Chapter 54: The Ceremony

As the doors opened, a hush fell over the gathered guests. The soft sound of ocean waves blended with the melody of the string quartet, setting a perfect backdrop for the moment. The golden hues of the sunset cast a warm glow over the ceremony space, the floral arch swaying gently in the evening breeze.

Jey felt Isabella's grip tighten slightly on his arm. He leaned down and whispered, "You got this, sis."

She took a deep breath, nodding slightly as they stepped forward.

The aisle was lined with white rose petals, leading her straight to the man waiting for her at the altar. Roman stood tall, dressed in a tailored black suit, his long hair neatly pulled back. But it wasn't his appearance that made Isabella's heart skip-it was the look in his eyes.

He was already emotional, his lips pressed together as if trying to hold himself together. But as soon as their gazes locked, she saw it. The love. The devotion. The overwhelming happiness.

Joelle and Malachi stood at the front, dressed in their formal attire, grinning proudly as they watched their mother approach. Naomi was beside them, beaming, while Jimmy and Solo stood with Roman, looking just as proud.

As they reached the altar, Jey turned to Isabella, giving her one last look as if silently asking if she was ready. She smiled, nodding.

Jey then looked at Roman, giving him a firm nod before placing Isabella's hand in his. "Take care of her, Uce."

Roman smirked slightly, shaking Jey's hand before turning his attention fully to Isabella.

"You look beautiful," he whispered, his thumb brushing over her fingers.

Isabella smiled. "You don't look too bad yourself."

The officiant cleared his throat with a warm smile. "Welcome, everyone, to this celebration of love between Roman and Isabella. Today is a day of promises, of commitment, and of family."

As he spoke, Isabella felt the nerves melt away. Looking into Roman's eyes, she knew there was nowhere else she'd rather be.

The officiant continued, "Marriage is not just about love, but about choosing each other every single day. Through the highs and the lows, through the joys and the struggles, today is the start of a new chapter-a continuation of a story that was always meant to be."

Roman took a deep breath, his grip on Isabella's hands tightening slightly as the moment arrived for their vows.

"I believe the couple has prepared their own vows," the officiant said.

Roman nodded and took a step closer. His deep voice was steady, but there was a rare softness in it as he spoke.

"Isa... from the moment we found our way back to each other, I knew this was where I was meant to be. With you. With our kids. With our family. Life hasn't always been easy, but loving you is the easiest thing I've ever done. You are my heart, my home, my peace. And I promise, today and every day after, to stand by you, to protect you, to love you with everything I have. Forever."

A tear slipped down Isabella's cheek, and Roman reached up to gently wipe it away, his touch lingering.

She took a shaky breath before speaking.

"Roman... you were my first love, and now, you're my forever love. We've walked through fire to get here, and I wouldn't change a single thing because every step brought me back to you. You've given me a love I never thought I deserved, a home I never thought I'd find. And I promise, today and always, to love you fiercely, to stand beside you no matter what, and to always choose you-just as you have always chosen me."

Roman exhaled, his jaw tightening as he fought his emotions. He squeezed her hands, his eyes never leaving hers.

The officiant smiled. "May we have the rings?"

Joelle stepped forward, holding out the ring box proudly. Roman took Isabella's ring and gently slid it onto her finger.

"With this ring, I promise you my love, my loyalty, and my forever."

Isabella took his ring, her hands only trembling slightly as she placed it on his finger.

"With this ring, I promise you my heart, my trust, and my forever."

The officiant beamed. "By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife." He looked at Roman with a grin. "You may kiss your bride."

Roman wasted no time, pulling Isabella in close, his lips capturing hers in a kiss that was filled with nothing but love and devotion. The crowd erupted in cheers, Joelle and Malachi clapping the loudest.

As they pulled apart, Roman leaned his forehead against hers. "We did it, Mrs. Reigns."

She smiled, brushing her nose against his. "Yeah, we did."

Hand in hand, they turned to face their family and friends, stepping forward as husband and wife.

A new chapter had officially begun.
