A new day began,
With the sun shining bright
With determination in her heart,
Deepa was ready to take the flight

She stepped onto a road,
While dreaming to fly
Just to find those dark eyes,
Staring in her eye

He had seen her the night before,
Drenched in the rain
There was something in this girl,
That he could not explain

Watching that innocent face,
Just one thing he wanted to gain
That her beautiful eyes,
Be free of that hidden pain

He was standing in front of her,
Many a thoughts crossed his mind
But at that very instant,
There were no words he could find

After the encounter last night,
He wanted to know her name
He knew beneath that calm demeanor,
There was a storm playing a game

And he was perfectly right,
For Deepa's heart was at war
After that incident last night,
It was racing like a car

The stare in which they were locked,
Was broken by a bus
As they again parted their ways,
Their hearts in a fuss
