Izuku woke up, blinking slowly to a slightly familiar room.

  Oh right, the dorms.

Izuku slumped out of bed and stretched, reaching out to his bedside table.

He sighed, staring at the barren table.

____________

Five minutes of struggling-to-get-dressed-with-one-arm later and Izuku was running down to the common room. He refrained from wearing his mask, now that his friends knew his real face.

Izumi was sitting on one of the sofas eating breakfast with some of the early birds of the class. Izuku stomped into the kitchen and carefully filled a glass with water, before returning to the sitting area.

He stood menacingly behind his sister.

  "Morning Zumi." He said.

Izumi jolted in her seat, turning around to face Izuku.

  "M-morning Zuku.." she said.

Izuku took a long sip of his water.

  "Where's the bomb?" He asked.

  "B-bomb..?" Izumi asked in confusion.

"Yes, bomb. Nezu designed it, you don't think he would have included a bomb?" Izuku asked.

The youngest sibling paled, and glanced up to the hanging light where a green glow was carrying Izuku's metal arm with the utmost care.

Izuku snatched his arm out of the air, ignoring his sister's slightly fearful gasp. He twisted it into his shoulder, and flexed his re-attached appendage.

Once he'd made sure everything was working properly, Izuku turned back to his sister.

"I've just thought of a great combo move!" Izuku said, a cold smile on his face.

He picked up his sibling with one hand and dragged her from the sofa. Iida was waving his arms about, but Kaminari and Sero were working together to hold him back.

Izuku opened the front door and walked into the courtyard.

"It's called 'flight of the thief!'" he exclaimed as he launched Izumi straight up parallel to the glass and concrete walls of the dorm.

Izumi's shriek got quieter the higher she got, until she reached the apex of her 'flight'. Izuku reached out and tapped the concrete wall, catching Izumi's ankle before she plummeted.

"Now hang there and think about what you've done!" He called, heading back inside.

Hagakure was the one to suggest the shopping trip. The class were sat around the dining table having lunch when the invisible student spoke up.

"I have an idea! Why don't we go shopping?" She said.

Mina immediately latched onto the idea.

"That's a great idea! All of the girls need to get stuff for camp, and we could even buy stuff for our new rooms!!" She exclaimed.

Izuku tilted his head, considering the idea.

"I want to get a heavier wristweight." He clicked, more out of habit than the need to conserve his voice.

  Ochako nodded.

"I need bug spray." She said.

The majority of the class nodded along with the idea, naming any items they needed to purchase, either for the training camp or just something they wanted to get for their rooms.

Mina and Hagakure cheered in unison, earning several amused glances.

"Why don't we all meet back up here at around 2 for lunch?" Kirishima asked.

  Izuku glanced at the clock.

"About three hours.." he clicked absentmindedly.

The class agreed and split up into groups. Izuku and Ochako were left on their own in the middle of the mall.

Izuku held his hand out to the brunette, who took it with a beaming smile.

Izuku smiled in return behind his half mask, walking beside Ochako as they wandered around the mall looking through shop windows.

Izuku pointed at a big shop to the right.

"I'm going to get my new weights from there." He said.

  Ochako nodded.

"Okay! I'm just going to the bathroom, I'll meet you back here!" She said, walking away and waving behind her.

Izuku walked over to the open doors, but was stopped by a faintly familiar voice.

"Hey, you're from UA!" A gravelly voice called.

An arm was thrown over Izuku's shoulders.

"I saw you at the sports festival! And weren't you the one who defeated Stain? Man, it's so strange seeing you again like this!" The man continued.

Izuku's eyes snapped to the left, focusing on the man leaning over his shoulder.

"I guess from your perspective we haven't met since the USJ attack..."

"What do you want Shigaraki?" Izuku asked calmly.

Shigaraki's arm twitched, his fingers inching towards Izuku's throat.

"Don't do that. I won't cause a scene so long as you don't threaten anybody here. What do you want? I doubt you're here just to harass me." Izuku said.

Shigaraki didn't move his hand closer, but he didn't move away either.

"I want to talk. Why is Stain so popular? Why isn't anybody talking about the league, about me? My Nomu caused way more carnage than Stain did, but he got all the attention!" Shigaraki rambled.

Izuku's eyes shifted to the right.

"Ochako. Get out of his line of sight and call Dadzawa. I'll be fine, go and look for the others. Let them know what's going on, and get them out of here." He clicked.

"What is that? What are you doing?" The villain asked sharply. He didn't notice Ochako slipping away, pulling her phone out.

"Sorry, nervous habit. My arm just does that sometimes. Please just ignore it." Izuku said.

He made sure to click at random intervals throughout Shigaraki's rambling.

"So tell me brat. Why has the league been pushed aside in favour of the hero killer?" Shigaraki rasped.

Izuku sighed, thinking for a moment.

"It's because of his message. His ideals. The public can get behind his goal, a better hero society, where only the truly heroic people are given the title of hero. Everyone knows what his message is. Everyone watches as he works for his goal. But the league has no goal other than killing All Might. Sure, some people could get behind that, but once that's done what will you do then? Reform society? Work for world peace? There's no ultimate goal that the public can get behind, and let's face it, everybody loves All Might, so there won't be many supporters for the league amongst the public like there are for Stain." Izuku explained.

Shigaraki was grinning, which was probably not a good thing. Izuku's eyes certainly didn't think so, and he had to see his own face every morning.

"Yes, I understand now! Everything is clear! I know why I hate Stain so much. I know why you irritate me! It's all because of All Might!" The disintegrator said.

Izuku looked past the distracted Shigaraki. Eraserdad was standing right in the Villain's blind spot, his scarf grasped in his hand.

Izuku gave him a discreet nod.

"Thank you 'Mask', you've been a great h-elp!?"

Izuku's steel fingers grabbed the villain's arm, yanking him off balance as Aizawa's capture weapon lashed out, wrapping itself around Shigaraki's shins.

Shigaraki fell over with a yelp, landing flat on his face. Izuku grabbed the man's other arm and twisted them both behind him, planting his foot in the small of the villain's back.

"Why can't I use my quirk? What did you-? Eraserhead? Where did you come from??"

Aizawa snapped a pair of handcuffs on the villain, while Kaminari raced over with a bulging plastic bag, the rest of the class hot on his heels.

"Here dude, take these!!" He said, tossing a brightly coloured packet towards Izuku. It was full of brightly coloured hollow tubes. The label said they were Chinese fingercuffs.

Aizawa snorted as Izuku jammed the toys onto the villains fingers, while Shigaraki screeched in indignation.

"You think these restraints can hold me?? I'll just- huh?"

Shigaraki wiggled his fingers, confused that he wasn't disintegrating the objects on his hands.

The police arrived a few minutes later, escorting the still shrieking Shigaraki into an armoured truck.

"Today was pretty good!" Kirishima exclaimed.

The class just stared at him.

"What? I see this as an absolute win!"
