'Hell...' Yuu muttered, collapsing on the ground.

'Sooo... what are we suppose to do?' I asked, sitting down and staring at the raven fox.

'I don't know...' Yuu sighed, rolling onto his back so his legs were in the air.

'What're you doing?' I asked, getting up and walking over to him.

'Something. It's what I do when I don't know what to do.' Yuu replied, waving his legs around.

I looked at him with confusion and curiosity, till I decided to join him. We were waving our legs around in the air for a few minutes till we got tired and bored of it.

'What was the whole dare about anyway?' I asked, sitting up.

'Spending seven minutes in here in furless form... crap...' Yuu said, murmuring the last part.

I tilted my head as he scraped at the ground. He changed forms and sat there, head on hand as he looked around the cave. I also changed forms and looked around.

'Soooooooooooo...' I started.

'Wanna play a game?' Yuu asked.

'What can we play though?'

'Hmm... what about...'

'What?'

'I've got nothing.' Yuu sighed, laying on the ground and staring at the stone ceiling.

'We could pla-'

I was cut off as lightning struck outside. Yuu jumped and grabbed on the closest object he could, that being me.

'Are you alright?' I asked, surprised by his sudden actions.

'Y-yeah. I-I'm jus-'

Lighting struck again, making him tighten his grip around my arm.

'You're afraid of lightning?'

'Y-yeah...'

It struck again, this time making him release his grip on my arm and instead wrapping his arms around my waist, placing his head on my chest.

'Y-Yuu-chan?!' I stuttered, a blush spreading across my face.

The lightning struck again. My arms moved on their own, making me hug Yuu back in a protective way. He trembled as the lightning kept coming. I heard a strange noise in the back of the cave, startling us both. Yuu just kept his face on my chest, hugging me tighter. The noise became louder, and louder. I shut my eyes, bring Yuu closer as the noise got louder still. Then it stopped.

"What the..." I thought, looking up.

I looked around, but the cave was pitch black. I couldn't see a thing. But, out of the blackness, it came. A swarm of bats shot out of the dark, flying above and around Yuu and I. I ducked as one swooped down at me. I managed to stand up, bring Yuu up along with me. We ducked and swerved, doing our best to dodge the flying bats. We finally made our way to the back of the cave as the bats took the front, trying to find a hole to leave. Still hugging, Yuu and I watched as the bats found their exit and left the cave, and us. We sighed and were about to find our own escape route when another bat came out of nowhere, startling us, and making up fall over. I landed on the ground, shutting my eyes, before feeling something soft land on my lips. I opened my eyes to see a blushing Yuu staring down at me. As I processed what happened, my face turned tomato red. Yuu got off and faced away from me. I just lay there, moving my hand to reach my lips. My face went even redder, turning crimson.

'Y-Yuu-chan-'

'Sorry.' Yuu murmured, cutting me off.

I sat up and stared at him, blush fading away. Without knowing what I was doing, I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him back into a hug.

'M-Mika?!' He stuttered, turning crimson red.

I moved my head and place it on his shoulder. More lightning came, once again, scaring Yuu. He turned around and hugged me tight. We sat there, waiting for time pass on. Suddenly, the bolder blocking us from the outside started to move. We let go as it was removed, revealing a few soaked foxes.

'Come on! We're soaking wet out here! We need to hurry back to the den!' Shinoa called, running back into the forest towards the den, the others her following.

'O-ok. Wait up!' I called, running after the foxes.

I was pulled back as Yuu pressed his body against mine, arms making their way around my waist.

'Don't leave me...' he muttered.

'I won't. You don't have to worry.' I replied, placing my hands on his.

He let go, walking to my side. I grabbed his hand and ran out of the cave, dragging him along. We ran and ran, till we finally reached the den. We climbed up the stairs and changed back to our original forms. We collapsed on the ground, regaining our breath.

'So. Did you two have fun~?'

We looked up to see Shinoa smirking down at us. We looked at each other before looking back.

'Like we'd say anything to you.' We replied in unison.

We stood back up and walked across a bridge. We found a spot to sleep and lay down.

'What happen stays between us, okay?' I murmured, placing my head on my paws.

'Okay.' Yuu replied, doing the same.

We closed our eyes, drowning out the sounds around us. The cool breeze guiding us to a peaceful sleep that awaits...
