~Jarod's POV~

I couldn't believe what I just heard. It brought me out of my gamer gaze as I was playing Super Smash Bros. to have a little bit of fun. I quickly turned to the person next to me, a girl with jet black hair and sad brown eyes. My heart was cracking as I spoke, "W-What do you mean you have to do another mission?!"

"For some reason, there's been some risky business in Japan and I have to go investigate," she sighed heavily. "I'm so sorry, bro-"

"Why would they send you on another mission?!" I cried, feeling tears welling up in my eyes. "The last mission got you to rehab for two months. If they're making you use your powers again, I will punch them!"

"The organization didn't mention that." I sighed in relief as she hugged me tight. "Jarod, after everything that's happened it'll be hard for them to put me back through that again. I'm sure it's something minor, a tension between two people." I sniffled a little and said,

"But who's gonna play Duel Monsters with me?"

"OH MY GOODNESS!" my sister cried. "There's James, Bryan, Keiza, Will-"

"They don't play as well as you and I do!" I exclaimed. "We're a team, Lizzy. I don't want to lose you again due to some catastrophe."

"I'll be fine, big brother!" she giggled with a cute wink. "I'll be back home before you even know it." I grinned and held her tight, hoping that she would be right and that everything will turn out smoothly.
