Agent Ghost walked down the clean, pristine corridors of the governments building. He had just put his catch in a room guarded by way too many guards but he knew why. Because those weird things would be back for him. The plant monster, the boy with black eyes, the boy with lightning, the beautiful one and the other two seemingly normal ones.

How curious, he'd think, that a group of humans had managed to form bonds with these beings from somewhere. Whatever they were, though, Ghost would find out. And there would be no distractions, no interruptions and, most importantly, no annoyances.

"Hey, Mister Ghost, sir, I mean, Agent Ghost, sir!" Shouted a voice from behind him and, instantly, he groaned.

"Yes, Pierce... What is it now?" He curtly answered, turning on his heel to glare at the other with, sadly, no effect on Jack's' smile.

"Well, I was thinking, now that we've caught the aliens, we could, y'know, do the sequel thing?"

Agent Ghost blinked slowly. "The... sequel... thing?"

"Yeah, y'know, when the characters take their next mission in the following movie and better bonds are formed and-"

"Jack. We're not in a movie. And we didn't capture the aliens, we captured one of the humans they had been travelling with." Jack looked down slightly and Ghost sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "I... I guess you could, if you want a start for the 'sequel' thing, you might, I don't know, want to talk to the human?"

Instantly, Jack brightened up. "Oh, cool idea! Look after Colin for me, please!"

"Who- Oh, oh, right. The octopus. Yes, yes, I will do that. Just, hurry up and start talking to him about the others, okay?"

"Yessir!" Jack saluted and bounded away.

"This is not a safe way to travel!" Shouted Logan.

"Shut up and hold on!" Virgil ordered.

As it turned out, Cerberus was not very easy to summon to the mortal world. Virgil had nearly been caught by his father twice and Cerberus was incredibly excited and loud about their reunion. Cerberus was huge, with fat, heavy paws and vicious teeth, lined smartly in his mouth, and he was running faster than the rest of the cars on the highway. Patton had to send out calculated shots of lightening to switch off any flashing speed cameras and Roman hid under Virgil's' borrowed hoodie, as to not get seen and start a mini-riot of fangirls.

Cerberus leapt over a truck effortlessly, bounding his way heavily over cars, leaving dents and potholes wherever he landed. The dog's' middle head turned around briefly to lick Virgil across the face, as it often did, before getting back on task, leaving an unamused god with monster saliva up half his face. Logan tried hard not to laugh at him.

"Princey, pass me my jacket quickly," Huffed Virgil.

Roman looked at him incredulously. "What if I'm seen?"

"Then you'll just have to live with the fact people like you," Shrugged Virgil, pulling it off him and scrubbing Cerberus's' lick off him. When he was done, he dumped it back over Roman, ignoring the pretty god's' face of horror. "Xweva, nljw l gles kwdr!" Virgil ordered, and Cerberus changed course instantly, running over traffic and leaping off the highway.

Now running through empty woods, the four gods scoured the dark landscape.

Patton pointed. "There! Big ol' building, loads of big lights and cars."

Logan nodded. "Looks like it." He pulled out the Book and looked at the writing that formed before him. "There's no way we can stealth in on Cerberus and, no, Roman, we can't use you as a distraction."

Roman frowned. "When was that one of our options?"

"It always was one of our options, I just never talked to you about it," Logan answered.

"C'mon, guys, Thomas first, then Joan and Talyn, then home, then arguing," Lectured Patton, giving his two friends a look as he slid of Cerberus's' back. He put his hands on his hips to show he was serious.

Virgil jumped off Cerberus's' back and offered a hand up to Roman. The god took it and allowed Virgil to lift him off the dog's' back and onto the ground. Logan fell off ungraciously.

"To the south-east wall!" Instructed Logan, standing up and wiping mud off the hems of his trousers.

Virgil patted Cerberus on the nose and beckoned for the dog to sit. "To the south-east wall."
