Lying and Remembering
•~Mika's P.O.V~•
I left the foxes and wolf as I needed to head back to the den. As I walked, the started moon rise. I paused and looked up at the sky, seeing stars start to appear.
"This isn't gonna end well.' I sighed mentally as I continued to walk through the forest.
Jumping over stones and bushes and weaving through trees, I finally reached the den. I took a deep breath and walked in, only to be pushed down by my father.
'Where have you been?!' He growled, pressing down his forepaw on my throat.
'I needed fresh air. Guess I wondered off to far.' I replied as he moved his paw.
I stood back up, only to have my father clench his teeth around my throat.
'Then why do I smell fox on you?' He growled, crunching down harder.
'I ran into some and fought them. Though, they ran away.' I replied.
He released me and started walking off, but not before pushing me down again. I stood up, shook my fur, and walked over to my usual spot in the back of the den. I laid down and stared at the stone walls that surrounded me.
'Hey, Mikaela.' Lacus started, coming up behind me.
'What?' I growled, not wanting to deal with him.
'What actually happened? I can tell when your lying, you know.' He said, sitting behind me.
'And why would I tell you that?' I growled, closing my eyes.
'We could tell everyone here.' René said, walking over to us. 'That is, if you don't tell us.'
'Fine,' I growled, sitting up and facing them. 'But, if either of you say a word, it's your fur on the line.'
*Time Skip cause explaining*
'Really?!' Lacus exclaimed as I finished telling them what happened.
'To think that you of all wolves would help a fox.' René muttered, shock etched into his face.
'Yeah, well, I've told you, now leave me alone.' I murmured, before laying down and going to sleep.

'Well...' Shinya started.
'Wow! This place is gigantic! It's bigger than my den!' Yuu yipped, running across the bridges and around the hollowed out tree's.
'Yuu! Stop before you hurt yourself!' Shinya called, trying to stop Yuu.
Shinya outstretched his forepaw, trying to hold him down. Yuu slipped out from his grip and continued to run along the bridges.
'This isn't gonna end well, is it?' Guren sighed, chasing after him.
'Haha! This place is amazing! There's so much room! It's like a giant patch for cubs to play!' Yuu yipped, circling around on the bridges.
'STOP!' Shinya yelped, grasping at Yuu tail with his teeth.
He pulled Yuu back, making him land on his belly. Shinya dragged Yuu back into one of the hollowed out trees before finally letting go of his tail.
'Why'd you do that, Shinya?' Yuu pouted, staring at Shinya.
'Did you even see where you were going?' He asked, sitting up straight.
Yuu looked over at where he was running, only to see a giant hole in the bridge.
'If there's a hole, why haven't you fixed it?' He asked, getting back up.
'We've been trying, but, it breaks every time.' Shinya explained, looking at the hole.
'Are you two done?' Guren asked, walking towards them. 'Cause if you are, it's time to go hunting.'
'Yes! Finally!' Yuu yipped, running back across the bridges and down the spiral staircase.
'Yeah, but then the next day, he fell down and couldn't walk straight for the next four days.' Guren said.
'But we can't forget about when we were building it too.' Shinya said.
'Pass me some more wood.' Guren said, hammering in a nail.
Shinya threw some wood to Guren and started carving another tree. A few hours had past when they finally finished. They sat down and stared at the ceiling.
'We're done.' Shinya sighed in relief.
'I'm gonna test the bridges.' Guren said, getting back up.
He walked across the bridges, till he got to the last one. As he neared the end, the wood below his feet broke. He fell down, landing on his arm.
'It broke just like that.' Shinya said, remembering the event.
'I'm just lucky I was in my furless form. If I was a wolf, I'd have broken more than just my arm.' Guren sighed.
'Wow. That must've hurt.' Yoichi said.
'It did. I couldn't even hunt.' Yuu pouted.
'At least your forepaw wasn't broken. I was stuck in here for almost 2 months!' Guren said, a growl in his throat.
'You should be glad that you didn't have to do anything,' Yuu said. 'I had to work around the den even though my paw was practically broken.'
'You didn't have to work that much.' Kimizuki said.
'We only gave you a few chores.' Shinoa sneered.
'A few?! You gave me like a hundred! No, it was more like a thousand.' Yuu growled a bit, staring daggers at Shinoa and Kimizuki.
'Well, you couldn't just lounge around and do nothing all day for four days straight.' Mitsuba said.
'It hurt so much!' Yuu groaned.
'Well its over now,' Shinya said, standing up. 'Anyway, let's get some sleep.'
'Already?!' Yuu complained. 'We haven't even eaten yet!'
'Your acting like a cub.' Guren said, getting up and walking away.
'I may be acting like a cub, but I can't help it when I'm hungry.' Yuu said.
'Fine. We have some mice and rabbits over there. Take some, but not all of it.' Guren sighed, crossing a bridge.
'Yay!' Yuu yipped, running over to the food, grabbing a rabbit.
The others followed, besides Shinya, and took some food themselves. After they finished, they all ran over to the where Guren and Shinya were.
'One night, and your out, got it?' Guren said, laying down.
'Yep.' They all agreed, finding their own spots to sleep.
They got comfortable and curled up, letting sleep take over, as the night progressed.
Have an awesome day/night!
Kitty-chan out! 💗
