•~Shinya's P.O.V~•

The morning sun shone down as birds chirped a tune. It was a beautiful day, but, not for me.

'Come on. Get up.' I said, batting everyone awake.

'It's too early to moveeeee...' Shinoa groaned.

'Says the one who was the first to wake up and go hunting.' Kimizuki sneered, trying to sit up.

"Not again." I sighed mentally as I woke the others.

They all woke up, including Yuu which was surprising, though they looked like they would collapse.

'Let's all go hunting, k.' I smiled, walking away.

'Yay!' They all yipped, chasing after me.

'I'll catch up later, wanna check something out.' Guren said, going in the opposite direction.

'K! See ya!' I smiled as he walked off.

The rest of us split up to find more prey. I also added a little game to it. Of course, they went with it and ran off, stars in their eyes. Though, I had the best place for prey. I caught 3 mice, 2 rabbits, 5 sparrows, a vole and 3 shrews. It was time to meet back up, so I pushed my prey along with my tail.

•~Third Person~•

'So. Let's split up here.' Shinoa said, stopping in and open field surrounded by trees.

'Alright. See you all after the hunt, then.' Yoichi said, walking off.

'I'm gonna win this game.' Kimizuki said, before walking off.

'Have fun! And don't be disappointed when I beat you!' Shinoa teased, running into the forest.

'Guess I'll see them all later.' Mitsuba murmured, taking her own path.

*With Yoichi*

"Let's see here..." Yoichi thought, ears pricked, listening to every sound around him.

He dropped down as he heard leaves rustling. As he creeped towards the rustling, he saw a white head pop out from the leaves. He pounced, killing it with a snap to the throat.

"First ones a rabbit. This should be good." He thought, crouching back down to stalk more prey.

*With Kimizuki*

Kimizuki looked around, scouting for any signs of movement. He stopped dead as he heard chirping. Dropping to his belly, he crawled towards the chirping. Through the grass, he saw two sparrows.

"Perfect." He thought, getting ready to pounce.

As he did, he swiped a claw at one sparrow while snapping his jaw down on the second. They both died in a instant. He heard a squeak, so he dropped down and stalked the mouse that revealed itself.

*With Shinoa*

'What will I find, today?' Shinoa murmured, stalking around in the tall grass.

She turned her head to the left to see vole facing the opposite way. She creeped up upon the little creature before swiping her claws at it, killing it just like that.

'That was easy. Wonder what I'll find next.' She smirked, stalking along the ground to find her next prey.

*With Mitsuba*

Padding through the tall grass, Mitsuba looked around, trying to find a piece of prey. As she looked behind her, she saw the figure of a slender rabbit and a tiny mouse. Licking her lips, she stalked towards them. She pounced, trapping the rabbit in her jaws and clawing at the mouse.

"There we go. Now, to find more." She thought, looking around again.

*With Yuu and Mika*

'Where are we going, Mika?' Yuu asked for like the 10th time.

'Just shut up and follow.' Mika sighed, continuing to walk further into the forest.

He came to a halt, snout in the air. Yuu pricked his ears, looking around in every direction.

'Over there.' Mika hissed, dropping down.

Yuu did the same, facing the direction Mika was. The leaves on either side of them started to rustle, signalling that prey was near. Nodding to each other, they both pounced at the creatures moving the leaves. It was a mouse and vole.

'If we keep this up, we might just win the game.' Yuu yipped, dropping the mouse on the ground.

'Let's go.' Mika nodded, running off.

Yuu followed as they found more prey around the area. They came back with five mice, two rabbits, three voles and three sparrows.

•~Shinya's P.O.V~•

I returned to see Yuu and Mikaela, both with a lot of prey.

'I see you two did well.' I said, walking over to them.

'Oh, yeah. You did well yourself, Shinya.' Yuu said.

'We're back!'

We turned to see Mitsuba, Shinoa, Kimizuki and Yoichi walking out of the forest, a lot of prey with them. There was about 8 rabbits, 16 mice, 13 voles and 10 sparrows.

'Woah...' Yuu muttered.

'That's whole heap of prey.' Mikaela's jaw dropped.

'How did they get so much?!' I half whispered, half yelled.

'You ready to accept defeat?' Shinoa sneered.

'Like hell.' Yuu replied.

'Alright. Calm down you two-'

I was cut off as four beasts jumped out of the forest, running right for us.

'DOGS!!' I yelped, skidding around to dodge an attack.

'Shinya!' Yuu yelped, running over and digging his teeth in one of the dogs back legs.

The dog howled in pain as it's comrades joined in the fight. One knocked Yuu back, freeing his friend. The others also joined, bitting and clawing at the dogs with full strength. More dogs came and joined the fight. I guess other foxes noticed as they too joined the fight. It was a mess of claws, teeth, fur and blood. That was, till I changed forms. I scared the other foxes off, but, not the dogs. Instead, they actually attack me. The others helped me get rid of them, making them run off with their tails between their legs. I changed back and collapsed on the ground.

'W-what was... that about?' I panted, trying to catch my breath.

'No... idea.' Kimizuki replied, before collapsing as well.

They all collapsed, trying to regain their breath.

'You guys alright?' I asked, sitting up and looking round.

'We are. Can't say the same about Yuu-chan...' Mikaela said, muttering the last part.
