Vacation Time! Part II
"I didn't eat the Cheetos!" you yelled as you were shaken awake. You had been on the plane for about 10 hours and the ride was finally over. You weren't going to Ninjago beach...you were going to Hawaii. (A/N I'll make the rest of the world exist in Ninjago if I want so don't judge. -_-) You looked up to see your boyfriend looking over you with an amused smile and you realized what you had just yelled. You blushed darkly. "Dreams. They can be....weird," you admitted. Lloyd chuckled.
"Don't I know it. Come on, we're here." You nodded and reached out your hand and he helped you up from your seat. You both got your luggage and joined the others outside the air-craft.
"What took you so long?" Kai asked looking over at you both.
"(Y/n) wasn't waking up. She was dreaming of Cheetos," he replied with a slight smirk in your direction. You huffed and cross your arms, staring indignantly at him.
"For your information, Lloyd, I wasn't dreaming about Cheetos. I was dreaming that I was on trial for eating someone else's Cheetos... For eating....Cole's Cheetos...." Cole gasped as he looked over at you and (B/f/n) was laughing.
"You ate my Cheetos?!" he exclaimed. You shook your head frantically in protest.
"No! Not in real life! Just in my dream!" Cole crossed his arms and turned away from you with a pouty face. "I better find them." You sighed. Cole could be so....well, Cole. Even though he was your second best friend (you didn't count Lloyd entirely as a best friend since he was more than that) he could really get on your nerves. Your true best friend, however, found the whole situation hilarious.
"Yeah, I bet you ten dollars she ate them," she said with a laugh. You sighed and shook your head. You hid all the evidence... Now a stupid dream betrayed you. Cole luckily didn't look in his bag for the Cheetos so you were safe. For a short while that is, and you knew it. Soon, Cole would find that the Cheetos were gone and all hell would break loose. At least you had the Green Ninja as your boyfriend. You could use him as a shield.
"I bet you ten dollars I'll be dead soon," you mumbled under your breath as you headed to the air port.

You all were just beginning to get settled in your vacation beach house when there was a knock on the door. The knock was a pattern, and one you recognized. Knock, knock. Knock, knock, knock. Knock. You raised your eyebrows when you heard it and stood up to answer the door. "Kade?" You asked as you opened the door. Your older brother smiled and opened his arms for you.
"In the flesh!" he exclaimed. You smiled brightly and flung your arms around him.
"How and when did you get here? I didn't know you coming!"
"Well, I was going to be staying in Hawaii for the last few weeks of my summer and I saw you at the airport. I may or may not have followed you home." You smiled slightly and shook your head.
"You always surprise me, Kade. Wanna come in?" You asked. He nodded as smiled at you. "Sure." He walked inside with you. As you lead him to the living room he looked down at you with brotherly concern and said,
"So, I trust you'll be staying in a different room than your ninja-boyfriend, correct?" You chuckled slightly and looked up at him.
"Have you already forgotten my 'ninja-boyfriend's' name already? Lloyd knows his boundaries, and so do I. I'm not planning on staying with him long term any time soon," you informed him. Kade still showed concern for you.
"I would prefer that you not stay with him long term until your married." If he hasn't said it in such a serious tone, you wouldn't thought he was teasing you. But you knew him well enough to know he really meant what he said.
"Married..?! Kade, we haven't even talked about..."
"I know. I'm just telling you that. I think it's wise advice." You nodded you head gently. "It is. It is."
You reached the living room and the Ninja and (B/f/n) were all chilling out after unpacking. You suddenly felt shy to see Lloyd and you knew it was Ecuador of what your brother had said to you. The thought of marriage hasn't really occurred to you until now.
"Hey guys, look who showed up to surprise me!" You exclaimed, directing your attention to everyone in the room. They all stood up and smiled when they saw your brother standing next to you.
"Kade!" the exclaimed. You never understood how your brother got along with literally everybody. He didn't entirely like Lloyd that much, but that was only because he was protective of you. They got along fine though, and Kade never made a scene.
"It's good to see you man!" Cole greeted giving him what you called a 'man hug.' They all greeted him enthusiastically and invited him to have dinner with them. He gladly accepted.
As you all were sitting around the dinner table Jay brought up the question, "So, how did you end up getting here?" Kade looked over at you and you suppressed an amused smile.
"I'm having the last of my summer here in Hawaii," he replied. "I was on the same plane as you, but in a different section. I saw you all when I got out. I may or may not have followed you here," he said with a shrug. Nya leaned over to whisper in your ear. "Look at that," she whispered jokingly, "your bro is a stalker." You shook your head and giggled then swatted at her.
"Well that's not the least bit creepy," Jay replied.
"I never said it wasn't creepy. Anyway, how long are you guys staying here? I've got two weeks," Kade said. You chimed in.
"We're staying here for a week. We've got Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday...you get the idea. We're leaving next Sunday morning," you explained. Your brother nodded his head slowly.
"Alright. I don't have anything planned for the time I'm here. I can spend most of my time here if you guys don't mind?"
"Not at all. You're always welcome to hang with us," Lloyd said with a smile. Kade smiled back, much to your delight.
"Thanks. I should go now, I'll see you all tomorrow," he said as he pushed his chair back. You gave him a slight wave.
"See ya later, bro," you said. He smiled back at you. "Later, sis." He turned away and walked out the door.

"Alright, ready to hit the water?" You asked as you turned to (B/f/n). She nodded with a smile but then sighed.
"Yeah, I'm ready, but I was gonna teach you to surf today! I'm pretty sure that the waves aren't gonna be big today. We need nice waves to surf," she said. You nodded with a sigh that matched hers. Nya walked in, and eating the last past of your conversation she said, "I wish I could make waves on the beach. Or control water. That'd be even better than making waves," she said. You nodded in agreement.
"Totally! Anyway, you ready?" Nya nodded and the three of you walked out into the beach. All the guys were already there and your pupils dilated when you saw Lloyd. (B/f/n) nudged you with her elbow.
"Somebody's star struck~" she said in a sing song voice. You looked over at her as a blush crept up your cheeks but then you saw that she was no longer looking at you, but her boyfriend Kai. You rolled your eyes and shoved her away.
"You're one to talk!" you replied in annoyance. She blushed that time.
"Anyway, let's go," she said. You chuckled slightly and nodded. You ran over to we're Lloyd and Cole were standing. They turned around when they heard you.
"You look nice," they both said. You raised an eyebrow at Cole and Lloyd shot him a glare. Cole put his hands up defensively. "Hey, can't I completely my friend?" He walked away and joined Jay on the other side of the beach while Lloyd mumbled, "Yeah, when your friend isn't my girlfriend."
"Lighten up a bit Lloyd, it was just a compliment," you said with a slight shrug. Lloyd's shoulders loosened up slightly an he sighed while turning back to look at you.
"I know....it's just.... I don't know. I just get this vibe from him when he's around you," he explained. You put a hand on the Golden Ninja's shoulder and smiled slightly.
"He likes me, but as a friend. You know that you have no reason to be jealous, right? You're the only one for me..." you whispered while you laid your head on his bare shoulder. Lloyd smiled slightly and sighed. You removed your head from his holder after a few minutes and looked up at him with a mischievous smile. "I bet I can beat you to the water." Lloyd looked down at you and smirked.
"Challenge excepted," he said. You laughed and shoved him out of the way and ran to the water. Lloyd laughed and ran after you. "Hey! That isn't fair!"
"Life isn't fair!" You replied while you laughed. He shook his head as he splashed into the water only a few seconds after you.
"Okay, you might be able to redeem yourself if you can beat me to that rock out there," you challenged. You lifted up your hand and pointed out into the distance and Lloyd nodded. You lined up next to each other and got ready to swim. "Ready....set......GO!" You both shot off across the water, swimming as fast as you could. Lloyd beat you that time but you got him back by shoving him off the rock into the water. You did that back and forth a couple times until you were both exhausted.
"So far day one has been fun," you said as you sat down on the beach. Then you smiled and laughed slightly. "Ha, that rhymes." Lloyd chuckled and put an arm around you.
"This is nice," he said after a few moments. You nodded. "Yeah, it is." You say in silence for a few minutes and then you looked up at your boyfriend.
"Kade said something to me earlier...." You began. "He said that he didn't want me staying with you for an extended period of time until we...until we were married." Lloyd looked over at you suddenly. "We haven't talked about marriage at all and I guess it just...hit me."
"You're right. We haven't. But that's a very serious issue. It's not that I haven't thought of it..." he blushed darkly. "But we're on vacation. We can leave that for another time." You nodded.
"Yeah. You're right." Lloyd smiled at you.
"I'm gonna head inside to change."
"Alright. I'll stay here for now." Lloyd nodded and stood up from your side. He left to go inside the beach house and you were left alone. You continued to watch the sunset when someone sat next to you.
"Hey." You were expecting Lloyd's almost childish voice but instead it was Cole's deep voice. You turned to look at him.
"Oh hey Cole!" you greeted with a smile.
"Sorry for embarrassing you with Lloyd earlier. It just slipped out," he said. You shrugged your shoulders.
"I didn't mind, really," you told him. He sighed with relief. "We're friends after all. Friends can compliment each other." Cole smiled smiled weakly.
"Yeah. Friends can do that..." He sighed gently and then stood up.
"Well, that's what I wanted to say. I'll um, see you later."
A few moments later Lloyd joined you side, dressed in regular clothes. "What was Cole talking to you about?" he asked.
"He just wanted to apologize for embarrassing me which he really didn't." Lloyd nodded slightly.
"Oh, okay." You both looked straight ahead of you and for the rest of the sun set you were silent.
