Order

Previously:
It worked. The...akuma?...left and flew back outside the window.

"Thanks, man," I said, walking down to Adrien. "Thought I was doomed."

"Ladybug and Chat Noir would have saved you," Adrien said confidently.

"They've done it before lots of times," Marinette agreed pleasantly.

"Again, really with the weird superhero names?" I said incredulously. "I mean-come on!"

"What's wrong with 'Ladybug?'" Marinette asked, her tone raising a little in indignation. "Or Chat Noir?"

"If I tell you, you would hate me," I said shortly.

"Percy," Adrien admonished but a smile hid behind his mock scowl. "It's better than Fire Lord."

"Hey!" I pointed a finger at him. "That's not what we're talking about."

"Fire Lord?" Marinette quested, looking from me to Adrien.

"It was..." Adrien started, eyes darting to me for help.

"A code name so he could talk to me at his house with out his father knowing too much," I finished. "We don't use it anymore. Don't need to."

The rest of the day went smoothly. Until after school. I was just about to follow Adrien into the car-I mean limo-when a car came out of no where and landed in front of the car. Two heads (mine included) snapped in the direction the car came flying from.

"I will have order!" A crazy lady dressed in a black suit that went up to cover her face. Except for the shape of the eyes, (for she had none) she had a full on Spider-Man mask. "Chaos is not allowed!" She slapped a hand on the red clipboard she was holding. A bright violet light shot out at a person across the street who froze in their spot.

"I left my phone inside," Aiden said hurriedly to his driver. He slammed the door and ran back to the building (somehow that changed to chocolate when I was typing this up) with me not too far behind. He didn't notice me with him until we got inside the doors. "What are you doing?"

"I'm gonna help," I said, as if it were obvious.

"No you're not, go to the limo, you'll be safe with Gorilla," Adrien protested.

No sooner had he said that, an explosion sounded from behind the doors. We peaked out to see the limo impaled by a motorcycle and Gorilla standing to the side scratching his head. Safer with Gorilla, my butt.

"We're wasting time!" I called in a sing song voice as I started running off.

After giving in and following me to the bathrooms, Plagg came out.

"You've got a way to fight akumas, kid?" He asked.

"Not a kid," I snapped. "Yeah, I have a way to fight, I'm a son of Poseidon and Hestia. I have water and fire powers."

"Sweet," Adrien said.

"Don't we have an akumatized super villain to catch?" I reminded them.

"Right," Adrien shook out of his stupor. "Plagg, claws out!"

*a transformation sequence later*

"Really?" I said. This realm was beginning to be too much.

"What?" Adrien now Chat Noir questioned. How could he see no problem with what just happened?

Shaking my head, I changed my clothes to a skin tight, spandex. It was bright blue because why the Hades not? Then I created a mask just like Marinette's and Adrien's but the same color as my suit. The style of my suit was not unlike Chat's without the tail only, I had a sheath at my side holding Riptide. My boots were also different; they were higher and looked like Roman shin guards.

"Let's go," Chat said excitedly, racing out of the building.

"He's way too excited for this," I muttered as I followed him.

The second we were out, Chat Noir was leaping over the roof tops in the direction of the chaos being made by Oder.

Ironic.

Alright, fine, I thought to myself, watching Chat leap away. Let's do this. I started running at the building across the street and jumped.

"This was a bad idea," I said out loud just as I slammed into the wall. I groaned once before falling flat on my back.

I arrived on scene only a little bit out of breath. "What's the plan?" I asked, coming up next to Chat Noir and Ladybug.

There were cars flying in all directions, and flashes of bright violet lights being shot at people.

"Who are you?" Ladybug questioned, taking a few steps away.

"This is..." Chat was at loss.

"Fire Lord," I said just to see if she would figure it out. At the rate everyone has been going lately, I doubted it.

Chat looked at me in nervous surprise.

Ladybug looked at me closely. "That seems familiar," she paused, then, "Percy?"

I threw up my hands. "I give up," I said loudly. How does she recognize me but not her partner/crush? "The people living in this universe are so blind!"

"What?" Both Chat and Ladybug asked me flatly.

I sighed. "Never mind, let's just take care of this crazy lady."

"I am not crazy!" Order yelled. "I am Order!"

"Says the lady throwing around cars!" Chat said before turning to Ladybug. "After you, My Lady."

I swear, I saw hearts in his eyes.

"Are we in agreement that her akuma appears to be in her clipboard?" Ladybug asked, spinning her yo-yo to shield against the violet lights.

"It appears that way," I said before Chat could say or do something too mushy. "How are we going to get it?"

Marinette-I mean Ladybug looked thoughtful for a few seconds. Her hand holding her chin and looking after Order, analyzing her movements. "I don't know," she answered.

"Let's try-watch out!" Chat Noir was interrupted by a large empty bus flying our way. "Cataclysm!" I felt rather than saw a dark power gather in his hand and emit a dark glow.

Next thing I knew, he had touched the bus as it came flying right at us. Immediately, the bus turned to ash.

I couldn't wait anymore, so I raced at the lady with Riptide drawn. I was interested to see if Celestial Bronze would work on a butterfly monster.

"Who are you?" Order asked, leaping out of the way of my sword.

"My name is Fire Lord," I answered simply. I saw the sword go through her before she got out of the way. No way that is going to work. It's a good thing she didn't seem to feel a thing. "Not so nice to meet you."

"If you are with Ladybug and Chat Noir, the feeling is mutual," the lady in black nearly growled. A glowing butterfly outline appeared over her eyes and she frowned. "What Miraculous are you holding?"

"Chat, you didn't tell me this Hawk-guy had some weird way of talking to his victims!" I called over my shoulder, ignoring the question. I kept taking half hearted swings at her, keeping her occupied for the time being so people weren't getting hit by the light.

"I'm not a victim!" Order protested.

"Mm-hmm," I huffed disbelievingly. "Chat!"

"Didn't think about it," Chat Noir said, leaping out of now where behind Order, ready to bash the clipboard or the lady unconscious. Unfortunately, she ducked in time not to have a knot the size of the Eiffel Tower on her head.

"Well, no wonder he's always a step ahead of you," I said off handedly.

"You will give me your Miraculous'!" Order shouted, pointing her clipboard at Chat Noir and slamming it with her other hand.

The repetitive violet light shot out of the end and right at the black cat. Then, right before my eyes, he straightened up stiffly like a toy soldier. Saluting Order, he then froze where he was.

Order cackled joyfully. "I would say give me your Miraculous but I need you to get Ladybug's and that new guy's first," she said, motioning with her hands towards Ladybug and I.

"Fire Lord!" I said even as Order flew away on a conveniently flying by plane.

"What now?" Ladybug asked.

I turned to her only so see her looking at me expectantly. "Don't look at me! I just came here from a different dimension!"

Ladybug did a double take. "Really?" she asked.

I was about to answer but Chat came out of no where to knock her over. They slid down the street, grappling at each other's hands. Ladybug didn't budge while Chat grabbed at her Miraculous. Which I assumed to be her earrings.

Wasting no time, I dashed over and pulled Chat away. "We've got to find a way to restrain him until we get rid of Order's akuma," I said, looking around. "D'you have any duct tape?"

"Get his belt," was all Ladybug said before running off.

I threw up my hands. "You mean his tail?" Shaking my head, I ran at Chat and held his arms down.

"Give me your Miraculous!" Chat shouted in a robotic voice. Then he must have realized something because he stopped for a second. "Where is your Miraculous?"

"Dude, you know this, I don't have one."

"Oh," Chat seemed at loss as to what actions to take now. Then, "will you help me get Ladybug's?"

I gave him a look, like he had lost his mind. Releasing him, I took a step back to analyze him better. His eyes were glossed over with violet, no longer the green cat eyes and his face was emotionless. I guess my thought wasn't too far off the truth; he has lost control over his mind.

While he was distracted by waiting for my answer, my arm snapped out and snatched his 'belt'. Then, dropping the tail, I grabbed his arms to keep him still while I waited for Ladybug.

"Hey!"

"Lucky Charm!" Ladybug had thrown up her yo-yo in the air only to receive a roll of ladybug printed duct tape.

I must have been giving her a weird look because she said, "It was faster than going to look for some."

I just shrugged and kicked over the 'belt'. "I'll hold him, you tie him up," I said simply.

Almost five minutes and three near escapes on Chat's part and one near reveal on Ladybug's part later:

"That was easy," I said happily, watching Ladybug run off so she can recharge or something. Hardly sparing Chat a glance, I took off after her.

"Easy?" Ladybug yelled from the ally as a bright pink light flashed for a second. That must mean she's Marinette again. "Chat Noir almost saw who I was! And you-don't come around the corner!"

I froze where I was, caught off guard by her order (hahaha). "Why? Are you decent?"

"I just-yes!" Marinette sputtered for a few seconds. "It's just that you'll see who I am!"

"But I already know who you are..." I said slowly.

"What?"

"You're Marin-"

"STOP!"

"What?" I asked exasperatedly.

"How do you know?" She asked, coming out from around the corner.

I stared at her in disbelief. "Seriously?" I said. She didn't answer. "How could I not? It's so obvious!"

"How?" She asked, sharing a look with her kwami thing.

"Same hair style, eye color, build, attitude, voice, face shape-should I continue?" I listed off. "And then there's Chat Noir! Granted his eyes and hair actually change a little when he undergoes that ridiculous and time consuming transformation but still-"

"You know Chat's identity?" Marinette interrupted.

"Well, yeah, I've been hanging out with him since I arrived in this dimension," I said as if it was obvious. Really, everything in this realm is obvious except for when these two would get together.

Marinette looked confused now. "Who's that-Wait! Don't tell me! We have to go get the akuma."

I threw up my hand and rolled my eyes. Turning to the floating red kwami, I sighed, "How do you handle their obliviousness?"

She didn't get a chance to answer because in the next second, Marinette yelled, "Tiki, Spots on!"

*transformation sequence later*

"You too?"

Then Ladybug was running on rooftops and I was running behind. On the ground.

"Where's Chat Noir?" Order asked. "Never mind, if I need a job done right, I'll have to do it myself!" With that, the insane super villain started running right at us.

"What's the plan, here, Bug-Lady?" I asked nervously as Order got closer but Ladybug still hadn't moved.

"Why is your suit blue if you're called 'Fire Lord?'" Order shrieked. "It should be red!"

Next thing I knew, she was pointing her clipboard at me and my suit was turning red.

"Hey!" I protested. "It's blue because I like the color. Also, I can do this!" The familiar tug in my gut was followed by the sound of the pipes bursting. I guided the water in the lady's direction and told it to hold her down.

"Your name is Fire Lord but you have water powers?" Order looked about ready to hyperventilate.

"And fire powers," I added helpfully.

"B-but th-that's...chaotic!" She shrieked. "That shouldn't be possible!"

"Say, do you know why you drive in a parking lot but park in a drive way?"

"N-no!"

"Or why we bake cookies but cook bacon?"

"Stop!" The mask appeared again and she asked, "Where did you come from?"

"Here and there," I said casually. "Not staying long."

"Good," she was obviously relieved. Then she started struggling. "Let me go!"

"As soon as we do this," Ladybug snatched up the clipboard and broke it over her thigh. The same purple looking demon butterfly fluttered out of the broken pieces but before it could go very far, Ladybug unstrung her yo-yo. "Time to de-evil-ize!"

"Here we go," I slumped. Does everything in this realm have to be a show?

Ladybug caught the akuma and not a second later, released it. "Bye-bye little butterfly!" We watched the bug fly away for a few seconds, Ladybug relaxing now that it was over. "Let's go to Chat," she said, taking off.

"How are we going to clean up this mess?" I called but she was already gone. Sighing, I jogged after her, barely making it in time to see her rip off the duct tape from his hands and grab the rest of the roll.

I was about to ask her what she was doing when she-"Miraculous Ladybug!"-threw it in the air.

Next thing I knew, the mess as gone in a cloud of ladybugs and Chat Noir and Ladybug were fist pounding.

"Great job, guys!" I said, clapping my hands. "I say we get some blue cookies now."

"Blue cookies?" Ladybug asked, confused.

"It's a weird obsession he has," Chat Noir said, waving his hand. "But he has a point. We should get something to celebrate. I know this great bakery, it's-"

"Let's go see Master Fu!" Ladybug said quickly. "We go out of our suits then transform when we get there."

Chat Noir lit up. "Cool! Meet there in ten?"

"I'll give you a five minute head start," Ladybug said. "We don't want to be there at the same time."

"Correct as always, My Lady! What would I do with out you?"

My hand flew up to slap my face.

"You'd be caught with your claws off, that's what," Ladybug said, pointing to his ring, which now had one spot of green on it's face.

"Cat-ch you later, My Lady!" He bowed ad took off around the corner, shouting, "This way, Fire Lord!"

"Sea you later Miss Dupain-Cheng!" I said, winking before taking off after Chat Noir.

I turned the corner, transformed back into Percy ad started walking before I realized Adrien had froze right by the corner. "What is it?"

Plagg peaked out of Adrien's cardigan. "He heard you call Ladybug 'Miss Dupain-Cheng.'"

"Oh," I said. "I should have seen that coming."

We stood in silence for a few seconds.

"D'you need to sit down or...?"

"He'll be fine," Plagg said in amusement.

"Ladybug is Marinette Dupain-Cheng?" Adrien whispered in amazement.

"Is that a problem?" I asked.

"Problem?" Adrien stated. "Problem? Yeah, it's a problem! Marinette Dupain-Cheng is objectively the most popular girl at school! Everyone's had a crush on her at least once. She's face down akumas with out the suit! She designed an album cover for JAGGED STONE-I asked for her autograph!"

Plagg was finding it difficult to hid his sniggers.

"She's even more amazing with out the suit, I don't stand a chance-Plagg, stop laughing, this is a crisis. What do I do?"

"Chill, dude, it's not that bad," I said.

"Not. That. Bad?" The blond was now staring at me in disbelief. "How?"

"You don't know?"

"Of course he doesn't."

"Shut up, Plagg," Adrien said. "You're not helping.

"She likes you," I stated. "Is it not as obvious as I think it is?"

"Oh, it's obvious," Plagg assured me. "He's just really blind."

"Plagg!" Adrien dropped his head into his hands. "What am I going to do now that I know it's her?"

I shrugged. "Tell her."

"She won't accept that," Adrien countered. "She's been the one to say no all this time to telling each other who we are."

"Don't know what to tell you, kid," I said unsympathetically.

"She's going to know something's up," Adrien continued. "She doesn't miss much."

"Other than the fact that you are her crush," Plagg commented dryly.

Adrien sighed and plopped right down by the wall.

"What is it?" I asked, lowering myself next to him.

"It's just..." he paused and rubbed his eyes. "Marinette just got a whole lot cooler. And I don't know what to do with that information because she was already cool before."

I didn't know how to help him there so I just stayed silent and let him think. A few seconds later, he scoffed.

"It was right in front of me," he said. "She acted so much the same and I didn't even see it. The same caring, brave, loving and talented girl and I didn't even make the connection."

"Hey," I said, slapping Adrien on the back. "Don't beat yourself up about it. Now that you know, do something about it."

"Like what?"

"Act like Chat as Adrien around Marinette," I said with a mischievous smile. "Make puns! Flirt, be your normal, sappy self!"

"Good idea!" Plagg exclaimed. "Then you can get together and I can have more Camembert!"

"How do you figure that?" I asked, confused from his logic. That is, until he explained it.

"Marinett's parents own a bakery," Plagg started. "What goes better together than bread and cheese?"

🐞            🐞

We had taken longer than estimated to get to the massage place that was apparently where Master Fu lived. We arrived after Marinette did and with one of us slightly panicky.

"I don't know if I can do this, guys," Adrien whispered as we entered the lobby.

"Kid, you got this," Plagg said, coming out of his hiding spot. "Just think of Camembert and act normally."

I just pat his shoulder and gave him a reassuring smile. It was so tempting to push him through the doors we were waiting outside of. I wonder what would have happened.

Then it was too late because Adrien transformed and entered the room.

"Sorrry I was late, My Lady, I had a bit of a claw-tastrophie," Chat said with out missing a beat.

Ladybug rolled her eyes. "Chat, really?"

"Purrfectly serious, My Lady," the blond said with a bow and a wink.

"Is this the young hero you were telling me about, Ladybug?" A short, very old dude interrupted Chat's pun streak.

"Yes, he called himself Fire Lord," Ladybug answered.

"Percy Jackson at your service," I bowed at the waist, smirking.

"Ladybug tells me you are from another realm," Master Fu said, smirking.

"Yup," I nodded. "If you have any questions, fire away."

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Ladybug's hand slap her face and heard Chat snigger.

"Which one?" Master Fu asked.

"The one were the Greek myths are very much real. And the Egyptian and Norse."

"Interesting," Master Fu said, stroking his beard. "I take it you are a part of these myths in some way?"

I nodded. "I am a demigod. My biological dad is Poseidon, god of the seas. I was also adopted by the Greek goddess of the hearth, Hestia."

"Quite the contradictory pair," Master Fu commented. "What brings you here?"

I pause, unsure how to answer this question. "I left because I had to get away from...her. So I could heal. I can't forget. She made sure I wouldn't. So now I am searching the realms for a cure to my curse."

"Oh, Percy," Ladybug said sympathetically.

Chat just looked from me to Ladybug nervously.

I smiled. "My curse will not be yours, Chat, keep trying. She is bound to give in sometime."

"How many have you been to?" Master Fu asked.

"Uh..." I had to think about that. "Only three so far, including this one."

"Why do you leave them?" Chat asked. "Isn't it awesome being in a different dimension?"

"It is," I assured him. "Except, demigods have a certain scent that attracts monsters. The longer I stay, the more come. And you are not equipped to fight these monsters."

"Why not?" Ladybug inquired.

"They can only be killed by Celestial Bronze," I indicated my sword. "In fact, I think I stayed too long. I should go now."

Master Fu nodded. "That would be wise."

"Bye, Percy!" Ladybug said, giving me a hug. "Thanks for your help."

"Yes," Chat agreed, giving me a look. "Thank you."

"Say bye to Plagg for me," I smiled, heading for the door. Then, just before I stepped through, I called, "Bye, Adrien, Bye Marinette!"

"Percy!" Was all I heard as I was falling again.

🐞            🐞

I woke to a pain in my ankle. I must have twisted it when I fell through the portal. I remembered falling roughly through trees before being knocked out by a rock. Shakily, I tried standing, only to fall on my face. It was then I realized I was in a different form...again.

Twisting around, I tried getting a good look. All I saw where black furred paws and a bushy tail with a grey streak. Am I a...dog?

No. I was too big to be a normal dog.

I am now a wolf.

Wonderful.

A huff of exasperation escaped me and I let myself sag to the earth. I was too tired and in pain to go exploring right now.

"Hello?"

My ears perked at the new noise and I lifted my head.

"Who's there?" It was a familiar young girl's voice that I could not quite place.

I let out a whimper so they would be able to find me.

A rustle of leaves and light footsteps then I suddenly saw a face I did not realize I had missed.

"Aww," she let out before dropping next to me and running her fingers through my fur.

You won't be saying that when you realize who I am, I thought with a mental snigger. I now have blackmail.

"You will be coming with me," Thalia said, picking me up with a surprising amount of ease. "We will fix you right up."
