It was a week into the summer holidays and Severus had decided to take Harry out for the day in London for some father and son time sadly Otiz would have to stay home due to what he was.

Harry wanted to go away like he did for Easter but he knew that his father had many potions to make for the Hospital Wing and indulge in his own experiments.

But today was different Severus had made sure that most of his potions were done so he could spend time with his son, but he had picked London of all places to go to why not Diagon Alley but his father had said no to that one.

It was hot outside, so they were both dressed in thin Muggle clothes, Harry in tan khaki shorts and a red and blue stripe t-shirt while Severus as in a pair of black trousers and a dark green top. Harry hadn't let him out of the house if he was wearing all black.

Severus had tied his hair at the nap of his neck and wore sunglasses, while Harry had a cap on his head and a pair of sunglasses as well.

As they were walking to the zoo, yes Harry had wanted to go back to the zoo even after what had happened last time, letting the snake loose by accident. What it's called accidental magic for a reason!

Severus paid for the tickets and as they walked round Harry was very happy, he loved looking at the lions and tigers and even the wolves that kept on howling.

He knew what each one was saying which at first shocked him but once he got over it he loved his gift that Lady Magic gave him.

"Hadrian what are they saying do you know?" asked his father but Harry just smiled up at his father saying nothing he was in his element really.

As they walked round the corner to head towards the hippos he stopped making his father look at him and then without question on why he did that Harry his behind him, shaking.

Severus looked to where Harry was once looking before he had hid when he saw the three people he would rather not of known existed. The Dursley's; Vernon the whale, Petunia the horse and lastly Dudley the seal going on whale.

Yet again Dudley was banging on the glass of an enclosure scaring the poor animal inside, inside the enclosure it was a Komodo dragon.

It was hissing away at being disturbed from its slumber.

"Oi wake the hell up!! Daddy, Mummy make the stupid thing wake up!" he yelled to his parents, Harry was still shaking behind his father but let go as Severus walked over to them.

"I think you should stop that before I call over a member of the staff" said Severus right behind the whale known as Vernon Dursley.

Petunia jumped when she noticed who it was and almost screamed but didn't want to bring too much attention to her "perfect" family.

"Mister Dursley I would appreciate that your son stop banging on the glass. That animal looks quite scared because of your son" said Severus who had moved to stand in front of him.

"Move god damn it!" yelled Dudley to Severus as he tried to move the man but he couldn't be budged.

Harry was still behind him, holding desperately to him, he hated seeing the Dursley's here but he couldn't get out of it.

"Dad...." he was just loud enough to draw the attention of the Dursley's to him, right away Vernon's beady little eyes where drawn to him.

"Well if it isn't our "dear" little nephew, Pet look who it is. Harry has come back to "us" at long last" said Vernon, making Harry stay where he was.

Petunia looked towards her nephew and then saw who he was hiding behind she lost it!

"You freak! Why did you come here this place is for normal people not people like you. Why don't you just leave this place and leave it for the normal people" she screamed at the pair of them.

Harry shook in fear behind his father and silently cried.

Severus sighed he didn't want this to happen this was going to undo everything that they had worked for.

"Tuney really do you have to make a scene like this?" he asked her, yes he didn't like her but this was her nephew of all things. He might of been adopted and then blood adopted but he was still her nephew either way.

"You freak! I'll make a scene if I want to, you have no right over what I do and say! You freaks need to go back to where you come from!" she yelled again.

Vernon turned a violent purple and Severus thought he was about to die due to blood loss as well as air but he just screamed at him instead.

"You kidnapped our nephew and you expect us to be quiet about it and after a year you appear with the blasted god for nothing freak at this place!

I should get you arrested for that! You freaks are nothing but a disgrace and should just die if you know what's bloody well and good for you!"

Harry pulled on his father, this bought Dudley's attention and tried to sneak over to most likely hit the smaller boy but Severus saw it and gave a small smile.

"You dare touch my son with your hands and I will call the authorities here right now. Plus I think that you are upsetting everyone else here who have come to enjoy a day out with their friends and family".

Severus took his son by his hand and led him out of the reptile house and out into the sun once again.

"Hadrian it's alright now, I have you just breathe with me ok... in and out, in and out... That's it well done" said Severus as the pair sat on a bench in the shade of a oak tree.

Within no less than five minutes the Dursley's were yet again upon them, Harry tried to hide in his father's side while Severus straightened his back, even though he was sitting down he was still rather intimidating to say the least.

"Just admit it you stole that freak from us!" yelled Vernon to him while his son Dudley tried to yank the poor boy off his father.

"Daddy, daddy I have the freak! Can we go home now? seeing him has made me want to play a game, plus he has all his missing chores to catch up on. Right mummy?"

Severus glared at the boy and moved his hand and removed the boy from his son, then he pulled out his wand.

Making sure that no Muggles were around and said very slowly waving the wand in their faces..

"Now listen here Dursley's, I have adopted him as well as something we like to called blood adoption, you have no blood tie to my son. Lily is still his mother as the same with Potter Sr. but his is now and forever more my son Hadrian and I would likely ask you to leave us alone" as he said this his wand sparked.

"He, that freak is still our property that old man of yours said so and I would like compensation for what we normal people had to put up with since he came to us" yelled Vernon making more people turn to look at them.

"Is there anything I can do to help you with sir?" asked a member of staff.

The Dursley's looked at the two new people before them, seeing that it was a member of the reptile staff as well as a security guard they quickly held their breath.

Severus looked towards the two members of staff and nodded his head but didn't move as Harry was now completely glued to his side.

"Yes there is sir, these people have accussed me stealing my son from them. I haven't got a clue what they are on about, we want to leave but they won't let us" and he sighed towards them.

The staff members saw what he was on about, the Dursley's where right in their faces, the poor boy was so scared!

The security guard walked up to them and asked them to leave right away and that they were banned from the zoo, the staff member of the reticle house came over to the pair.

"Are you alright young man?" trying to get Harry to talk to him but he just hid more, making Severus sigh.

"Don't worry about him, I'll just take him home for now, I'm sorry that we have caused this mess in your fine place of work" and he picked up Harry.

"Sir don't think that way, by the look of it all it was those people and not you. I would like you to come again free of charge that is, either that let your son pick something out of the souvenir shop, I'll pay for it so don't worry".

Severus sighed but he let the man lead him to the souvenir's and smiled at him.

Before he could say anything and leave the zoo the man insisted and so Severus brought his son over to the stuffed animals.

"Hadrian can you choose something for me please this nice man has offered to buy you something due to what he happened.

Please can you do that for me?" Severus tried to get his son to choose something and when he put his down on the floor twin emerald green eyes with black specks in the shone up to him, tears in his eyes.

"C..Ca...can we...go...h...home...now?" muttered Harry to his father making his sigh again.

"We will but can you pick something out for this nice man to pay for as a sorry for what he happened and he very gently pushed his son towards the stuffed animals.

"Ok"

He walked over to the snakes and then the wolves but he didn't know what to choose at all and looked towards his father holding both.

"Can't......can't choose" was all he said to him.

Severus smiled towards his son and took both into his hands and then handed the staff member the wolf while he took the snake and then both headed to the tills to pay for them both.

Once paid for both were handed back to him making him smile, the staff member wanted to ask more but decided to leave it as it wasn't his place to say.

The two left and headed back home, thank Merlin for magic and once they landed Harry just burst out into tears!

He had hated the whole thing and then someone offer to buy him something and so did his father. He had had nothing like this before, yes he had gone on holiday during Easter break but this was something completely different.
