[37] your Druggie boy

"Guys it came it came it came!" Tre shouted as he ran into mine and billies room and began jumping on our bed waking the both of us up, with something in his hand.

"Tre!" I shouted sitting up, Billie sat next to me rubbing his eyes. He was shirtless and very confused.

"It came Beej!" Mike shouted as he jumped up and joined Tre jumping on the bed.

"What came!" He shouted.

"The album!" Tre shouted back as he stopped jumping and held a record sleeve in his hand containing a vinyl inside.

"No way!" Billie said jumping up and standing on the bed with them.

"I know you're all really excited," I said looking up at the three boys stood on the bed. "But can we have this discussion on the floor!"

"Oh shit, right," Mike said jumping onto the floor.

"Sorry marshy..." Tre said joining mike with the album still in his hands. Billie got off as well. "Anyway look!!"

I got up out of bed as I joined the three of them looking at what Tre was holding. It was green days first ever album and it was right here in front of me.

"You guys didn't tell me you already released the album!" I shouted looking at them.

"It was a surprise." Billie smiled. I pulled him quickly into a hug as I hugged Tre and mike after to happy for them.

"So this is out? Like everyone can grab themselves one of these and listen to it?"

"Well right now this is the only version," Tre said referring to the album in his hand. "But next week is when it comes out officially."

"No way!" I smiled. "This is so amazing! Can we put it on?"

"Why wouldn't we!" Mike shouted as he snatched it out of Tre's hand. He ran down the stairs with it as we all followed him. He placed it into the vinyl player as the first song began to start.

We danced, we sang, we laughed, we fake cried, and once the whole album had played. We were left in the living room just stood in silence.

"Marsha," Billie whispered beside me.

"Yeah?"

"Can we go skate or something? I'm getting bored of listening to myself."

"How do you think the rest of us feel," I laughed, he pushed me sightly, "just playing Beej, you wanna skate?"

"Yeah, just me and you this time."

"Sure." I shrugged. "We can grab my skateboards and head to the skatepark?"

"Yeah."

So me and Billie headed back upstairs as Billie put on a top and his jeans. I pulled out the box from under the bed which held the skateboards in it as he did, and pulled the two out.

We left the house and reached the skatepark. No one was actually here apart from one guy who was trying to do a trick Over there. He was faced away from us, but he wore a black cap and had brown messy hair.

Billie got on the skateboard as he started skating around a bit and so did I.

"Man I gotta get myself my own skateboard," he said as we skated past each other.

"Yeah, then you can stop using mine," I teased.

"Well until then,"

"Until then you can use mine when I let you," I said.

"I'll push you off that skateboard." He said.

"Try it."

He jumped off and picked up the skateboard as he ran over to me, I quickly jumped off to picking mine up as he chased me around. We ran around for a moment until I felt myself bump into someone.

I looked up quickly to see I had bumped into the back of the dude who had been doing tricks earlier. He turned around.

"Fuck, I am so sorry," I said apologising as I picked my board up from the floor. "Are you okay?"

He looked at me for a second. Like he was thinking. What was he staring at? I said sorry.

"Hello?" I said confused, I waved a hand in front of his face as I heard Billie laugh behind me.

"Marsha?" He said.

"Erm, yeah. How do you know my name?" I asked him more confused.

"You don't remember me? It's me mason."

"Oh my god, it is!" I said as I hugged him. I felt him hug me back tighter. I hadn't seen him in years. He pulled away from hugging me and looked me up and down.

"Oh my god look! You're so much different than when I last saw you!" He said with his hands on my shoulders.

"I am?"

"Yes! Still as short though."

I pushed him playfully as he laughed.

"How have you been since I last saw you?" I asked him.

"I'm great, I see you still skate then?" He asked looking down at my board.

"I do!"

"You got a new board? What happened to ollie?" He asked.

(Real life name of my skateboard. It's genius don't judge.)

I laughed remembering the name I had called the board Billie was holding. I named it thinking I was being super smart since ollie is a skateboard trick and a name.

"I still have ollie!" I said quickly as I turned around to Billie. Who looked really pissed off as he held the board in his hands. I pointed to the board Billie held ignoring his scowling face.

"Damn, he looks so worn out. No wonder you have a new one." Mason commented. "Hey who's this?" He asked referring to Billie.

"This is my boyfriend," I said as I pulled Billie beside me. "His name is Billie, Billie this is mason."

"Hi," Billie muttered annoyed.

"Hi Billie," mason smiled widely. Obviously not realising how much Billie already did not like him.

"Just ignore him, he's in a mood," I said to mason.

"Yeah, cause I'm in a mood because-" Billie muttered to himself walking off. I wasn't really able to hear what he said in the last part.

"Is he okay?" Mason asked me confused.

"Yeah, he's just a little moody today I guess." I laughed.

"How come?"

"I don't know," I said. "Probably hasn't had his weed in a while." I joked. I watched as masons face dropped.

Oh, shoot I forgot.

"Weed?" He asked me.

We use to say how stupid weed and other drugs were when we were younger. Masons probably still never smoked a cigarette. He used to fall out with anyone who did. I mean- I use to like that about him because i thought that meant he was a good guy. Because obviously, I use to think people who did drugs were complete loons and needed to get their life together. But actually, I started smoking a cigarette from Time to Time. Then when I realised Billie did weed, I wasn't put off. And the first time I was ever stoned was with him. Weed wasn't as bad as I use to think.

"Erm yeah..."

"You're telling me your boyfriends a druggie?" He asked me.

"Hey! Don't say that!" I said pissed off. "My boyfriend is not a druggie."

"Have you ever smoked weed with him,"

"Well.... yeah. A few times."

"You're kidding." He said bluntly.

"No? It's not that bad mason."

"Hey, are you two finished yet!" Billie shouted over at us annoyed.

"Your druggie boy wants you." He scoffed.

"He's not a fucking druggie you dick!"

"How am I the dick?"

"There's nothing wrong with weed, and it doesn't at all make you a druggie for smoking it."

"You're not the girl I left behind when I moved." He spat.

"And y'know what. Thank god for it." I turned on my heels as I walked over to Billie. "Come on we're going," I said bluntly as I walked past him. He quickly picked up his, well my, board as he jogged next to me.

"What's with you?" He asked confused.

I knew I had to wait till we got home to tell him mason called him a druggie. Or else he would have gone back for him. And that's the last thing I needed.

Once we got inside we walked in to hear that Tre and mike had been putting their album on for repeat.

"What you guys listening to?" I asked pretending not to know. Although I was annoyed. I was not the person to take it out on others. Mike and Tre were so lovable and goofy you couldn't take it out on them even if you were the type of person to do that.

"I don't know but it's shit." Mike shrugged jokingly.

Tre pushed him. "Hey, don't diss our music like that!"

Billie dropped the skateboard at the door as he went straight upstairs. Tre and mike looked at me confused.

"What's with him?" Tre asked.

"You'll never guess who we bumped into." I sighed placing down my skateboard too as I joined them in the living room.

"Who?" They both asked curiously in unison. Mike making his way into the kitchen for whatever reason.

"Mason."

"The guy who taught you to skate?" Mike shouted from the kitchen as he opened the fridge.

"The guy you use to like!?" Tre asked.

I nodded. "That's the guy."

Mike walked back into the living room tossing me and Tre a can of beer before sitting down on the floor.

"So Billie got jealous?" He asked.

"Yeah, that was the problem at first," I said.

"Oh god, what was the problem after that?" Tre asked.

"Well. Mason was nice to Billie and Billie walked off. And then I was having a conversation with Mason and made a weed joke sorta-"

"-wait can we hear the weed joke?" Tre asked butting into my explanation like a child.

"I said Billie was moody cause he hadn't got his weed."

"That's not a weed joke," Tre said.

"Tre! Shut up!"

"Sorry."

"Anyway, and then I remembered that me and mason use to hate weed when we were younger. Because we were against it and thought it turned you into some type of demon or something. Then obviously he left and I met you guys and obviously, there were times when I joined in. And then mason asked me if I had ever done it. So I said yeah, and then he started calling Billie a Druggie, saying I had a druggie as a boyfriend and referring to him as my-" I used air quotes "-my druggie boy."

Both their faces dropped.

"Did Billie hear him?" Mike asked surprised.

"No, he was probably in his own little world to realise I was arguing with mason. So then anyway I walked away and dragged Billie with me. And now he's still being jealous."

"Damn, are you gonna tell him mason called him a druggie?" Tre asked me.

"I don't know, should I?"

Tre spoke up. "Yes."

"No," Mike said.

"Well he has a right to know," Tre added looking over at mike.

"Yeah, but if he finds out he called him a druggie he'll kill the guy." Mike protested.

"So what do I do?" I asked.

"Whatever you think," Mike shrugged.

"Tell him," Tre whispered. Mike shoved him as I got up off the sofa placing my can on the table as I headed upstairs to see Billie.

I noticed as I reached upstairs the door was shut, so I knocked.

"Bill it's me, can I come in?"

"Sorry I don't know a me." He said still with an unimpressed tone.

"Even while you're being moody you can still be sarcastic?" I asked sort of laughing.

"Mhm."

I rolled my eyes as i opened the door. Billie was sat on the bed with his phone in his hand. I walked over as I plopped myself next to him on the bed.

"What ya doing?"

"Nothing." He said bluntly.

"What you looking at on your phone?"

"Nothing."

"Nothing interesting?"

"No."

"Billie," I sighed giving up. "Why are you being like this. Is this really over mason?"

"Well, how am I suppose to act when you bump into a guy you use to like Marsha?" He asked me turning off his phone as he looked over at me. "Is that suppose to not make me jealous?"

"Well, it wasn't supposed to make you jealous!"

"Well, it did."

"Well, I see that," I mumbled looking away as he went back on to his phone.

I sat in silence just sort of waiting for something as he watched some sort of video.

"If it makes you feel any better," I started. "I don't like him anymore. And I'm pretty sure he doesn't like me."

"Really?" Billie asked happily. "I mean- Aww man that sucks. Really?"

I laughed slightly. You just couldn't stay angry at him. "Yeah."

"What happened?"

"Well mason asked what was wrong with you, so as a joke I said you haven't had your weed-"

"-Marsha!" He whined.

"No, listen!" I said quickly. "And then I remembered he hates drugs. And he started saying I had a druggie as a boyfriend so-"

"-he said what!" He said leaning his back off the headrest on the bed.

"Billie I'm still talking!"

"Fine," he muttered crossing his arms as he leaned back. "Sorry."

"Anyway, so obviously I stuck up for you and told him not to call you that. And that you were not a druggie. And he asked if I did it, I said yeah with you I had. So then he got moody so I walked away." I explained.

"Why didn't you tell me while we were at the skatepark? I could've hit him then and there, I can't hit him now." Billie said.

"That's why Billie because you would have hit him."

"Good point." He nodded. "Y'know what, I'm really sorry I got jealous. I just got scared for a moment that all those feelings were gonna come back and-" I cut him off.

"-Billie Joe. I only liked him. My feelings for him were nothing compared to the way I feel for you. I've never loved any until I found you. And I'm the one who should be sorry. You have every right to be jealous, I shouldn't have gotten angry at you for that."

"I just get scared to lose you that's all," he said looking over at me. "I feel sometimes like I'm a shitty person, and you're way too good for me. And one day you're gonna bump into a better guy who makes you realise that and leave me for them."

"I'll never find anyone who can make you seem like a shitty person. I love everything about you. I even love the way you get jealous."

"You do!?"

"Yeah," I laughed. "It shows you obviously love me. And to be honest I would be worried if you didn't get jealous. Cause that would mean you didn't care. Plus I think it's sorta hot," I explained. But whispering the last part.

"I heard that!"
