Seven.

They left at four in the morning. Jenna had never even been on a plane before and for her to actually fly privately for the first time, she was in awe. The private jet was beautiful and exquisite. The leather white seats were comfy and she fell asleep immediately. She was too tired to look around so the moment they took off, she closed her eyes.

Jeremiah unbuckled her from the seat then carried her to the bed at the back. He always travelled in this jet and he trusted his pilot so when he placed Jenna on the bed, he got on beside her. What they were about to do was spontaneous and that's why he chose Vegas. They could have gone to the registrar's office and gotten married but he needed a place where she wouldn't change her mind. In the dark he admitted that he was scared. He'd never felt like that before and the feeling scared him. At the club he would have really done serious damage to Benny if the bouncers hadn't intervened. He looked at her sleeping form, brushed her hair away from her face and kissed her forehead.

Marriage was not the solution to their problems. Jenna was scared he didn't trust her while he was scared she would leave him. The last four months had been bliss and the thought of not having that again, waking up next to her, it terrified him. In such a short amount of time she had come to be the center of his world. She grounded him like no one had ever been able to. He wanted children with her. The rest they would figure out as they went. At the back of his mind he knew that he wanted to marry her before she met his family. Something told him that he had to do it. His sisters Zoe and Chloe weren't snobs who would judge her and her background. Terry was kind and she would accept Jenna with open arms. His father wouldn't object to his marriage either. But he had this pressing feeling that he had to marry her first.

Jenna woke up in time for their landing. It was ten in the morning and Vegas looked like how she always imagined it. Flashy and lively. The sun was already shinning bright making her giddy. Is that what people called pre-wedding jitters? Her stomach was making somersaults and she couldn't stay still. A concierge took them to the Cosmopolitan and her jaw dropped the moment her door opened. Jeremiah didn't give her time to gawk but instead pulled her to the elevators. She came to terms with the fact that with him she would always stay in five star hotels and luxurious apartments.

Their room if she could call it that featured the color palettes of blue and white with large residential living spaces, separate seating areas and privates terraces. Jenna spun around taking it all in, the ceiling, white glass door with designs on them to give the illusion of privacy. She felt that even a castle wasn't so beautiful. She ventured to the bathroom and inwardly squealed at the deep large bathtub. Of course his apartment had one but it wasn't that big and they'd never used it. She imagined both of them naked in it without any care in the world.

"Jennifer" Jeremiah called from the bedroom where he was unpacking. He'd sent all the staff away the moment they walked in. "You like? Or should we find another hotel?"

"Don't be dense. Of course I like it. It's the most beautiful place I've ever set foot in aside from your apartment" she said almost jumping up in joy.

"Okay then. Here" he handed her card.

"What am I supposed to do with this?"

"Who's dense now? Go shopping. Get your hair and nails done. Meet me back here at six and then we'll go get married."

"You know I have my own savings. Right?"

"Don't fight me on this baby. That card has no limit so you can buy whatever you want without looking at the prices." he placed his finger on her lips when she tried to protest. "I've seen you look at prices at every store we've gone to. Now off you go." pushing her towards the door, she grabbed her purse then kissed him goodbye. There wasn't much Jeremiah needed to do. He had his suit ready. The only thing he needed was the rings. He left the hotel and went to do his own shopping.

Jenna was surprised by the driver waiting for her at the entrance. He said he had been instructed to take her anywhere she wanted to go and bring her back safely. She got in and told him to take her to a clothing store. The driver must have thought she was one of those rich ladies who came to Vegas to spend money because he stopped at an exclusive store judging by its exterior alone. He opened the door for her and she went inside promising herself she'll look around and then tell him to take her to a less expensive place. A lady dressed like a model in a red wrap dress and matching shoes approached them and sneered at Jenna.

"Excuse me. Are you lost?" the woman asked giving her a head to toe perusal that said 'people like you aren't welcome here'

Jenna didn't answer her. Instead she went to the racks and picked a few dresses. Cocktail, gowns, anything that she liked then proceeded to go into one of the changing rooms. The mean sales lady was following her around watching her like a hawk. When she closed the door to the changing room, she heard the woman from the other side saying that they should prepare security because she had a feeling some skank who had just walked in was going to steal. Jenna huffed and wondered why human beings judged others so harshly. Just because she was in jeans and sneakers that meant she was a thief?

The first dress she tried on was a blue chiffon high low dress with a sweetheart neckline and lace on the edges. She didn't look at the price. She was definitely taking it. The next one was an elegant navy blue satin with an empire neckline and gold belt around the waist. It took her an hour to try the rest and she had to take half of them if only to spite the lady still outside her door. Jenna ignored her and went straight to the counter. The woman behind it was nice enough and she smiled at Jenna prompting her to ask if they had white dresses.

"I'm getting married today and I need something white. Preferably knee length"

"Yes. Let me get someone to stand in for me and I'll show you the ones we have." she said then turned to the woman still standing behind Jenna waiting for her to say she couldn't pay so she could kick her out. "Corrine please pack this while I show her the wedding dresses we have" 'Corrine' smirked evilly then went ahead to pack. Jenna ignored her and went with Alice who had introduced herself and told her Corrine was a twenty four hour bitch so she should ignore the woman.

It didn't take long for her to find what she was looking for and with a last goodbye to Alice she left the store with Corrine's face beet red staring at her back. The driver immediately got out and helped her put her things in the booth then they went to the beauty parlor. They last visited a shoe shop that had Jenna apologizing to Jeremiah in her head because of the dent she was going to put on his card. She over indulged herself and felt no shame at all. She arrived back at the Cosmopolitan at five then went up to their room while the driver carried all her bags. He needed an extra pair of hands to help him and Jenna actually winced at all the bags she had accumulated. She had also made a detour to a lingerie shop picking a few pieces she was sure Jeremiah would appreciate.

"I'm home. Anyone around?" she called but when she was met with silence she breathed in relief. Her explanations and apologies will have to wait till later. With instructions to the driver to put the bags where there was space, she tipped them and went in the bathroom. Stripping she filled the tub with a bubble bath then got in and sighed happily. She could get used to that kind of life. Shopping, bubble baths, pretty shoes and more shoes. Jenna fell asleep in the tub thinking about a room full of shoes just for her.

Jeremiah entered the room they were staying in and smiled at the bags that were scattered everywhere. He thought he would have to actually drag her back to the stores and forcing her to pick out whatever she liked but she hadn't held back. He scheduled their wedding to be at eight so it meant they had two hours to prepare. "Jennifer" he called out but got no answer. "Baby are you here?" he walked to the bedroom and upon seeing the bathroom door open, he went in. His breath caught in his throat. Her hair was a mass of curls piled up on top of her head and she was sleeping with her hands on either side of the bathtub. One knee was peeking out from the foam and without knowing it, without even trying she was the sexiest woman he had ever seen. Jeremiah knelt beside the tub facing her and brushed a few wisps of hair that clung to her forehead away.

Jenna felt the light feathery touch and woke up opening her eyes slowly. She must have fallen asleep. Her dreams were filled with shoes everywhere and it took her a moment to remember the event that had transpired since last night. "Hi" she croaked when she looked up at Jeremiah. "Hi to you too. When did you get back?" his voice was velvety soft almost a whisper. She wondered where he had gone since he didn't like shopping. "Not long ago" Jenna replied after lifting his hand and looking at his wrist watch. "Where were you?"

"Out planning our honeymoon and I bought rings. They're simple but when we go back home I'll have my jeweler make you whatever you want"

"I don't care. I'll just keep the one you found here. Can I see?"

"I love you. And no you can't see" he said smiling back at her. She smiled back and they both tried really hard to ignore the fact that she was naked and water was the only thing covering her. "I'll let you clean up then it's my turn" it took everything in him to walk out of that bathroom without looking back. Soon he'll get the chance the chance to show her how beautiful she really was.

Jenna drained the water then rinsed herself. Unlike most people her hair was tolerable and at times like this that she was grateful. Brushing her teeth she vacated the bathroom dressed in a robe that was cinched tight at her waist. Jeremiah was on the bed his hands planted behind him like he was waiting for her. "That was fast. I expected you to take another hour" he said making her laugh. She would have taken longer if she hadn't visited the beauty parlor.

"I'm not like most women."

"You're not like any woman I've ever known." he got up to his feet. "One of a kind" he murmured dropping a kiss on her lips before heading to get cleaned up. "I'll dress in the bathroom so that you'll have all the privacy you need" winking he closed the door behind him.

Jenna disrobed then wore a white corset she had picked earlier. It came with lace panties in the same color, stockings and a garter belt. She put them on feeling her nerves coming back. Was he going to like it? Was she even allowed to wear white if she wasn't a virgin? Her legs felt wobbly and she sat on the vanity mirror placed strategically on the right side of the room beside the bathroom. She put on the simple white satin heels and started doing her makeup while her mind ran wild. Finally she put on her dress when she heard the sound of the shower stop. Her hair was still intact so she let the curls fall to her shoulders ruffling them a bit then she started pacing. What was she thinking when she bought a white dress? Maybe cream or yellow would have been okay.

Jeremiah didn't take long before he came out. He was dressed in a black suit that fit every part of his body sinfully. He stopped short and took in Jenna's appearance. Her dress was simple with no embellishments at all. Knee length with a deep V-neck and long sleeves. In her simplicity she looked regal. And made his heart skip a beat. He then noticed she was pacing and frowned. "Are you nervous?" that had to be the only reason she was wearing holes in the carpet.

"No. Yes. Do you think this dress is fine?" she asked

"That dress is perfect. Why are you worried about it?" if she didn't like it then why did she buy it?

"No I mean the color. Is it okay? Should I have picked another color?" realisation dawned making him take two large steps towards her. He grabbed her elbows and stopped her from moving any further.

"Don't you dare think like that. You're the most purest person I know so no negative thoughts. Not now" when she went to reply he silenced her with a kiss. "Are you ready? Let's go"

"Mmmh. You're sure I look okay?"

"You look stunning. And I know I never asked but if you want a church wedding we'll have one of those too"

"Jeremy that is not helping. It's filling my head up with more anxiousness" really is this man that dense? Why would he tell her that? How could she start thinking about a wedding now?

"Sorry. Let's talk about our honeymoon then. Where would you like to go?" Jeremiah asked ushering her out. Distract her enough until they got to the chapel.

"Anywhere?"

"No that's not an answer. Tell me of places you dream of visiting."

"Paris? Everyone wants to go to Paris" she said thinking it would be the best honeymoon if they went there.

"Good. We leave in the morning. Anywhere else?" he liked that they thought alike.

"Hawaii or Ibiza. Dubai too. It's a stunning place. Africa. Definitely Africa and we could go on a safari, they have the best reserves." now she was rumbling

"Honey Africa is big. Where exactly?"

"We'll have to take a year off. We can go on a safari for a whole year. Visit at least every country"

"Okay."

That snapped her out of her rumblings "Okay? Like okay we'll take a year to travel in Africa or okay I heard your childish dreams and I think you're crazy?"

"Okay we'll go wherever you want for however long you want." he was serious. He would take her childhood dreams and make them come true. Jenna looked out the window and realized the car wasn't moving.

"Why have we stopped?"

"Because we're here. Are you ready to become Mrs Maxwell?"

"If I say no will we just go back home?"

"Not a chance. Now move it" Jeremiah got out and held his hand out for her. No way he was going back home without a wife.

The ceremony was short. God knows where Jeremiah got the witnesses from but they signed papers and they were done. Jenna didn't have the chance to freak out or have second thoughts. She was glad this was nothing like a church wedding or they would be dragging her to the alter. After that Jeremiah took her to a casino to relax. He wanted her to have fun and forget about everything that was to come tonight. There was no stopping her, of course she was nervous. Even the lingerie she had on wasn't giving her any booster. She drank and participated in games she had no idea how to play. After losing twice she told him they should leave. Wasting money wasn't going to help her nerves.

"Hey you know we don't have to do this if you don't want to. Right?" he meant it. He would wait for as long as it took. She was his wife now and forcing her to do something she wasn't ready for wouldn't start their marriage in a good light.

"No. I want to do it. I can't cower away forever. Wait here I'll be right back" she said when they got to their hotel room. Jenna went in and took off her dress. She looked at herself in the mirror and decided she was okay. Not cover girl okay but then again she wasn't aiming to be a cover girl. Just a wife that would please her husband. She opened the door.

Jeremiah's jaw was on the floor. Jenna looked too good to be true. The heels accentuated her legs to look longer and the corset did something to her breasts. They looked full and so soft. That's all he could see. Soft skin that was calling for his lips and hands and every part of his body. He stood up and walked towards her. Jeremiah opened his mouth but nothing came out. He couldn't speak so instead he used his hands. A feather light caress on her arms. He wanted to touch all of her in a single caress. Tonight was going to be a long night.
