I was awoken by a gentle knocking on the door, soon followed by my older brother, Xornoth, walking in the room.

"Shh," I said, gesturing to Jimmy, still sleeping.

"I didn't know you had a boy over!" He whisper-yelled, not noticing it was Jimmy laying with me.

"My brother's got a boyfriend!!" He said, a bit louder.

"Shhh!!" I tried not to wake him.

"Sorry, sorry." He went back down to a whisper.

"Anyway, mother wants to see you."

"I can't really go and see her, Xornoth." I said sarcastically, once again gesturing towards Jimmy.

"What do I tell her? 'Oh yeah, Scott's up there sleeping with his boyfriend!' Or something?" He chuckled.

"Just- I'll be there in a few minutes." He walked out after that, closing the door behind him.

"Jimmy, my love, I need to get up." I tried waking him up, getting a small groan in response.

"Come on,," I tried moving, until he brought his arms around my waist, keeping me in place.

"Am I just gonna be stuck here forever?" I said jokingly.

"Yes." He smiled.

"What do I have to do so you'll let me get up?" I put my hand in his hair, playing with it softly.

"Fine," He whined, letting go of me.

"Thank you." I said, giving him a small kiss on the cheek.

"Ah, there you are!" Says my mother, watching as I walked down the stairs.

I had changed before I came down, now wearing a more formal outfit.

"I wanted to ask about your wedding. It's soon! Have you found anyone? Do I need to move the date back at all?" My mother was always very respectful and understanding, I loved her for it.

"I have found someone, and I don't think you need to move the date back." I smiled in return.

"That's great! I can't wait to meet them!" I'm not sure if she knew I was gay, but I liked how she didn't assume their gender.

"Is there anything else you need?"

"Nope! Although I was going to ask if you could make sure Lauren is settling in okay."

"Yes of course! I'll do that right now!" I said, walking over towards the guest room she was staying in.

"Come in!" Said Lauren, as I opened the door.

I looked over to see her doing her makeup in the corner vanity.

"I wanted to make sure you're settling in okay." I smiled.

"Yep! Once again, thank you for letting me stay for a bit. I love seeing the small town I grew up in now!" I didn't know she grew up in Rivendell! Maybe that's how I knew her?

"Mhm! If you need anything, don't be afraid to ask!" I said, closing the door again.

I walked back up to my room, wanting to make sure Jimmy was alright.

As I opened the door, looking over towards the bed, I saw him still sleeping. I smiled, thinking he looked adorable. I then looked over to my desk, seeing the flower he had put in my hair still sitting there. It was just as beautiful as the night before.

I walked back downstairs, looking for Xornoth, who fortunately was just around the corner.

"Scott, I must ask, who was in your bed?" Asked Xornoth, being the nosey older brother he is.

"Was it Jimmy?" He asked again.

"Jimmy's straight, Xornoth." At this point, I knew Jimmy wasn't actually straight, but I didn't want to out him.

"Are you sure? He clearly has a crush on you."

"As straight as a ruler." I smiled towards Xornoth, starting to walk past.

"That must be a very bendy ruler-" He said laughing.

"Xornoth!" I cut him off quickly.

"What? It's true! Do you see the way he looks at you? Homosexual." He clapped, although it didn't emphasize his point at all.

"Shut up." I said sarcastically.

"There's so much love in his eyes! It's adorable!" He was a sucker for romance, if it wasn't obvious.

"I know, I'm so hot." I said, laughing it off.

"Well, who was it then?"

"None of your business." It actually was true, it really was none of his business.

"So it was Jimmy!" He said laughing.

I smiled in return, turning back around towards him.

"Well, besides that, do you know how Lauren's doing?" He asked, this time seeming a bit more genuine.

"Yep! She's doing fine! I checked on her this morning, she said everything's alright!" I smiled once again.

"Now, who was the boy!!" This time it seemed a bit more like a demand rather than a question.

"You ask a lot of questions." I laughed.
