As the unsettling reality starts sinking in 

a deep chill creeps into my bones

tears silently fall

beings unfathomable to the human mind

and yet not one word is spoken

about the absolute abnormality of it all

silently thanking my human mind for the great ability of denial

the ability that smothers everything with a soft comfort

shock rolls over my body in waves

inability to trust the very essence of yourself leads to drastic consequences

leads you crippingly unable to trust the fabric of the universe itself

words that only exist in fantasy have become alive

the very existence is mocking to the sudden simplicity of mankind

where can you go when there's no where to hide?
