In the hospital, a fourteen year old girl was laying in the hospital bed surrounded by two people...Lori Loud and her brother Lincoln. They were the only ones to show up to see her since the accident where she was hit by a car as she was chasing down a moving truck. 

"Lori...Is it my fault that Luan's like this?" Lincoln asked. Lori looked at her brother when he asked that. He was the only one out his their entire family to jump into the ambulance when Luan got hit by the car. The only one to show any guilt to what they've done to her unlike the others who couldn't be bothered to see her.

"Look Lincoln...you had no idea that she would get hit by a car. No one did...besides it was an accident." Lori Said.

"But....I had an opportunity to stop the prank and I said nothing. She probably hates me." Lincoln Said as tears started to roll down his face. Lori felt her heart break seeing her little brother like this especially since he blamed himself for the family's mistake. So she did the only thing that could help calm him down...she hugged him. At first, Lincoln was surprised, but he quickly hugged back and sobbed into her shirt while Lori kept telling him that it wasn't his fault that this happened. Hours later...Luan woke up and looked around where she saw her sister Lori staring at her.

"L..Lori? Where am I?" Luan said.

"You're in the hospital. You followed that truck and accidentally got hit by a car." Lori Said.

"Then why are you here? Why aren't you with the others who are probably celebrating that I'm in the hospital?" Luan said.

"I'm here because I realized how wrong I was on agreeing to this prank in the first place. And I'm not the only one who felt guilt on what happened to you." Lori Said as she stepped slightly to the right showing Lincoln sleeping on the couch.

"Lincoln?" Luan said. 

"He blamed himself for what happened to you and even joined me when we went to the hospital. He also thinks that you would start hating him for letting you get hurt." Lori said.

"And the others? Where are they?" Luan asked.

"I don't know and I don't really care. What matters to me is whether or not you're alright Luan. Sigh...I actually had hope that they would show up, but it seems like they had over plans." Lori Said as she tried not to lose her temper. She was so angry at her family for what they've done and almost all of them haven't shown any remorse which is shown by how none of them except for Lincoln went with her to the hospital. Lori started to think back on her life and realized that she needed to be there for her two siblings. Luan was hurt and Lincoln...he was still blaming himself for what has happened. 

"I can't believe that they didn't show up to see me." Luan said as she stared at her hands before Lori placed her own on top of hers.

"Luan...I know that the others not showing up is hurting you, but you shouldn't focus on them. You should focus on those who wanted to see whether our not you're alright. And frankly..the others are dead to me. Which is why...I plan to take you and Lincoln and live somewhere else." Lori Said. 

"What? But the others..." Luan said.

"The others haven't shown any sign of remorse or else they would be here. Look...I know that this is a big decision, but we can't trust the others not to do this sort of thing again. Besides you seen the messed up way that Mom and Dad...no Rita and Lynn Sr. handle our issues. I mean...What kind of parent let's us run wild while only punishing Lincoln? Face it Luan...If we stay with them then we could end up raising our kids the same way that they are." Lori ranted.

"Alright. We'll go. But what about Bobby?" Luan asked.

"Bobby isn't more important than you and Lincoln. Besides I'm sure that Bobby is going to break up with me as soon as he hears what happened to you. Now...I really need to get Lincoln home so Lincoln and I will see you tomorrow." Lori Said as she picked up Lincoln and started to walk out the door. 

"I love you Lori." Luan Said as Lori was almost out the door. Lori stopped walking and turned around and gave Luan a small smile.

"I love you too Luan." Lori Said as she walked out paving the way for a new life did her siblings and herself.
