[40] I dont like her
"He's been avoiding him for the past few days," I huffed to Tre eating the bowl of cereal in front of me. He sat across from me on the table, I had managed to leave the room without waking Billie up. And mike was still asleep.
"He's angrier for you than himself y'know,"
"Yeah," I sighed. "I know. I mean I'm obviously a little angry but I don't want there to be so much tension in the house like there is now,"
"Yeah, you and me both," Tre laughed lightly as he picked up and placed his empty bowl into the sink behind him. "I need to go wake up Billie and mike,"
"You do?" I asked.
"Yeah, we have to head to the studio today don't we,"
"What studio?" I questioned confused.
"Billie hasn't told you?"
"No? What are you on about?"
"We're heading to some sort of studio today, the guy we met when we played that gig will be there and we're starting another album,"
"Really!" I squealed as I stood up from the table. Tre nodded smiling. "That's great!" I quickly moved over to him throwing my arms around him happily. He hugged me back tight, obviously excited too.
After I pulled away from the hug Billie lazily walked his way into the room rubbing his eyes. His red hair a mess like it usually was once he woken up. And stood in his boxers.
"Why didn't you wake me up?" He asked me confused as he stopped rubbing his left eye and made his way over to me.
"You was peacefully sleeping, I didn't want to,"
"I'm gonna go get mike up," Tre said to us as we nodded to him and he left the room and made his way upstairs.
"I wouldn't of minded if it was you waking me up," Billie smiled as he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him. "It's if it was Mike or Tre I'd punch,"
I laughed slightly leaning my forehead on his. "You never told me you were starting up a new album,"
"I did, you weren't listening,"
"What was I doing?"
"Trying to sleep,"
I laughed as I pushed him away gently as he removed his hands from my waist and I picked up my bowl of the table and placed it gently in the sink. "That's cause you always speak nonsense to me when I try to sleep,"
"Well, not so much nonsense now is it?" He smirked as he walked over behind me and once again wrapped his arms around me.
"Why are you being so close today?" I laughed cleaning off the bowl.
"Because I love you,"
"What have you done?" I asked him seriously as I spun around to look at him, he didn't move his hands from my waist though.
"...nothing."
"What have you done?"
"Nothing..."
"Billie,"
"I accidentally broke the lamp,"
"What!?" I said as I moved out of his arms and began to walk up the stairs as he followed behind me trying to explain.
"I didn't mean to! I was trying to grab my phone and I accidentally knocked it off,"
I ignored him as I went straight into mine and his room to see the lamp broken on the floor, he stood beside me as I looked over at him.
"Sorry..." he muttered.
I couldn't even stay mad. As much as I wanted to, I couldn't help but smile.
"Why are you smiling?" He asked me confused.
"Because you're an idiot," I shook my head.
"Well yeah, but I'm a sorry idiot,"
"You can buy a new lamp,"
"I will! I will!"
~
Tre was driving us all down to the studio, I was just simply tagging along since I didn't want to be left at the house all by myself.
Mike sat at the front, and me and Billie sat in the back. And as you can guess, Billie and Mike were still not talking to each other. Billie was still angry, and mike hadn't tried to say anything else since I took Billie upstairs yesterday.
No one really spoke in the car either, not even Tre. He was focusing on driving it seemed. And I didn't know what to say to kill the silence. And I honestly don't think anyone wanted me to.
It was a long boring ride, not even the radio was turned on. Before Tre pulled up into a big building, I looked out the window and up to it. And then we all got out of the car as we walked into the building. Still yet no one was speaking.
We walked in before a man approached us, he looked familiar.
"There you boys are!" He happily Cheered as he walked over to the four of us. "And who's this?" He smiled, looking over at me.
"That's Billies Girlfriend," Tre told him before anyone else could. "Her names Marsha,"
"Well hello Marsha, I don't think I met you at the concert?"
"No," I said back awkwardly, "I was watching in the crowd as they played, and then I came backstage,"
"Well come on!" He said clapping his hands to us all, "let's get you three into the studio,"
He turned around and began to stroll away, he seemed pretty happy and chirpy. But the rest of us right now we're pretty much annoyed.
He walked us into a huge studio, and we all took a seat on spiny chairs as whatever his name began to explain to Tre, Billie and mike.
I, being completely useless to the information he was giving, was looking around the studio.
There were instruments, like guitars, hung up, keyboards, computers and Tv screens, boards with buttons, switches and dials on, and then there was another section where I'm guessing Billie, mike and Tre would stay in.
Behind the glass, there were a few microphones up, a stool or two, headphones and that was really it. That little room was pretty much empty.
"And here's Britney coming in," the person speaking to mike, Tre and Billie said. I turned my head over to them as the door to the studio opened. And a blonde girl walked in.
"Who's Britney?" Mike asked confused.
"She'll be working in the studio with you guys, recording the songs and whatnot," he explained.
I looked at her closely, up and down. Trying to figure out if she was a threat or not.
She had long, long blonde hair. Blue eyes, light blue jeans on and a pink sweater.
The three boys looked over at her as she smiled. "Hi," her voice was softly spoken, and her tone seemed quite happy.
"This is mike," the man introduced pointing over to mike, "Tre," he shifted his finger over to point at Tre, "and Billie,"
"Hi, guys,"
"Hi," they all said back in unison.
Did I not get an introduction?
"Oh and this is Marsha," he added.
Finally.
"That's billies girlfriend,"
"Hi Marsha," she sweetly smiled over to me.
I forced a smile, "Hi,"
After the man left, and I found out he did own a name: Jake. Billie, Tre and Mike walked through a door behind the glass as Britney and I sat in front of the board full of switches, buttons and dials.
I won't lie, I was sort of jealous. I kinda wanted to go home, but my ride home was Tre.
They recorded somethings, as I sat there in my seat quietly sulking to myself.
I didn't like her, I swear she had a thing for Billie. She laughed at everything she said, half of it wasn't even funny. I think Billie could tell I was jealous too, he kept looking over at me and mouthing the words 'you okay?' And I just nodded every time, sometimes rolling my eyes and looking away.
"That's it for today," Britney spoke through the microphone to the three boys as she pressed the button, "you can all come back in here now,"
They all nodded taking off the big headphones and placing them back down on the stools as they walked back in.
"How long were we in there for?" Mike asked as he walked out first.
"A few hours," Britney answered.
"Did we do well?" Tre questioned.
She quickly nodded, "yes you guys did awesome,"
"Can we go yet?" I blurted out. They all looked at me, the annoyance in me was seeping through my tone of voice.
No one spoke for a second or two after I had asked if we could go until Britney out of everyone decided to.
"Yeah, you guys are ready to go now if you want,"
"Yeah," Mike nodded, "c'mon then,"
"Alright," Tre said pulling the car keys out his back pocket.
"See you tomorrow," Britney smiled to them.
Tomorrow? They're coming here tomorrow too?
"Bye Brit," Billie said as he walked out, the rest of us followed him as we left the studio.
Brit?
We left the building and got into Tre's car.
"You guys are going there tomorrow too?" I asked, my voice was still annoyed.
Mike clicked his seat belt on in the seat up front before he turned to me. "Yeah, we have to go here like... nearly every day,"
"What!?"
"It's for the album Marsha," Billie said beside me. "We gotta work hard for it,"
Tre started the car.
"I didn't realise you guys would be gone every day,"
"Well, not every day," Mike corrected himself.
"But near enough every day," Tre stated.
I grunted loudly in the back seat as I slouched down in the seat.
"What's wrong?" Billie asked me.
"I don't like her,"
"Who?" Tre asked.
"Britney."
"She seems nice," Mike shrugged.
"She seems flirty,"
"She's not flirty she's just friendly," Billie told me.
"There's a fine line between flirty and friendly and she's crossing that line."
"Sounds like... someone's jealous to me,"
"Shut up Billie, I'm not jealous,"
"Sounds it," he teased as he poked me lightly in my rib cage.
I flinched quickly and sat up trying not to laugh as I covered where he had pocked me with my hand. "I'm not jealous, she doesn't bother me,"
"If she doesn't bother you why don't you like her?" Mike asked.
I guess he kinda caught me out there. I didn't have anything to say to that, I sat up with my mouth open ready to say some smart ass comment, but nothing came out so I sat back in my chair and closed my mouth. "Shut up," I mumbled.
"While we all our finally talking," Tre said after a moment. "Can you both figure out this argument?"
Referring to Billie and Mike they both looked over at him.
"I'm not in the wrong," Billie mumbled.
"Well neither am I," Mike replied.
"You slept with a girl that you broke up with and supposedly didn't like mike!"
"I realised I was wrong!"
"What so was it just a one-night thing or are you guys seeing each other again?"
"I-" Mike paused, then sighed. "I don't know,"
