•~Yuu's P.O.V~•

I ran into the forest, afraid of being caught again. I hid behind some trees and looked back, seeing my friends being taken away.

'Not again.' I murmured.

As I was about to move, two furless stared shooting at me. I shrank back down, but not before getting a bullet to my right shoulder. I hissed in pain as I hid, looking for an escape route. As my eyes skimmed across the ground, I saw my exit. I waited, and waited, before finally making my move, running for the bushes that covered the path ahead. More bullets were shot, but the last one hit my back left leg. I fell to the ground, whimpering in pain. But, I stood up, limping away from the furless. As I was out of range of fire, I turned back one last time to see a van driving off, leaving with my friends trapped inside.

'Why did this have to happen again?' I muttered, turning and walking off in the direction of Guren's and Shinya's tree den.

I reached the field where it lay, before collapsing on the ground, falling unconscious.

My eyes shot open as I stood up, fur on end.

'Woah. Calm down. What's got your fur in a knot?'

I turned my head to see Shinya. My fur relaxed down along my spine as I sat down, staring at the silver fox in front of me.

'T-the furless... they've taken the others away.' I stuttered, looking down.

'They what?!' Shinya asked, shock evident in his voice. 'We have to get them back!'

'How, though? Last time was easy as it were only us. Now there's 5 of them. Plus, more twolegged-furless to boot,' I sighed. 'It's gonna be impossible.'

'Not impossible,' Shinya replied, staring at me. 'Just difficult. We can still get them. We just need to find the perfect time.'

'So, what're we standing around for?' Guren asked, coming up behind Shinya. 'You wanna save them, right?'

'Of course!' I yipped, standing up.

'Then let's get going.' Guren said, walking away.

'Right!' Shinya and I replied, running after him.

"Just hang on. We're coming." I thought, running off into forest.

•~Mitsuba's P.O.V~•

'W-where are we?' I asked, bunching up as the van we were in entered a strange place.

'Not sure. But, it doesn't look good.' Kimizuki replied, staring around the room.

'I hope Yuu-kun's alright.' Yoichi murmured.

'Why'd he say, 'not again'? Has he been here before?' Mikaela asked.

'Don't know. Guessing he has.' Shinoa replied.

'Then, if he can find us, he could get us out!' I said.

'That's if he can find us.' Shinoa sighed, laying down.

'Shinoa-san. Of course he'll find us.' Yoichi reassured her.

'Maybe.' Kimizuki muttered.

'Let's just hope for the best, right now.' Mikalea said.

The van stopped and the furless inside got out. They came round the back and took us out.

'Tapes gone.' One said, taking mine and Shinoa's cage.

'...chewed... it.' The other replied, taking Kimizuki's, Yoichi's and Mikaela's cages.

They walked over to a desk and placed us on it, before leaving the room.

'Now what?' I asked, looking at the others.

'Guess we wait.' Yoichi replied, curling up into a ball.

We stayed there and watched as time past on. Nothing happened. No furless came back and no sound could be heard. We just sat in complete silence, waiting for something to happen.

•~Third Person~•

'Change form, now. We'll have to go in through the front door.' Guren ordered, changing into his furless form.

Yuu and Shinya did the same. As Yuu was inexperienced, he had to change into some clothes and hid his ears and tail from view. Once they were ready, they walked over towards a giant white/grey building.

'Excuse me, sirs. No one outside of our lab may come in.' A furless said, stopping the three in their tracks.

'Oh, we work here. See for yourself.' Shinya replied, passing him an ID card.

"What the hell?! We can speak in the furless's language?" Yuu thought, seeing how Shinya casually talked with the furless.

'Ah, sorry about that. Please, go in.' The furless replied, stepping aside.

The three walked past and into the building. Try shut the door behind them and sighed in relief. As they walked down the hall, silence filled the air. The only sound were their shoes.

'We're we going?' Yuu asked, walking side by side with Shinya.

'There is one room in this place that creatures like ourselves are kept. That's were we're going.' He replied, walking faster.

As they neared the room, Guren pulled out a key card. They stopped in front of a door, letting Guren use the card and unlock it. They walked in and saw five cages on a desk. Yuu ran over to see his friends all locked up. Shinya and Guren both came over and they all started to unlock the cages.

'Yes. Finally done.' Yuu breathed, freeing his last friend.

'We're out!' Shinoa yipped.

'I knew you'd come!' Yoichi said, jumping over to Yuu.

'Course I would.' Yuu smiled, catching his friend.

'Let's go before the furless find us-'

Shinya was cut off at the door opened, revealing 6 furless.

'Put them back in the cages and walk over to us.' One ordered, as the others all pulled out a gun each.

'Crap. What do we do?' Yuu asked.

'Duck?' Kimizuki suggested, getting ready to jump.

'I'll open the window. You guys make an escape and we'll find a way out of here, k.' Shinya said, inching closer to the window.

'Don't take another step.' The furless said, raising his hand.

'Three...' Shinya started.

The foxes and wolf all moved a bit closer to the window.

'Two...'

Yuu and Guren got ready to dive.

'One...'

Shinya outstretched his hand.

'NOW!' He yelled, punching the window and diving for cover.

The foxes and wolf all ran out the window and across the field. Guren and Yuu both took cover as a rain of bullets were shot at them.

'Damn. You two! Go find the animals! The rest of you, apprehend those three immediately!' The furless ordered.

They all nodded, two leaving and the over three moving in closer.

'Oh-no...'
