The urge to unleash the feelings trapped deep inside of me 

is one that I wrestle with everyday

a fire deep within

grows with each passing day

flames threatening to engulf me whole

the flames pour out from within me

an avalanche of emotions

the fire demands more

and more

and more

greedier with each passing moment 

it buries itself deep within

a monster in waiting 

ready to explode at any given moment

fighting it grows harder and harder

the tightness in my skin grows

almost as if i'm caged in a skin too small for me

lava bubbling out of the scars that litter my body
