Dear Diary;

Merry Christmas everyone! I'm so happy. I've never felt so elated before. At the moment I'm waiting for Natsu, who said he'd be back in a minute. I wonder what he's doing...

That Christmas Morning
--------------------------------------------

I stretched my arms in the air, smelling the sweet smell of.... pancakes? After getting myself out of bed, I stumbled down the stairs in my tight pyjama top and short shorts to see Natsu and Happy in the kitchen.
"H-hey..." I mumbled. "What are you guys doing up so early?"
"Crap! She's awake!" Natsu whisper-yelled. "Happy! Commence plan distraction!"
"Aye sir!" Happy replied, spreading his wings.

He flew over to me with his paws behind his back and a broad smile on his face.
"Mornin' Lucy." He smiled.
"W-what's going on?" I asked sleepily.
"There's nothing going on." He smirked. "Why don't you go back to bed?" He then revealed what he was holding: a small bottle filled with some kind of potion. He opened the lid and waves it underneath my nose.
"What's t-tha...." I felt my eyes drooping and I felt slightly lightheaded.

Time Skip A While Later Because Lucy Doesn't Quite Know
--------------------------------------------

When I awoke, I felt a chilly breeze brush past my cool skin.
"Hey Luce." Natsu smiled. "So you finally woke up."

I looked around to see that we were sat on a picnic may outside, by a river frozen over with ice. Natsu sat next to me, with a huge basket, of what I guess was food, in front of us.
"Geez, it's chilly huh?" I shivered. Natsu scooted closer to me, wrapping his warm, muscular arms around my petite body. Of course, this made me blush madly.
"Any better?" He asked, a sweet smile on his face. "From the looks of your cheeks, it warmed you right up." A cheeky grin sneaked its way onto his face, which also made me smile.
"Yeah, thanks." I smiled, snuggling closer.

We sat there in perfect harmony, listening to the sounds of the chirping robins, and the occasional sound of a laughing child playing in the snow.
"So, what's in the basket?" I asked. I got no reply. "Natsu?" I asked again.

Great. He fell asleep.

I tried to push him off me so I could look for myself, but I didn't realise he was so god-damn heavy!

Suddenly, his grip tightened around me, and his head nuzzled against my neck.
"Don't move, please." Natsu moaned in his sleep. What am I gonna do? He's so cute and warm, but I'm curious.

"Well, look who it is!" I turned around and saw Gray smirking at us. Behind him stood Juvia, who looked like the happiest girl alive.
"Gray, you have to... help me..." I choked, trying to push Natsu off. "He fell asleep." Gray walked up to us, forming a small ice cube with his finger and thumb, chuckling like an insane man. He then put the ice cube down the back of Natsu's neck. Yikes.

"KYAAA!!!!" Natsu yelled, instantly letting go of me.
"What'd ya do that for ice freak?"
"Well stop being such a prick ash brain!"
"You wanna fight!?"
"Well," Gray smirked. "I would, but I've got a date with one of the fittest girls in Fiore."
"WHAT!? HELL NO! LUCE IS MINE ASSHOLE!" Natsu growled. Aww, he's so cute.
"I meant Juvia you pyro." He scowled. "But you spending time with Lucy wouldn't be a bad idea considering the occasion." And with that, the two walked off.

Occasion?

Time Skip Half An Hour
--------------------------------------------

"Sorry about before Luce.." Natsu smiled apologetically.
"It's fine, don't worry." I replied. "Besides, where are we going?" It was getting slightly dark, and we were walking down a never ending forest path.
"It's a surprise." He smirked, holding my hand tight and dragging me along.
When we got to the end of the path, I saw one of the most beautiful sights.

A Christmas Tree that soared high into the sky. It was decorated with the colours of the rainbow, and underneath it stood all my friends from Fairy Tail.

A Christmas Tree. A Special Occasion. IT WAS CHRISTMAS AND I DIDNT REALISE! I didn't get any presents for anyone!

"Merry Christmas Lucy!" They all smiled. I felt my eyes well up with tears, which made Natsu jump.
"Why are you crying?" He asked worriedly. "Did I do something wrong!?"
"No," I smiled. "No it's perfect." I embraced him in a tight hug. "I just feel bad because I didn't get anyone a present, but everyone did this for me."

"Don't be silly Lucy." Mira smiled. "It was all Natsu's idea."
"We all met up and devised a plan: One person was to keep you busy for the day, while everyone else set up here." Freed explained.

"You see Luce," Natsu piped up. It went silent. "I-I like you.... a lot. You make me really happy and, I-I always smile when you're around." He looked down and began to blush. "W-will you go out with me?"

I stood still, frozen to the spot. The whole guild leant forwards in anticipation, waiting for my answer.

"Yes." I smiled.
"Oh, it's okay. I know you don't like me in that way and all, bu-" I interrupted him.
"Natsu." I grabbed his shoulders, making him look at me. "I love you. I always have."

The place went up in cheer.

"THIS IS SO MANLY!" Elfman cried. Literally.

Back To Present Day
--------------------------------------------

Lucy: "Natsu! Why'd you kick me out the bedroom!?"
Natsu: "You can come in now."

I walked into the bedroom to see Natsu sat underneath the bonsai tree with a bow stuck on his forehead.
"Merry Christmas Luce." He smiled. I crouched down to his height and gently took the ribbon off his head, planting a soft kiss on his nose.
"Merry Christmas." I smiled.

Suddenly, he picked me up bridal style.
"Natsu?" I blushed. He just smirked at me, carrying me over to the bed.

I guess I'll write in my diary some other time. ;)
