"Those two are perfect for each other," Kayli said, referring to two customers. One was a boy with light-brown hair and green eyes, and the other was a black-haired boy with blue eyes. Both looked to be about 13.

"How so?" I asked.

 "Have you seen how they look into each other's eyes? I'd do anything to have someone look at me like that," Kayli fantasized, completely unaware that I was looking at her the same way they did.  

"They don't look like they're together," I said.

"They say they're 'just friends', but.I know better."

My name is Alexandria Livestein, and I'm in love with my coworker. I have been for a while now, and I still haven't had the courage to tell her. I had always assumed she was straight. Maybe she was. She had been with guys before, bit I'd never seen her with a girl.
