Part 6 of 18: Escape
This was his chance! He stumbled out of the bed, his legs still shaky from his previous "session". Dragging himself over to the closet, he looked for something that would cover his naked body.
After riffling through much of the clothes, he settled on an oversized black and red sweater, slipping it on. The sweater reached all the way past the small skeleton's knees, his tail peeking out from under it, and he was forced to roll the sleeves up in order for them not to drag.
Then, turning his purple eyelights to the window, he stumbled his way over to it. He undid the little clasp that opened and closed the window, pulling it open as quietly as possible before jumping through.
Landing in the snow, he winced at the cold, but continued to drag himself as quickly as possible away from the house. Although his legs could barely walk, he pushed himself onwards, making small circuits every here and there to confuse anyone off the trail.
Finally, exhausted, he collapsed near the edge of a large boulder. Underneath was a slight hollow just big enough for him to fit. He pulled himself inside, tucking himself into the small crevice whilst shivering from the cold.
...
"-don't care if I miss the meeting!" Papyrus shouted back. "I'll just go next time or something. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to check on my pet. I've just realised I've forgotten to leash him up." He left a fuming Undyne in the living room, going back to his room.
"What..?" The room was empty. He could see a mess of clothes thrown about inside his closet, and the window was open, letting in the snow.
"SANS!!!" Papyrus screamed. He was beyond livid. How could such a thing happen!?
Fell burst into the room. "Yes boss?" His eyes widened as he took in the situation. Oh, this was not good.
"Find my pet, or I'll have your head." Papyrus snarled. Fell flinched. "Y-Yes boss. I'll be back with him soon." He teleported away.
...
Lust shivered, pulling his legs closer to his body. Other than the sweater, he had nothing else on, and it was getting extremely cold. He knew he had to keep moving, but his legs were just too weak.
"Here, kitty kitty kitty!" Lust heard a voice call out. Lust jumped, beginning to shake harder. "Please don't find me, please don't find me, please don't find me." Lust prayed internally, screwing his eye-sockets shut.
"Hello, little kitten." A voice said right next to his head. Lust yelped, jumping hard. He bumped his head on the boulder. Groaning, he rubbed the back of his head, his ears twitching anxiously.
He looked up to see Fell grinning at him. "Careful there." He said with a smirk. Lust only looked back at him with an unamused expression.
"Welp, don't wanna rock your world or anything, but I'm here to take you home." He reached over to pick him up.
Lust twisted out of his grasp. "N-No! I-I.. I can't go b-back. Pl-Please.. don't make me." Lust hiccuped as tears began to pour down from his eye-sockets. He hated crying in front of people, but he just couldn't help it at the mention of returning to that helhole.
Fell blinked, an uncomfortable expression coming across his face. He was not good at dealing with crying people.
"Umm.." Fell stared down at Lust, unsure of what to do. He had to return with Lust. But even Fell had to admit, if he was in Lust's place, he would have to be dragged back, kicking and screaming.
"Look. If I don't come back with you, I'm as good as dead." He absently rubbed the back of his neck. "So.. how about you just, uh, you know, come with me?"
He winced. That was obviously not the thing to say when you're trying to persuade someone to return to their sadistic tormentor. But surprisingly, he could see that Lust's crying had died down a little as he seemed to consider Fell's words.
"Wh-What do you mean, you're as good as dead?" Fell smiled to himself, realising something. This son of a bitch was one of those righteous, little prissies who were all selfless and moral.
There weren't many people like that in UnderFell. To be honest, Fell didn't think he even knew anyone like that. There probably wasn't anyone in the whole of the Underground who thought of others the way Lust did. Fell found himself suddenly more curious about his smaller copy.
