Part 2: The fiancé
/Yamaguchi's p.o.v./
Wow my life really sucks... I may have been saved before, but it didn't keep the bullies away for the rest of the day.
Right before lunch they were waiting for me outside my classroom. I once again started to run. It felt like I had circled the same halls fifty times before I finally ducked into one of the men's rooms. I went to the very last stall and locked the door. I put the seat of the toilet down and stepped onto it, crouching down so I couldn't be seen.
I really hope they didn't see me come in here. I tucked my chin into my knees feeling myself still trembling slightly. Why do they want to make my life a living hell? Just because I'm different? I don't Understand that. Or was it just cause I'm small weak and pathetic... That's probably it. I can't deny that about myself. It is true.
I felt my whole body stiffen as I heard people enter the bathroom. They started checking every stall and were getting dangerously close to the one I was hiding in.
Oh god no please just go away. I curled up even more if that were possible.
The shadow of the person's feet appeared under the stall door in front of me. They pushed in the door, but it didn't open.
Shit they found me! I started going into panic mode.
However the person on the other side didn't yell or try to force open the door. They knocked and spoke gently. "Um pardon me, but you can come out. I won't hurt you."
Is this some sort of trick? Are they trying to give me a false sense of security and lure me out. But that voice... It didn't sound like any of the bullies' I slowly and hesitantly moved out of my balled up position and put my feet on the floor to stand. I unlocked and opened the door to find a very short boy with a messy head of orange hair, and big brown eyes looking up at me. I think I recognized him... Yes he was in my class.
"Hi!" He smiled cheerfully. "We saw you get chased in here and wanted to make sure you were okay."
We? I looked behind him and over a bit to see another boy. He had black hair and blue eyes. He was taller, and had a straight face that could almost resemble a scowl. His expression did look a little frightening, but nothing about him really seemed threatening. I also recognized him as being in my class. Although still being fairly new here I didn't remember their names.
"You're Yamaguchi right? You just moved here?" The carrot top continued to speak.
"Um... Yeah." I replied shyly. Just what do these guys want?
"I'm Hinata Shouyou, and grumpy face over there is Kageyama Tobio." He introduced.
"Oi don't call me that dumbass!" The taller one finally spoke in a gruff voice.
Hinata ignored him and continued to talk to me. "Hey since you're still new do you wanna come and eat lunch with us?"
I was shocked by his offer. I've been at this school for a week and a half and no one has ever been this nice. Is it a trick? Should I go? Well... What have I got to lose anyway? "Um... Sure."
"Great!" He chirped giving another big ear to ear smile. "Let's go eat I'm starving!"
"You're always hungry." Kageyama mumbled as they started to walk, and I followed.

Lunch had just ended and I went to throw away my trash.
Hinata and Kageyama actually weren't that bad. I got to talking to them and we actually got along. I'm glad I finally made some friends.
I turned around and nearly bumped into a tall figure. "Sorry." I went to apologize and looked up to see who it was. A surprised expression obviously showed on my face. "T-Tsuki?" It's him again. He's the one who saved me before. He said he was in my class right? Maybe I could get to know him a bit. Maybe we could... Get along.
He gave me a strange look for the new shortening of his name, but didn't say anything about it. "Could you move?" His tone was cold, and dare I say, even slightly rude.
"O-oh sorry!" I jumped out of the way allowing him to put his trash in the garbage can. "Um... Thanks again for saving me earlier. I really appreciate it."
"I already told you it was no problem." He sighed. "Honestly if I knew you were gonna keep pestering me I wouldn't have done it. Maybe then you wouldn't be so annoying."
"Hey! I-" I stared to shout defensively, but then stopped when I looked at him again. He's so damn tall. I shrunk back down keeping my mouth shut. God I'm a wimp...
He continued to look at me with his brows raised slightly seemingly waiting for me to continue to defend myself. When I didn't he turned away with a click of his tongue. "Pathetic." He muttered and then walked away.
I am pathetic... Why did I ever even think I could get along with him. He's far too cold.

"You what?!" I shouted in surprise at my mother, who had asked me to come into the living room and talk when I got back from school.
"I've arranged a marriage for you." She repeated the words I couldn't believe. "Of course you won't be marrying anytime soon. We'll wait till after you get out of school."
"Mother, an arranged marriage? Why? Who does that?" I asked in disbelief.
"A lot of higher up families still do it Tadashi." She sighed. "And I did it for your best benefit. After your father died I struggled so much to keep a living while raising you. It had no time to even hardly think of finding a new husband. It was a miracle that I found your step father and he decided to take my hand despite me being a commoner. I don't want you to have to worry about that."
"But mother..." I trailed off looking to the floor.
"Don't worry I wouldn't give my baby to just anyone. He's a very nice boy and his family is very wealthy."
"Boy?" I asked. I had come out to my mother in the beginning of junior high, but I still wouldn't have expected her to marry me off to another guy.
"Of course darling I'm not that cruel of a mother who would make you hide in the closet all your life. They're fine with it as well so you've got nothing to worry about." She gave a small smile. "Please Tadashi do this for me. So I won't have to worry about you."
As much as I was against the idea I really did love my mother, and if she thought this was what was best for me, I can't find it in my heart to tell her no. "Alright."
"Thank you darling." She got up to hug me and kiss my forehead. "Now go do your homework he'll be coming over for dinner."

I had done my homework and spent the rest of the time sulking in my room. I really hope this guy is nice and isn't like most of the pompous asshats at my school. I started to hear noises downstairs and figured that he, whoever he was, was here. I waited upstairs pretending I didn't know anyone was here yet. It worked but only for a little while.
"Yamaguchi, come and meet our guest!" My mother called me down from my room sweetly.
"I'm coming." I called back with a sigh walking down the stairs. I then turned into the living room to see our guest being served tea and my mom chatting to him with a polite smile. He was in the chair turned away from me so I could see him properly yet. I walked into the room.
"Oh Yama, this is Tsukishima Kei. He is your new fiancé." My mother chirped happily.
He stood up and turned to face me.
In case you were wondering this wasn't a different Tsukishima Kei than from school, no it was him. It was freaking EXACTLY him!
He looked at me with a smirk like he had known all along. "It's a pleasure to meet you." He bowed down, taking my hand and brought it to his lips to kiss.
I felt my face redden which caused him to give a very quiet chuckle, to which I almost didn't hear.
He's just teasing me! I can't believe this I honestly can't believe this. You've got to be kidding me!
