He was just busy. And you were okay with that, no matter how lonely you got sometimes. Recently, Arima always had stuff to do after school so you spent majority of your time alone. But you were alright with it, after all, whatever he needed to do seemed important.

You sighed as you sat alone in your classroom eating lunch. Arima had gone up to the roof to have his with Fura Taishi and Uruka Minami. When you asked if you could follow, Arima rejected quickly as if he had something to hide.

Both Minami and Fura would look at you pitifully before walking away with him, leaving you behind them.

To be frank, it was really hurtful to be brushed off by Arima so many times. It'd only been a while since the two of you began dating and he already got tired of you.

You stopped eating when you noticed a stray tear rolling down your cheek, how foolish, you smiled sadly as you wiped it away, I'm crying over a boy.

As you laughed softly at how ridiculous you were behaving, your phone vibrated.

You smiled and felt your day brighten up, you still felt an aching in your chest but it your mood was lifted slightly.

Arima's just finished lunch with Fura and Minami and decided to check up on you before lessons started again.

He was about to enter the room when he heard a sniffle from you, he stopped in his tracks and looked closer; you were crying. But before he could say anything, your phone vibrated and your face lit up as you texted back a reply happily.

"(Y/N)?" Arima said as he finally decided to approach you, "how was lunch?"

"It was fine,"
It was lonely

"Are you still going to be busy today?"
Please walk home with me

"Yes, I have some commitment going on outside school," he replied, "why?"

"Oh, it's nothing,"
I just wanted to spend time with you, that's all.
