First Scott pov in a while!! I've been having a lot of fun writing Jimmy's pov, so um- anyway- I've been writing a lot more lately as well, I've been kinda sick so I've got lots of extra time. It's 4 am when I'm starting this, I have shit to do today- eh,,

"It has been almost 3 days sense I've gotten it, how do I respond? He's asked me on a date, is this him trying to make a move on me? Is he even straight? I'm definitely overthinking this,," I paced around my room, Xornoth sitting on my bed patiently.

"Just tell him goddammit!" He exclaimed, clearly frustrated.

We were talking about the letter Jimmy had sent to me. Xornoth didn't think much of it, just wanting to see us together already. Why? No clue. But he did. It was honestly quite annoying.

"It's not that easy! He's straight!" I stopped pacing, looking over to Xornoth.

"Really? You really think Solidarity, Jimmy, Prince of The Cod Empire, is straight? He's clearly flustered around you! He likes you!" He said sarcastically.

"Fine, I'll tell him. Just-" I quickly got cut off by Xornoth: "Write the damn letter, Scott!" He slammed a piece of paper In front of me.

I grabbed a pen, clicking it as I thought of things to write.

"Dear Solidarity,

I apologize for my long awaited reply, but I would love to go on a date with you. Where were you thinking? And what time?

Love from Rivendell,
Scott Smajor" I wrote swiftly.

I was clearly stalling, cleaning up the letters on the page.

"Come on! Send it over!" Xornoth handed me a ribbon, gesturing for me to tie it.

I took as much time as I could making the bow look as perfect as possible.

"I swear if you don't stop stalling, I'll tell him." That was enough for me to hand it to the owl.

"See, wasn't that easy?" He looked proud, smirking a bit.

"Fuck no. That was the scariest letter I've ever wrote." I was definitely over exaggerating, but it was quite scary.

"I will forever question that." Xornoth walked out of the room, closing the door behind.

"He said it doesn't HAVE to be in a romantic way, yeah, this isn't romantic at all! Wait, does that mean he wanted it to be in a romantic way? Why did he say have in the first place?!" I mumbled to myself, laying down on my bed, clearly frustrated.

"Ugh, I hate love." I said, facepalming.

I sat up again, sipping the small cup of tea I had on my bedside table.

"I have things to do today, why am I just sitting around?!" I asked myself, quickly making my way to my closet.

I quickly grabbed one of my capes, putting it on and making my way to the door.

"I'm gonna be late, I'm gonna be late!!" I said under my breath, bolting to the palace entrance.

The Crystal Cliffs was such a beautiful place, I honestly wish I could go there more often. A meeting is a great excuse to see the place though. I missed meetings like this. A bunch of emperors, meeting up in an empire, just talking about what's changed. It's amazing hearing about everything. Last time we had one of these was months ago, although it feels like yesterday. 

(GUYS I FINISHED THIS CHAPTER THEN MY INTERNET WENT OUT BEFORE I COULD SAVE IT AND NOW ITS ALL GONE HELP ME I HAVE TO UPLOAD THIS IN A COUPLE HOURS. If this chapter is kinda short you know why.)

"It's been so long since we've had one of these, so much must've changed since then! Sadly, Pearl and Jimmy weren't able to make it today" Gem was starting to speak, everyone quieting down a bit.

"Yeah!! I've been training my wolves! They should be able to help around The Undergrove soon!!" This was Shrub's first time attending a meeting like this, still fairly new. 

"I've been working on more controllable explosives! It's going pretty well! Sausage has been helping me too!" FWhip has always been a big fan of explosives, it's great he's learning about controlled one's!

"Yeah, yeah!! Explosives are way more fun then they look!" Sausage had liked them as well, but never as much as fWhip. 

(I am living off caffeine at this point, please help me. /hj)

"I may have a visitor from another land soon, if that's anything. Nothing else interesting has been happening recently." I sat formally, looking around the table to see what others had to say.

"My Academy has been doing very well!! People from all across the empires have been applying!" I remember hearing some people of Rivendell talking about The Academy Gem had opened, people are dying to get in.

(GUYS IS APPLYING THE RIGHT WORD??? HELP ME ITS 6 AM I HAVENT SLEPT I CANT DO THIS SHIT RN.)

The meeting felt short, but it was honestly quite long. Almost 3 hours to be exact. We talked about many different things after that, future plans, concerns, things most people would talk about in a meeting such as this. I was very excited to go, and it did not disappoint. 3 hours feels like it would be a waste of time, but those meetings honestly brighten my day. Why? I'm not sure. Maybe it's the overall mood, or everyone coming together, seeing everyone get along, perhaps? But either way, I thoroughly enjoy going to them, and wish we had them more often. Maybe not EVERY day, just sometimes. Once every few weeks or so. But its also very hard to find a day where everyone is free.

I'm literally so tired, so um- I'm gonna end the chapter here. It's at like 900 words so that's a good middle ground for me. Ily guys!! I'm gonna proof read this, publish it, and then go to sleep.
