Class 1-A all sat in their seats, waiting for Aizawa to arrive. They all chatted amongst themselves, about any random topic. The chatter stopped when Aizawa and Nezu both came into the class.

"Principal Nezu?!" the students exclaimed.

"Yes, it's me! Am I a bear? A dog? No one knows, but what's important is that I'm the principal!!" Nezu said, grinning wildly.

"Please just get on with it, Nezu sir..." Aizawa grumbled. Nezu grinned "Of course!!"

"I'm sure none of you know about this, but every few years we have the first year's hero course participate in a sort of.. game of pretend! We have a hero team, and a villain team, both with a pre-selected leader. Now, the leaders don't get to choose their teams, everyone else can!! This event can last anywhere from a day to a month, depending on how long you take too complete the tasks.

"The hero team needs to either capture all the villain members, catch the leader, or make the villains surrender.

"The villains could capture the heroes, catch the hero leader, escape the fake city, or obtain all of the objectives.

"You won't know what the villain's objectives are until after the event starts. Before I annonce the leaders, any questions?"

All of the students seemed nervous, as none of them wanted to be the villain leader. They were in UA too become heroes, after all! The only hand raised was Asui's, "Two questions, kero. First, are the 1-B students joining us, ribbit? Second, do the villains have to.. act like villains?"

Nezu hummed, "1-B and 1-A will both take part seperately. As for the second question, while you aren't required to act like your roles, your grade most certainly would be better if you do!!! Now, any other questions?"

When no one else raised their hands, Nezu grinned a shit-eating grin, and said "Alrighty, our hero team leader will be Bakugou Katsuki!!"

"YES!!!"

Nezu's grin only grew as he spoke his next line, "And Midoriya Izuku will be the villain team leader!!"

Midoriya was internally screaming in fear, but he simply said "w-wouldn't s-s-s-someone e-else be b-better..?"

"Nope!! You all have a week to prepare!!" with that, Nezu left the classroom, probably to explain to class 1-B.

Great... Midoriya thought, resting his head in his arms, so I have to play the part of a villain in order to be a hero...

It didn't make any sense to Midoriya. Why would he be chosen as the villain leader?

He decided to push the thought aside. There was nothing he could do to change Nezu's choice. If he had to act like a villain for a while, he could do that. He would do the best villain act he could, if that was what it took!

He mumbled to himself as he wrote in his notebook, trying to figure out who to recruit. He had a dozen different plans and back up plans.

It would be hard to recruit anyone for his team, as it were the villains team. However, he had a few people who he was sure would join his side.

For example, while he couldn't be to sure on Iida, he knew that Uraraka had a tendancy to be somewhat relient on him during team training, if the Sports Festival said anything.

Mineta would probably join him in fear of being badly injured by the "villains".

He wasn't positive, but Tokoyami might join as well.

All he had to do is ask them... not too hard.

"Hey, Deku-kun!! Could I join your team?" Uraraka called out, running towards him.

That works too.

"Hi Uraraka-chan!! And sure, you can join." Midoriya smiled at her.

Yeah, maybe this wouldn't be too hard after all.

By the time Midoriya had Uraraka and Tokoyami on his team, the heroes already had Iida, the whole of Bakusquad, and Shoji.

Midoriya groaned miserably. They were a day in already, and he only had two members, while Bakugou had six. He could already tell who was considering joining what group, as well. Hagakure, Aoyoma, and Asui had been hanging out at the same table as him, Tokoyami, and Uraraka during lunch. However, Sato, Todoroki, Yaoyorozu and Mineta had been talking to the hero team more. Koda, Jiro, and Ojiro were still on neutral grounds.

Seems like his theory of Mineta joining out of fear had been wrong.

Whatever, he could work with these circumstances. He scribbled in his notebook furiously, muttering to himself.

He didn't look up when he heard Uraraka say "Deku-kun, you're being scary..." as he was too focused.

"let'ssee...ifAoyomajoinsus,thenIdefinitlyshouldn'thavehimbetooclosetoTokoyami...UrarakaandTsuwouldbegoodpartneredupifTsujoinsourteam,Urarakacouldmakeobjectsfloat,whileTsucouldhitthemattheirtargetswithhertongue..butIcan'tbesurethatshe'lljoin,justbecauseshe'sbeenhangingoutnearus.Ireallydon'thavemuchtoworkwithhere..."

"You sure do talk fast, mon amie" Aoyoma sweatdropped.

"Kero, I think he's planning for the event" Asui stated, and Hagakure and Tokoyami nodded. Although, no one saw Hagakure. "He's definitly a good leader.." Hagakure said.

Midoriya looked up suddenly, "hey Hagakure-chan, do you think that you could become visible if you refract light in a certain way? Or is the light only able to make you glow?"

"Uhm... no? I tried before, it won't work.. Why?"

"Oh, no particular reason..." Midoriya shook his head, and went back to his mutterings.

Alright.. All you have to do is ask Aizawa.. Surely he'll know the answer!! Midoriya thought, gulping nervously. This whole thing made him pretty uncomfortable, pretending to be a villain.

Anyway, he approached Aizawa nervously, just before lunch. "Uhm, Aizawa-Sensei... I uh, have a question about the whole heroes and villains thing..?"

"What is it, problem child?"

"Well... I was wondering, are we able to get special support items and costumes for the event....?"

So, yeah. There are other stories like this, but I wanted to do my own. It's sometime after the dorm system, but they haven't done work studies. So Eri isn't here, or the third years.
