January 21st, 2012.

"Where're you going?" Wilbur asked, looking up from his phone. He eyed Phil's outfit with curiosity. "And why are you all dressed up?"

"I'm going to get coffee with someone." He explained. "And I'm not dressed up, it's just jeans and a sweater."

"Someone, eh?" Wilbur asked, raising an eyebrow.

It was at this point that Techno, who was beside his brother reading, decided to butt in. "Is it a girl~?"

Phil felt his cheeks warm. "What does it matter?"

"It is a girl then!" Wilbur exclaimed, both him and Techno turning around on the couch, their arms on the back of the couch, their heads in their hands like they were teenage girls at a sleepover talking about boys. "Who is she?"

Phil rolled his eyes. "She's no one. I met her at the store and she liked my wings and said we should get coffee."

Techno grinned devilishly. "I think she's into you~."

Phil rolled his eyes, grabbing his keys and wallet. "Whatever. Wil, you're in charge. Make sure Tommy doesn't burn the house down."

"You better let us meet her!" Wilbur shouted before Phil left, closing the door behind him. As soon as they heard the car drive off, they giggled, something akin to a couple of twelve-year-old girls.

Phil spotted Kristin in the coffee shop, playing on her phone. He smiled, quickly sitting down across from her.

"Oh, you left your wings on!" She exclaimed, making Phil blush in embarrassment.

"Yeah, um, sorry about that-"

She waved him off. "Don't be. If I'm being honest, it's quite admirable seeing you walk around in public and not giving a shit about what others may thing about your wings. It takes guts to do that."

Phil felt his face warm, but now it was because of the compliment, rather than embarrassment.

The two talked about trivial things, primarily getting to know each other (or whatever people do on dates, I don't fucking know). That is, before Phil received a text.

Wilbur: How's the date going? ;)

"Who's that?" Kristin asked innocently.

"Just my son." Phil said, putting his phone up. "It's nothing, really."

"Which son?"

"The oldest, Wilbur." Phil said, taking a sip of his drink he got a while ago.

"You've got me curious about your boys." Kristin commented. "I'd love to meet them."

"You sure? They're quite a handful." He joked.

"Well, I'll be the judge of that, now won't I?" She joked back, giggling a bit.

"Boys!" Phil called as he opened the front door, Kristin right behind him. Within minutes, Wilbur, Techno, and Tommy were running each other over down the stairs. Phil sighed, causing Kristin to giggle. "These are my boys, Wilbur," He gestured towards Wilbur, who smiled. "That's Techno, the only quiet one," He gestured to Techno, who waved. "And that's Tommy, who is an absolute ray of sunshine that totally doesn't get on anyone's nerves." He gestured to Tommy, who grinned and waved excitedly. "Boys, this is Kristin."

"Ah, so you're the one he went on a date with." Wilbur said, causing Phil to blush.

"I never called it a date-"

"It's basically a date." Techno butt in.

"Are you going to be our new mom?" Tommy asked innocently.

Phil sighed, turning to Kristin. "I told you they're a handful."

She laughed. "I think they're quite cute."

"Can she play with us, dad?" Tommy asked.

Kristin looked towards Phil for permission, who sighed and nodded.

Right now, Phil was making dinner while Wilbur was playing the guitar for Kristin. Techno was reading again, and Tommy was doing.....whatever Tommy does.

Kristin eventually got up, and walked in the kitchen. "You need help with anything?"

"You don't have to help, I'm fine."

Kristin gave him a look. "I insist. You're already having me over for dinner, at least let me help as a repayment."

Phil sighed. "Fine. I haven't started the garlic bread yet, so if you could do that."

Kristin nodded, pulling out the bread, onion and garlic powder, and the butter.

Techno poked Wilbur in the side, earning his attention. "I have an idea." He whispered.

"What?" Wilbur whispered back.

"Play 'Kiss The Girl' from The Little Mermaid." Techno whispered, making Wilbur grin before getting his guitar ready.

He strummed the chords, clearing his throat before singing. "There, you see her, sitting there across the way. She don't got a lot to say, but there's something about her. And you don't know why, but you're dying to try, you wanna kiss the girl."

Phil felt his face flush as he heard Wilbur sing. "Oh god, please no..."

Then, Techno decided to join in.

"Yes, you want her, look at her, you know you do." The two brothers sang together. "It's possible that she wants you too, there is one way to ask her. It don't take a word, not a single word, go on and kiss the girl."

Phil heard Kristin giggle beside him.

"I'm sorry-" He started to apologize.

Kristin waved him off. "Don't be, it's adorable."

Tommy walked up to his older brothers, a curious look on his face. "Why are you guys singing the little mermaid?"

"For shits and giggles." Wilbur replied.

"I heard that, Wilbur!" Phil called, earning an eye roll from the teen.

"Can I sing with you guys?" Tommy asked, earning a nod from the older two.

"Sha-la-la-la-la-la, my, oh my, looks like the boys too shy, he ain't gonna kiss the girl!" All three brothers sang together, Tommy being slightly behind. "Sha-la-la-la-la-la, ain't that sad? Ain't it a shame? Too bad he's gonna miss the girl."

At this point, Phil's face was entirely red, while Kristin was in hysterics at that point.

"Nows your moment, floating in a blue lagoon, boy, you better do it soon, no time will be better." Wilbur sang alone. "She don't say a word, and she won't say a word unless you kiss the girl."

"They're an odd bunch, aren't they?" Kristin stated more than asked.

"What tipped you off? The fact that one of them is a piglin? Or the fact that they're singing the little mermaid? Or that their adopted father is a fallen angel?" Phil asked sarcastically, making the girl beside him giggle.

Then the three brothers sang once more.

"Sha-la-la-la-la-la, don't be scared, you got the mood prepared, go on and kiss the girl!"

"I know you told me earlier, but it still amazes me that you're an angel. Or, used to be, anyway."

"Sha-la-la-la-la-la, don't stop now, don't try to hide it how you wanna kiss the girl!"

"Yeah, especially the role fits you a lot better than it does me." Phil said, making Kristin blush.

"Sha-la-la-la-la-la, float along, and listen to the song! The song that says 'kiss the girl'!"

"Wow, I didn't think you had it in you to actually flirt." She said jokingly. "You've just been a red stuttering mess since I've met you."

"Sha-la-la-la-la-la, music play, do what the music say, you gotta kiss the girl."

"Well, that's because I met you."

"Kiss the girl...you wanna kiss the girl....you've gotta kiss the girl.....go on and kiss the girl......"

"Dinners ready!"

The two looked at each other as they neared Kristins doorstep.

"I just want to apologize for my boys, they can be a bit...eccentric...sometimes..."

Kristin waved him off. "You don't have to apologize for them. If anything, they just made tonight a lot more enjoyable. N-not that it wasn't enjoyable in the first place! I-I just mean-" She stuttered, getting cut off by Phil's light laughter.

"And I thought that I was bad." He joked.

"I really did enjoy tonight, and I honestly hope we can have another one like this." She said after a moment. "Maybe this time actually calling it a date. Oh, don't give me that look, it was basically a date by the time you asked me to stay for dinner!"

The two giggled, Phil's giggles getting cut off by a kiss on his cheek.

"G'night, Phil." She said, waving as she closed her door behind her.

"N-night..." Said a very flustered Phil, face red and being left dumbfounded by the kiss.
