Chapter 2: Descented Dreamers

I talked to Mami and Kyubey until it was time for class so I quickly rushed to class after saying bye to Mami and Kyubey. I was only a second late but Mrs. Saotome still scolded me and when I finally got to my seat class started up again without any lectures. I really hoped that there were no lectures but as always that never happened so when a lecture started I just started to ignore it. I started to write in my journal while the old lectures continued to be said or yelled by Mrs. Saotome. The notes I wrote in were my science notes so that I can be prepared for when the lecture was over which might not happen until pigs can fly. I heard the people who were behind me whisper loudly about me so I turned to them and I shot a glare at them.

"hey I am trying to work here so can you keep it down or don't talk at all."I whispered in an annoyed tone which got them shocked and made them be quiet for once in their miserable and pitiless lives. I turned around to work on my science notes then I heard the bell ringing in my ears and I sighed."So much for science class."I mumbled to myself then I gathered my things and I put them in my backpack. I left the "lecture" class so that I can get ready for gym class and try to pass my pull up test. I was really frustrated with about a lot of things and it motivates me to do my best in almost anything. I ended up doing thirty pull ups until I couldn't do no more and I bet the record for the most pull ups. I felt proud of myself for only a little while until gym class was over and I had to deal with a lot of crap.

Time Skip

When school was over I went to the cafe to go see Mami and like expected she was there drinking a cup of tea in a seat next to another as if she was waiting for someone. I then sit next to her while we greeted each other. It was silent only for a short moment until Mami started to speak.

"so I am wondering if you want to learn more about us magical girls and it's okay if you don't."Mami said with a happy yet calm tone. I then begun to respond to her in a gentle voice.

"I want to know more about magical girls."I saw Mami frown for a second then she quickly plastered a smile on her face.

"alright then so I guess magical girl lessons will start after I am done drinking my tea."Mami said as she lifted her cup up and started taking sips of her tea. When Mami was done she gave an extra tip next to the empty cup then we left to start our lesson and I felt excited to begin. After we got a little farther into the town Mami had a beautiful yellow gem that had gold on the top to bottom and had a little gold flower symbol on the very top of it. It started to glow a little and it looked so beautiful.

"What does it mean when it is glowing like that?"I asked than as we walked a little bit more it glowed even more than before.

"This is a soul gem. It helps us magical girls track witches and if it is destroyed you could say we die or if we don't keep it shiny after a battle."Mami gave me so many answers to my questions and it makes me so happy. When we got to a hospital we saw this portal that led to a place that I couldn't even begin to describe as. Mami got into her battle clothes then she grabbed my hand firmly and we both jumped into the portal at the same time. The place was black and white and drawings of weird patterns were in the sky. Pencils,pens,markers,and papers were on the ground so it made me think that this was like we were inside a sketch book. Familiars that were like drawings of wolves, swords,and animals in armor came towards us then Mami pulled out a lot of guns and she started to shoot all the familiars that came close. When Mami was done shooting all the familiars she grabbed my hand and we continued to head to the witch.

"Alright when we get to the witch I want you to stand back while I'm fighting cause you might get hurt." said Mami as she started to kill more familiars until we got to a gate that was made out of origami that was colored in pens and markers. When Mami destroyed the paper door we were both looking at a witch that looks like it was drawn. It looked liked an origami wolf,fox,owl,and cat with three arms on each side of it covered in a drawing of swirls. I look at it with disgust and fear as I saw Mami frown at the witch then she smiled.

"Do you need help killing that thing."I said as Mami turned around to face me and answered in a sweet tone.

"I'm sure that I'll do just fine."Mami then walked towards the witch then started to pull on one of the swirls to catch its attention. The witch looked at Mami then attacked her by grabbing Mami's arm and threw her at a wall.

"Mami!"I yelled as I saw Mami covered in all sorts of bruises Mami than pulled out hundreds of gun then started shooting the witch over and over again. The witch grabbed Mami and started throwing her around like a ragdoll then Mami brought out an extremely giant gun and started shooting the witch and then it exploded to paper shreds. The labyrinth disappeared and a weird black gem covered in silver medal with to sharp edges on the top and bottom. Mami picked it up and she showed me it.

"This is a grief seed its a witch's egg. After I battle a witch my soulgem becomes cloudy so I use the grief seed to clean it." Mami than put the grief seed up against her foggy soulgem then the grief seed absorbed the fog and dust off her soulgem and it became shiny again.
When we left I felt like I was in a long and slow dream that I never wanted to leave and I felt stronger person than before.

Hey guys I know I made an extremely long and boring chapter and it is kinda hard to look for mistakes and I am so sorry for that so don't pour rant rain on me T^T I rlly hate ranting rain but comment on any mistakes and I will be posting the third chapter really soon bye-bye for now!
