Long wavy hair,
Jet black in colour,
The girl in her room,
Bore a jasmine flavour.

Apparently her roommate,
Deepa watched with curious eyes,
As the girl lay on bed,
And munched on her fries.

"Hi, I'm Kavya,"
She held a dangling hand,
Which was laden with a bracelet,
And a red friendship band.

She stuttered in fashion,

A perfect first impression.

Kavya laughed it out,
"Don't worry it happens,

With their hands still locked,
They both had a smile,

The gate made of bricks,
Was big, classy and wide.

As their bus entered the campus,
Deepa dropped her jaw,
With Kavya sitting beside,
They both looked with awe.

The slogan greeted them first,
And both their evil minds,
Had big ideas burst.

They were ushered to a hall,
For their first orientation,
Where the two beautiful girls,
Didn't fail to draw attention.

Beautiful was just a word,
They looked better than that,
When others wanted to be queens,
They were happy to be themselves.

Caught once for talking,
Again when they were laughing,
On their first day of college,
They had their teacher shouting.

With a companion like Kavya,
Deepa forgot all her woes,
She was all set and ready,
To make new friends and foes.

It was start of a new adventure,
