You were currently in your room attempting to call Calli. You previously considered against calling her, believing that it would go against her rule of not going crazy.

Still, you haven't called her since you got her phone number, so it wouldn't hurt just to call her once, now would it?

You gathered up all your courage and called her number.

Just as you were about to hang up...

Calli: "Hello, you wonderful deadbeat."

...she answered your call.

"H-h-h-h-h-hello, Cal!" you responded with a sudden, Porky Pig-like stutter.

Calli: "Why did you call me?"

"Y-y-y-you see, I w-w-w-was just wondering h-h-h-how t-t-t-things are going for y-y-y-you," you responded, continuing to stutter like Porky Pig all the way.

Calli: "You know, you could have easily sent me a message through our group chat regarding this, right?"

"Well, I d-d-d-didn't know."

Calli: "But overall, it's been going okay. I'm starting to get used to the hood, but its still slow progress."

"Okay, Cal, talk to you later," you said as you slowly began to hang up the call.

Calli: "Wait! Don't hang up yet!"

"C-c-c-Cal, I can't keep talking! I'm getting the feeling my parents may be listening to me right now."

Calli: "Are they home right now?"

"No."

Calli: "Then you needn't fret."

"They're gonna check the house phone activity tho."

Calli: "That won't be until later, and they'll know who you were talking to anyways."

"Mmm, okay."

Calli: "Are you still there?"

"Yes."

Calli: "You can ask me another question before I hang up."

"Are you busy currently?"

Calli: "No."

"Well, would you like to go to some places?"

Calli: "There's this new action movie coming out and I was wondering if you knew if there happens to be a movie theater nearby that is carrying the film."

"Well, most certainly so. Would you like for me to take you there?"

Calli was silent for a bit.

Calli: "I would love to."

"Great!" you responded, about to hang up again.

Calli: "But before you hang up...."

"Yes?"

Calli: "You must promise that you won't make a big scene or reveal my identity. If you do so, then I am going to hurt you."

"Y-y-y-y-you don't have to worry, Calli!" you answered quickly. "I won't be so rash around you."

Calli: "Okay, see you soon."

And with that, she hung up.

"God, I hope so," you thought with fear.

Timeskip right to the afternoon...

You and Calli have reached the movie theater.

"OK, Cal, we just find our seats and wait for the movie to start."

Calli: "How long will it take?"

"Whenever. Until then, we just watch all the previews."

Timeskip to after the movie...

Calli: "So what'd you think of the movie, my little deadbeat?"

"To be real, Cal, I thought it was pretty good, especially the fight scenes."

Calli: "I enjoyed it, too. But what I'm surprised about is that you were quiet the whole time."

"Well, I didn't want to be kicked out. And also if I did, they'd notice you all too well."

Calli: "Glad you care about my safety."

"I care about mine as well," you said as you imagined her giving you a wailing.

Calli: "Thank you for taking me to see the movie and for showing me around the neighborhood the other day."

"Eh, it's nothing." you responded. "You'll be used to it."

You two arrived in the neighborhood.

"See you tomorrow, Cal."

Calli: "I'll see you tomorrow; but right now, I need to stream!"

Timeskip to that night, with (y/n) watching Calli's stream.

Around the end, she said something that made your heart jump.

Calli: "My life has been interesting these past few days. I met a pretty cool guy and I've had some fun with him."

You realized that she was referring to you.

You looked out your window and saw her running her stream.

You looked up and saw a shooting star passing by.

"Is this fate?"
