapon utilized wasn't a butcher knife, machete, nor brute strength. The wounds indicated that some sort of weapon utilizing high energy concentration as the wounds were immediately cauterized after it was torn off. I threw the remote towards the TV so hard it broke.

Coco (JP): F*CK!!!

Calli and Ame were with me watching the TV.

Calli (JP): This is getting worse...

Coco (JP): IT WAS THAT F*CKING F*CKER!

Ame (JP): Coco, I'm really sorry...

Coco: SORRY?! YOU'RE THE ONE WHO BROUGHT HIM HERE AME! HE KILLED MY FRIEND AND ALMOST KILLED MATSURI-CHAN AND YOU THINK A SORRY WILL FIX IT?!

Ame (JP): I swear I will find him! I promise!

Coco (JP): YOU  BETTER FIND HIM.

I went closer to Ame

Coco (JP): Because I swear, if he ever dares to kill anyone again...

Coco (JP): I'M GOING TO FIND HIM AND TEAR HIM UP MYSELF!

Calli's PoV

I could see the situation were affecting everyone, they were scared of the person and were scared to even go out at night. And affecting everyone mentally too, especially Ame.

Ame (EN): This has gone from bad to worse...

Ame sat on one of the couches.

Ame (EN): Calli, I'm sorry that everything turned out this way... I didn't want all of this to happen to everyone... I-I-I'm really sorry.

I can see that Ame was on the verge of crying. 

Enough of all of this.

Calli (EN): That's it...

Ame (EN): Wh-What?

Calli (EN): I said that's it... This guy has been causing us nothing but trouble and suffering.

Ame (EN): Wait, Calli what are you planning now?!

Calli (EN): What I should've done from the beginning.

I then left the room.

Calli (EN): Gura, Nerissa! Where are you two?

Gura (EN): Over here Calli!

I saw Gura eating pizza.

Calli (EN): Where's Nerissa?

Nerissa (EN): I'm here Calli-senpai!

Gura (EN): You need something Calli?

Calli (EN): Yes, change your clothes Gura. Nerissa, grab your staff and microphone.

Nerissa (EN): Eh? Why?

Calli (EN): We are ending this.

Calli (EN): We're going after that troublemaker.

They both looked at me with a confused look.

Calli (EN): Are you two really that dumb? Get your shrimps and jailbirds damn it!

Gura (EN): Ooooh, I see where you're getting.

Calli (EN): Good, get yourselves changed. We're starting our search now.

4 Weeks Later
Not so far from the Hololive HQ.
Rhodes PoV

I've been laying myself low and stayed away from more populated areas, hiding in alleyways and any place safe. People adorned in blue uniform always approached some civilians, the vest read POLICE in all capital words. Must be this place's local law enforcers... To name a few right now I had eaten up all of my MRE's, but I still have a handful of Corpse Starch with me though. Got to save them up.

It was also pouring rain.

Rhodes: Damn rains when it's not even the time!

I quickly ran under the front of a bakery as the rain continued to pour.

Rhodes: Frackin hell... Can this get any worse?

I leaned against the door, waiting for this rain to stop.

But the rain... Almost feels kind of relaxing, all the battles that I remember. Being drowned out by the pouring rain.

The lasguns firing...

The Commissar barking out orders...

The tide of green skins...

The dakka's of their guns...

And their waagh's...

all drowning away under the rain.

Rhodes' mind: This place isn't that bad actually...

*Clack*

The door then opens behind me and that made me fall backwards.

Rhodes: Unf!

???: Oh my! Young man are you alright?

I looked at the person, it was an old lady yet she still looked young.

Rhodes: I'm alright ma'am. Please do not fret yourself.

Old Lady: It's raining out here! Come in it's warmer in the bakery.

Rhodes: Very well.

She walked back into the bakery as I hold the door for myself before then closing it.

Old Lady: You're a soldier are you?

Rhodes: Yes ma'am.

Old Lady: Where are you from? Your uniform doesn't look American or JSDF.

Rhodes: I come from... A place far away.

Old Lady: Then you must be very tired. Come to the back, you can rest here for now.

Rhodes: Very well...

I followed the old lady to the back of the bakery, the place seemed to be a house too.

Old Lady: Korone! Okayu! Can you two come here for a moment?

I heard rushed footsteps come down the stairs, it seems that this place isn't just a bakery.

???: What is it Grand-

Two girls with animalistic features stopped dead in their tracks. One a Felinid and the other a Canid. Both stared at me as if I'm someone they saw.

Old Lady: Hey don't stare at the gentleman like that, you're weirding him out.

Canid: Sorry grandma...

Old Lady: It's okay. This is my granddaughter Korone, the girl with cat ears is her friend Okayu.

Korone: Nice to meet you sir!

Okayu: Sorry if you were weirded out.

Rhodes: Oh no no it was alright. I'm already used to that.

Old Lady: I'll bring you something to eat and drink, wait here.

The old lady walked off.

Korone: What is that gun? I never saw it before.

Rhodes: Oh this? This is the Kantrael Pattern Lasgun. Standard issue among all Cadian guardsman.

Korone: Lasgun?

Rhodes: Means a laser gun, can basically blow off limbs and virtually has unlimited ammo.

Okayu: Can you show us?

Rhodes: Sorry kid... But I can't it's quite dangerous.

Korone: That's okay. Can we get a picture of you? Just for memories?

Rhodes: Sure.

I saw her pull out that phone and snapped a picture.

Korone POV

I managed to get his picture.

Korone: Thanks. And uh, what is your name?

Rhodes: Rhodes, Vestian Rhodes.

Korone: That's a nice name. I'm going get a drink so can you keep him company Okayu?

Okayu: Sure.

I walked away as I held my phone and opened discord.

Korone (whisper): I should show this on discord.
