"How are we going to get the quintessence to bring her back? Haggar can summon the dark magic to harness it, but where will we get it from?!" Hunk panicked, holding his head in his hands.

"We're not going to kill a planet for her. She wouldn't want that." Keith agreed solemnly. Lance had noticed that he had changed since Katie's death, losing a member of the only family he had had taken a toll on him. Most days Keith was fine, but every now and then, Lance saw the look on his face and almost hugged him.

Sometimes he did, and Keith never protested.

"We confiscated tons of quintessence from the galra when they were defeated, right?" Shiro asked.

"I like where this is going." Matt muttered, a smile forming on his face.

"Me too." Shiro replied. "Well, most of the quintessence was given back to planets that were recently harvested, but we hid the rest on Arus."

"So we just go and get the quintessence." Lance finished.

"What do we do with Haggar once that's over?" Hunk asked.

"Return her to the prison. They'll decide what to do with her." Shiro answered.

"Fair enough." Keith muttered.

"What's the catch?" Matt asked suddenly. "There's always a catch."

"No catch. It's that simple - no cuts, not buts, no coconuts." Hunk answered excitedly.

"Did you just say 'no cuts, no buts, no coconuts'?" Lance snickered.

"You're going to have a fourth grade flashback moment in three, two..."

"Holy crow! I remember now." Lance held his head in his hands. "I regret so much..." Matt chuckled.

"No wonder you and Katie were great friends. You sound just like her." He smirked at the blue paladin.

"I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing."
