I could barely hold myself back when we were waiting for the parents to arrive. Wright was sneering at me, probably because he got me into trouble, and Smith was sobbing her heart out onto the assistant head's shoulder. I know she was faking it, though. She snarled at me through the gap.

Eventually, my parents arrived, Harry with them. Smith and Wright's had arrived beforehand, and when they told the head that it was most likely because of Harry, they told my parents to make a detour in order to grab him.
