Popee the Performer || Mirrors - @-Champion-

Nightfall has just came an hour ago. The starless night sky was jet black. In the circus, it was silent. Nothing seemed to happen at all. There was just no sound. The frog's croaks weren't even heard like usual. It was just silent.

The silence was then disturbed all of a sudden. Footsteps were heard. In the distance, a shadow of a wolf slowly walking was seen. They silently and quickly went into a small tent that was around. The shadow that was seen belonged to Kedamono, a wolf that was assistant at the circus.

He grabbed a bucket that was in the corner and started to drag it. He then looked over, only to trip on something that was in the way. Kedamono grabbed his head, feeling a little stunned, but it wasn't that bad. He's felt stuff that was worse.

In the corner, he saw the old mirror that Papi somewhat got his head stuck in. Kedamono's head tilted, confused. He remembered that the mirror was broken and was just shoved in the corner because they didn't know what to do with it. It was all of a sudden fixed. Kedamono knew it was the same mirror from the way it looked. There were no shards of glass around and it didn't look forcefully put together.

Kedamono leapt up and took a step closer to it. That's when he noticed something in the middle. It was small enough to the point where he could have easily not seen it at all. It was a small red dot. Kedamono tilted his head again, and his mask changed to a confused expression. What was that dot doing there? No one has been in this tent expect him from what he knew. No one could have simply put the mirror back together somehow and left a dot in the middle of it.

A rattling sound suddenly came from the mirror. Kedamono staggered back, unaware of what was going on. He thought he would come out alive this night, especially with how Popee was asleep. Nothing wrong should have some out of this!

The small, red dot that was there soon became a claw poking out. He looked at it as he saw a figure in the mirror. He stood up and realized it was his reflection, but something was off. Instead of being purple like usual, it had a pink tint to it. The pants it wore were white with red stripes.

Kedamono tilted his head in confusion. His mask had a puzzled expression with question marks being his eyes. The mask did the same thing, expect the expression was different. Instead of it being puzzled, it had an expression that was emotionless. The eyes were just simply black dots.

Kedamono got closer to the mirror. His curiosity seemed to take over his body. Normally, he would have just run away if this happened, but something was holding him back from doing that. He was curious enough to get closer to it.

The mirror seemed to slow down with its rattling. Kedamono got face to face with his reflection. He looked down at the claw that was present in the mirror. It poked out without having any cracks around it. Kedamono rose up his paw and stuck out one of his claws. He then let his claw tap the one in the mirror, seeing if it was just his imagination.

The reflection suddenly had its whole hand come out. The arm wrapped around Kedamono's paw. Kedamono let out a horrified screech as he pulled himself back. The mirror cracked open fully. As Kedamono fell back, he felt the glass shards dig into his skin. Blood oozed out from it. Kedamono quickly looked back up.

The mirror was destroyed now. In front of the mirror, a pink wolf stood there. It looked like him with the mask, but the colors were off. Instead of having purple fur and orange pants with yellow stars, it had the color palette of pink, red and white. With how there was those colors present, the other wolf almost looked like Popee.

Kedamono covered in fear. The other wolf's mask had a expression that could only be described as evil to him. It looked like the face you would imagine a gobbling having, but much worse. The eyes looked drain of life. It looked as if it was hellbent on only doing one thing; killing anything around it.

Kedamono froze with fear. He didn't know what to do at all exactly. The pink wolf's mask had a smirk on it now as its head tilted. Kedamono could only stare back. The longer he stared, Kedamono grew more terrified.

The pink wolf hunched over. Its paws were sharp, but still small. Their jaw dangled open. Blood stained the sharp, almost jagged teeth of the wolf as purple fabric still lingered in its mouth. Its ears were shredded as if someone was trying to attack back.

Kedamono snapped back into reality. His head shook a little, trying to stay focus. Kedamono lifted up his back slowly and tried to shuffle away, but the pink wolf seemed to notice him trying to get away. The wolf let out a screech as it jumped up, lunging at Kedamono. Kedamono let out a shriek as it happened.

The thing was truly the opposite of him. The thing looked like Kedamono, but was something like him at all. They were the opposite. They were Onomadek from what that meant.
