I am very well aware of the fact that this book contains... childish and ridiculous writing, but this was unfortunately my only source of media I could post something like this. I can only pray that the nature of the material surrounding this post does not destroy its value or its credibility, though I am sure those will both naturally decrease.

I am creating a post to describe the history following the COVID-19 global pandemic. This virus has devastated millions of people around the globe, and I feel it is the duty of our generation to educate future generations on this plague. If we fail to do our part... we may cause a repeat of this deadly thing. I am sure nobody wishes to repeat this tragedy.

It all started around the very beginning of 2020 in January. Awareness of a virus found in China was just beginning to spread, and rumors spread just as fast as the virus spread that it was extremely deadly. The world laughed at those who feared it, and it allowed the virus to spread nearly everywhere with very little detection. By the time governments had started to shut everything down in March, it was too late. COVID-19 was global, and we could do nothing to stop it.

People began to die at an alarming rate, so a quarantine was issued. The government claimed it would only be two weeks, but society as we knew it collapsed before those two weeks were over. Stores were raided of everything they had, especially their toilet paper. People would go to the store to find empty shelves wherever they looked. A widespread panic from many to get as many essential items had caused more panic in those who were too late in getting the essential items they needed. They would start offering obscenely high prices, sometimes up to $50, just for a few rolls of toilet paper. Anything to get what they needed.

There were some people who were unfortunate enough to not get anything at all. They lost their food and some who were still being forced into paying bills they shouldn't have lost their homes too. These newly starved people began to fill the streets, not caring if they spread COVID-19 amongst themselves or anyone they interacted with. None of them could afford masks to cover their faces and protect them, but none of them practiced social distancing. Sure enough, the virus found them and executed them all.

Things continued to go downhill from here. By the time it had reached July, it was proven that aliens from a distant planet had created COVID-19 as an experiment on the human immune system. They were watching our every immune response to the virus in secret, documenting everything about it. By the time we'd figured out this was a research project by aliens, it was too late.

With the entire globe too sick to fight back, the aliens were able to conquer the entire world. They did it swiftly so we should not feel motivated to resist and strike back. The brave few who did were promptly destroyed. The aliens had no mercy for our kind, and they just continued to conquer us until we accepted them as our leaders. It was the only way we could salvage ourselves as an entire human species- to allow ourselves to be enslaved by these aliens.

It is January 2021, and while we have managed to chip away slowly at the aliens and their strength, they still hold the upper hand against us. I am hoping that we will manage to save ourselves from the hold of these cruel creatures and we will be able to cure COVID-19. If not... this might not become a tragedy, but the new way of life.
