When you decorate, you display pieces of decor that represent you and your personality. Use your room as a representation of your true self, and all the pieces of yourself: your geeky side, your creative side, your girly side, and every other unique and splendid part of yourself!

Tips and Tricks:

1. Go to Michael's or another craft store and get a long piece of decorative string or yarn. Then, get clothespins. Color the clothespins or glue beads and stickers to them to make them one of a kind. Then, spread the string from one corner of your room to another, clip the clothespins to it, and feel free to use it to hang drawings or pictures all your own!

2. Get a piece of Styrofoam or corkboard. Then, cut it into a square shape. Cover it in your favorite duct tape design. Finally, use old earrings that no longer have backings to pin pictures or important reminders to your board. I call mine my "Dream board"

3. Pick paint colours for your room that express you. (Or are your favourite colours)

4. Run out of room to hang pictures or other items on the wall? Don't forget you have an open ceiling to tape posters or drawings to as well! Then you can look at it while you sleep!

5. Go on Pinterest or even just online and find your favourite quotes. Then, write them out in your neatest handwriting, and post them all around your room. They will encourage you throughout the day, and look pretty on your wall as something you made yourself.
