Chapter 48: The Joint Bachelor/Bachelorette Party
The days were flying by, and before Isabella knew it, the wedding was only a few days away. The excitement, the stress, the planning-it had all built up to this moment. But before the big day, Roman and Isabella decided to throw a joint bachelor and bachelorette party, combining their celebrations into one night of fun, laughter, and a little bit of mischief.
Roman, Isabella, Naomi, and the entire crew had agreed to make the party a mix of everything they loved-good food, good music, and good company. It was a chance for everyone to relax, let loose, and celebrate the love and friendship they had before the big day arrived. Everyone was in high spirits, and the anticipation was electric.
Isabella was at Naomi's house, getting ready for the party. Her dress was a little more daring than what she had imagined wearing before the wedding, but with her confidence at an all-time high, she felt ready to take on the night. The little black dress she wore was paired with strappy heels and bold red lipstick, her hair cascading in waves down her back. Naomi stood next to her, wearing a sparkling silver dress, her own smile wide and excited.
"You look incredible," Naomi said, admiring her friend. "I think Roman won't be able to take his eyes off of you tonight."
Isabella smiled, adjusting her earrings. "I hope so. But let's be real, I'm more excited to see everyone together and have fun. We all deserve it."
As the night went on, the party moved from Roman and Isabella's house to a local bar that they had rented out. The music was already blasting when they arrived, and the place was buzzing with energy. Isabella was greeted with cheers as soon as she stepped inside, her closest friends and family already gathered around.
Roman was there, looking dashing in a fitted suit with a casual twist, looking every bit the man of the hour. His eyes lit up when he saw Isabella, and he made his way over to her, pulling her into a tight embrace.
"Damn, baby, you look amazing," Roman said, his voice low and husky. "I can't wait to see you in that dress again... but I'll save that for later."
Isabella laughed, feeling the warmth of his presence. "I can't wait to dance with you tonight."
The night unfolded with everyone enjoying themselves. There were drinks, laughter, and the sound of music filling the air. The guys and girls had their own separate areas to mingle at first, but it wasn't long before the dance floor became a melting pot of friends and family, with everyone joining in on the fun.
Jey, Jimmy, and Solo had their own corner, sharing drinks and laughing with Roman. They were all in celebratory moods, enjoying the break from wedding planning. As the night wore on, Roman pulled Jey aside, raising his eyebrows in a teasing way.
"Bro, you've been eyeing that dance floor all night. Don't tell me you're too shy to ask her for a dance."
Jey smirked, glancing over at a girl who had been eyeing him for a while. "You know me, I'm not shy. Just making sure I have the right moment."
Roman chuckled. "Go for it, man. You've got this."
Meanwhile, Isabella was surrounded by her bridesmaids and family, laughing and dancing with them. Naomi was right by her side, twirling on the dance floor and giving her all sorts of funny encouragements. The energy in the room was electric, and Isabella felt like the luckiest woman alive. It was a moment she would never forget-one filled with love, joy, and the anticipation of what was to come.
At one point, Roman and Isabella were pulled into the middle of the crowd, and it wasn't long before they were dancing together, laughing and having fun. There was a playful energy between them, and even though they had shared so many intimate moments leading up to the wedding, this night felt like something entirely different. It was a celebration of who they were together and the life they were about to start.
As the night progressed, there was a brief interlude when everyone took a break from dancing. Roman and Isabella found themselves sitting in a quiet corner of the bar, taking a moment to breathe and enjoy each other's company.
"I can't believe we're almost there," Isabella said softly, her head resting on Roman's shoulder. "After everything we've been through, the wedding is right around the corner."
Roman looked down at her with a smile. "It's crazy, right? But it feels right. This is our moment. No more waiting. Just us, our family, and the future we've always wanted."
Isabella squeezed his hand. "I'm so happy I get to spend it with you."
Roman smiled. "Same here. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me, Isa."
Before the night ended, there was one final surprise. Roman had arranged for a special moment for both of them: a private toast under the stars, just the two of them. They stepped outside, away from the chaos of the party, and found a quiet corner with a bottle of champagne and two glasses.
Roman raised his glass, looking at Isabella with a tenderness that made her heart flutter. "To us. To the love we've built, and the family we're creating together."
Isabella smiled, raising her glass to meet his. "To us. To everything."
They clinked their glasses together, the sound of the crystal ringing in the night air as they shared a quiet moment, just the two of them. The music continued inside, and the party carried on without them, but for a brief moment, Isabella felt like the world had stopped. It was just her and Roman, and everything else didn't matter.
They didn't need anything else but each other.
As the night came to a close, they returned to the party, ready to celebrate the final days leading up to their wedding. The excitement was tangible, and as they danced the night away, Isabella couldn't help but feel like this was the perfect start to the rest of their lives together.
The wedding was almost here, and everything felt right.
