(PokéMEN7/John's PoV)

This was it! This was finally it!

This was the day where Temp and I was finally going to make an actual Genesect!

And not a purple Kabutops like we have been doing for the past who knows how long.

"Is it almost done?" I asked.

"Almost. Just need to place the Metal Coat on the Pokémon and then I'll trade it to you," Temp explained.

He was sitting at a table that was filled with green chemicals. He has been experimenting with them for as long as we have been doing this.

Soon. Soon I'll finally have Genesect and become the Chosen One! I thought, smiling to myself.

I will not let Mikey become the Chosen One because of him trying to play the hero.

He will not get in the way of my plans!

"John, are you there?" Temp waved a hand over my face.

"Hmm? Yeah, just thinking about something," I said.

He stayed quiet for a moment before turning to the trade machine.

"So you'll trade me which Pokémon again?" He asked.

"Hmm," I turned to the PC and searched for a good Pokémon to trade with.

"I'll give you this extra Swinub. It almost has perfect IV's and EV's. Close to my Mamoswine," I said, transferring the Swinub's Pokéball into my party.

"Ok," Temp said.

I took a deep breath.

This was it, I shakily placed the Pokéball into the trade machine while Temp placed the other Pokéball in the machine.

The machine blinked and traded the Pokémon.

I grabbed the future Genesect's Pokéball and send out the Pokémon.

Please tell me it worked! I thought, crossing my fingers.

Nope!

It was another purple Kabutops.

"Damn it!" I slammed my arms on the table that held the green chemicals.

"Woah! Careful with those," Temp said, grabbing the one that would have fallen off.

"Sorry. What are those anyway?" I asked.

"Tried mixing chemicals with moonstones and dawnstones. They all ended up as mixtures like this. I thought it would be interesting to experiment," he explained.

"Well try it next time we trade a Kabutops," I said.

"It's still not ready yet," Temp explained.

"When will it be ready?" I asked.

He shrugged. "A couple of days, give or take."

"I'll give you two days to test it. If it fails, then keep experimenting with it. We cannot give up on our quest to evolve Kaputops into Genesect," I said.

Temp tilted his head.

"Two days?" He asked.

"Yes, is there a problem?" I asked.

"No it's just...I can test it tomorrow. I just need to lab all to myself. I'll work overtime," Temp said.

"Tomorrow? So you'll work all day today?" I asked and he nodded.

I thought about it.

If this works then there may be a higher chance of getting a Genesect as quickly as possible! Then I'll know for sure that I'll be the Chosen One!

"I like those odds. Deal," I finally said.

"Ok. Cover for me, say that I'm off on an adventure searching for Pokémon. In case anyone asks, I know Mikey or Hail-Man might ask since I'm usually following you around," Temp explained.

I nodded and left the lab.

I decided to visit Mikey to see what he was doing. Hopefully nothing that will interfere with my plans.

(MandJTV/Mikey's PoV)

"Yes!" I cheered as Castform gained another level.

Soon enough they will be strong enough for the next gym if that's possible.

I retrieved them before sending out Lucario to train as well.

I cheered on Lucario as he beat a couple of the Pokémon that were nearby.

Just enough for them to faint before placing them away from any danger.

I retrieved Lucario so I could send out the next Mon in my party.

"Hello Mikey," a voice behind me said.

I turn around to see John, standing there with his arms folded and looking down at me.

"Oh hey John. Are you here to train as well?" I asked, enthusiastically.

He shook his head.

"No, I just came here to check on you. Emi told me where you were," he explained.

"Oh. Well how nice of you," I said.

"Yeah just taking a break from doing stuff," John stretched.

"What kind of stuff?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Getting my capture rate up so I can find more shines," John explained.

"Right...oh where's the Temp?" I asked, looking around for the Temp who was usually behind John.

"He's on an adventure looking for Pokémon. Anyway how's your day?" He asked.

"Going really well actually. Been training up my Pokémon a lot. In case any danger happens around Hammerblocke, I need to be ready," I explained.

"That's great Mikey," John smiled.

"I know right! So considered my offer of being my sidekick?" I asked, hoping for a yes.

"I am not being Tad-boy. No way," John scowled.

"Fair enough. You can come up with better hero name," I shrugged.

"Well that's all I came for. Cya around Mikey," John waved goodbye and left.

"Bye John. Now where was I?" I said, looking for the Pokémon that I was going to send out.

"Ah right. Go Jack!"

(John's PoV)

Dang it Mikey! Who said you can play the hero! I thought angrily as I stomped into HammerBlocke.

He shall not interfere with my plans in taking over-I mean becoming the Chosen One with my Genesect which I still need! Hopefully Temp knows what he's doing!

"Oh John hi!" Emi waved at me. Scarecrow being next to her.

"Hey guys, what are you two up to?" I asked, coming up to them.

"Scarecrow and I are going to investigate the museum. Because of the pants ghost," Emi explained.

"Ooh! Can I join you two?" I asked.

Scarecrow shrugged, "Sure why not?"

I grinned at them.

We went to the museum where we saw a familiar face.

"Jack?" The once exiled (I guess???) man turned around to face us.

"Oh it's you guys," he sighed.

"Why are you here?" Scarecrow asked.

"Yeah, I thought you left Hammerblocke," Emi wondered.

"Yeah but Micheal mentioned to me about the pants ghost the other day and I thought that I could check it out," Jack sighed tiredly.

Why does he sound so tired? I wondered.

Emi picked up on this for she asked, "Have you been getting a good amount of sleep lately?"

"No not really. Just been searching for Pokémon and talking with Mikey about a lot of things. A LOT of things," Jack explained, emphasizing on 'Lot.'

He didn't elaborate what things however.

"Well you should get some rest," Emi pointed out but Jack shook his head.

"Nah, as the basically appointed mayor, I should investigate this ghost," Jack yawned.

"It's not going to do any good to us if you end up falling asleep," Scarecrow explained.

"I'm not going to. I need to see what the ghost is and who. It better not be a mother Marowak because I swear if I hear that someone actually killed a Pokémon, I'm going to flip," Jack said.

I shivered at this.

Yeah, we're sure as hell aren't going through Gen 1's events with Lavender Town and the tower, I thought.

"Well then...the more the merrier. Come on, let's go!" Emi cheered.

Scarecrow and I exchanged looks as Emi and Jack ran into the museum.

Oh what's the worse that can happen? I thought.

A/N: crossover time!

So I had this idea for a while after watching a few videos of the PokéSMP (which you should watch).

So me being me, decided to write this.

Timeline: Basically after the first gym battle and John and the Temp (forget his name can someone remind me later) try to revive a Genesect and only slightly before Tommy's final canon death and before his revival.

So basically we're going back in time when Tommy is in the prison with Dream.

Next chapter or the chapter after the next one is when the actual crossover will begin.

I may write the characters a bit OOC so I apologize for that. Also these are the personas that they play in both SMP's and not the real CC.

Also no shipping. I don't think I can write ships in (unless it's canon up until this point).
