Your POV

   It's been 12 hours and I've finally arrived at Toronto, Canada. I continued to follow the moving truck as I drove past many different tourist attractions. After awhile of driving through a maze of a city, I finally arrived at my new apartment. I unlocked the door and the men from the moving truck started bringing boxes in.

             ~5 Hours Later~

   I managed to unpack most of my boxes and organize most of my furniture. I decided to go outside and take a breather. I put on leather boots, a black toque (it's like a winter hat if you don't know what I'm talking about), mittens, a light winter jacket, an infinity scarf, and finally a quick book to read. I went outside, closing the door behind me. I walked to a nearby park and cleared off the snow that sat on a bench. I sunk into the bench and started reading.

   I looked up from my book and saw children having snowball fights and sliding down little hills with toboggans. I giggled at them. "I know right? It's pretty cute to watch the kids having fun", a tall man stood beside me smiling at the kids rolling down the hill. "I remember having that much fun in the snow as they are right now. How about you", he asked smiling at me. His eyes were chestnut brown and were filled with kindness, they seemed to make me doze off.

   A snowflake landed on my nose which snapped me back into reality. "I remember my friends and I would build igloos and then we would have snowball fights", I smiled. "But the best part was-", "mom's home made hot chocolate", we said at the same time. I giggled and he chuckled. "Is anyone sitting here", he smiled. "Nope, go ahead", I smiled back. "Are you new here because I would've recognized you", he asked. "Yeah I just moved here from the other side of Canada. I actually moved away from a quiet little town so this is a little overwhelming for me to come to a big city", I bit my bottom lip. "Well, stick with me and you'll do just fine", he smiled again and my gaze fell back into his eyes.

   "Oh where are my manners? My name is Rob Latsky and you are...", he broke the silence as he stood up. "Oh right, my name is (F/n)", I smiled. He offered me his hand and I took it. He pulled me up from the bench. "Well it was very nice to meet you (F/n), but I need to run. If you need anything give me a holler", he handed me a piece of paper with, I'm assuming, his phone number on it. "Thank you Rob I'll keep in touch", I smiled as he ran off.

   Wow first day here and I'm already starting to like it here.
