Makeup Myths
There are some tips I've read about that haven't worked for me. Trust me, I've tried all of these, or I wouldn't simply claim that they don't work.
Myth 1: Coat your eyelash curler with eyeliner and when you curl your lashes, you will have a perfectly lined lid.
While this sounds like a genius idea, I have tried it, and let me tell you it just results in a sloppy black line across your eyelid.
Myth 2: Press your mascara against your eyelid as you apply it to get a light, natural eyeliner.
Once again, it seems to make sense, but once again, I just ended up with black blotches all around my poor eye.
Myth 3: Apply red lipstick to dark circles under your eyes to help color correct the area before applying your regular foundation or concealer.
While this sounds good in theory, it doesn't actually do that much for your undereye, in fact, it adds an even brighter, stronger colour for your concealer to try to cover up, then when you try to blend it, it mixes with your concealer and you have to keep adding more and more. I'd say in the end, my regular concealer works better.
So, I know that's only three makeup myths, but let me know if you guys like this or not and maybe I will do more in the future!
