Dear Diary;

Ugh. Another day, no progress. Christmas is drawing near and I don't even know what I'm going to get for my friends!

I had a stressful day today; lots of.... following.

~ThatMorning~

I walked into the guild with a bounce in my step; today I was going to get my Christmas cards sorted.

"LOVE RIVAL!" It was Juvia. She ran over to me and shook me until I was dizzy.
"J-Juviaaa~" I mumbled.

When I regained consciousness, I saw that she has been crying.
"Juvia, why are you crying?" I asked in a sweet tone.
"B-because Juvia doesn't know what to get Gray-sama for Christmas!" She wailed.

Oh. I see.

"Why can't you just ask him?" I said. She looked at me in disgust.
"JUVIA CANT POSSIBLY DO THAT!" She yelled.
"Well, have you asked around?" I suggested. "Ask some of his friends."
"Juvia already has!" She cried. "Juvia needs your help Love Rival."
"Stop calling me Love Rival." I said bluntly.

So she did a lot of explaining to me.

"So the plan is to just follow Gray all day to see what he takes an interest in?" I confirmed. Juvia nodded in reply.
"Right then," I whispered. "Let's go!"

First off, Gray went to the guild hall and had a couple fights with Natsu. Of course, when he was done, the whole guild was a wreck. After that he went into town to buy some food, and ate it by a lake.

We crouched down behind a bush covered in thorns and watched him.
"I don't see the point in this." I whispered, earning a stern look off Juvia. Suddenly, a gust of wind came and blew me into the bush.

"OUCH!" I cried, making Gray jump.
"Lucy?" He asked. "Are you okay?" I looked over to Juvia, but she had disappeared.
"Y-yeah, I'm good." I replied. Gray helped me out the bush and we sat down in front of the lake.
"So why are you here?" He asked me.

Crap.

"Umm.... Well I-" I was interrupted.
"Lemme guess: Juvia sent you." He smirked. I sighed, but then nodded in reply.
"Yeah, she wants to get you a Christmas present but she doesn't know what to get you." I explained.
"Why couldn't she just ask?"
"That's what I said." I mumbled.

"So, why are you here?" I asked. I saw Gray's cheeks flush red, but then he spoke.
"This place is very peaceful. I come here every once in a while to think things over." He explained.
"Come on." I teased. "I know there's more!"
"Well... Uhh...." He scratched the back of his head awkwardly. "The water in the lake calms me, it kinda reminds me of Juvia.."

"So you like her?" I smirked.
"I'll admit it when you admit that you like Natsu." He replied.
"What!? I-I don't-"
"Liar" He teased. "It's so obvious." Now I was blushing red.
"Okay fine, maybe a little bit." I huffed.

"Let's head back." I sighed.
"Yeah."
"Oh, by the way, what do you want for Christmas?" I asked.
"Me? Well, the courage to ask out Juvia. She's just so crazy and hyper, I can't find the right moment to ask." Gray sighed.

I have an idea.

The perfect thing for Juvia to get Gray.

So me and Juvia stalked Gray all day. We're normal. But I found out that Gray actually likes Juvia! I promised him to keep it a secret as long as he keeps the fact I like Natsu a secret, so I should be good.

Speaking of Natsu, I wonder where he is.

Natsu: "Hey Luce! I'm back! Did you miss me?"
Lucy: "Where'd you go?"
Natsu: "Me and Happy went on a job. We beat up a few guys, ya know."
Happy: "He's just trying to show off Lushee. Because he wants to impress you."
Natsu: "S-shut up!"
Lucy: "Let's go to bed now."
