Three

Hanna started to bite her fingernails. She didn't know what to do. She had never owned a whole fortune. "Um, Magi?" she asked.

"Yes malady?"

"What do I do now? I just don't know."

"You can have anything in the world. What do you most desire?" Hanna knew, but it was a wish that could not be granted.

Kuro sighed. It was lunch time and his friends were nowhere in sight. "Connie's probably keeping them away from me," he thought. "There's just no pleasing that girl." he munched on his sandwich, but still found himself with no appetite. He couldn't stop thinking about his night visit. Who was that cat and why did it need HIS help of all people. Last time he checked, he was 100% normal. So how was it that he had a special power? What was that power? All of a sudden, he found himself surrounded by none other than Connie, Joey, and Erin. "Thought you were mad at me," Kuro said.

"Can't stay mad at you. That's what makes you so annoying," Connie smiled. "But honestly Kuro, you can confide in us. I promise if you tell me I won't laugh. And if I do, I have to do your jobs for a week." Kuro sighed. He had to now. They were his friends.

"Last night, I um met this cat," they nodded. "But um it could.... talk. It told me I was the only one who could stop it's sister because I had some sort of 'special power'." he waited for them to laugh. It never came.

"Um, I don't know Kuro. I think you're telling the truth, but that's pretty hard to take in," Connie said.

"See? I thought so. You don't believe me, you think I'm making this up," he layed his head down on the table.

"No Kuro, that's not it we're just worried about you. You've been down ever since last night. If that happened to me, I would most likely be down too. But you have friends Kuro, friends that have stuck with you through thick and thin. Isn't that something you don't want to miss out on?" she stood up. "So I believe you. Anyone else?" They all stood up.

"Of course I believe my man Kuro!" Erin said.

"Ya Kuro's been my friend ever since high school started," Joey said. "Why would he start lying now?"

"Thanks guys," Kuro said. And right then and there, he collapsed and fell asleep.
