Cross' POV

Night time. The worst time of the day. Why you may ask? Because it's the time that we all end up getting Nightmares.

Everyone knows that Nightmare carries negative energy, and he can enter your dreams, but only if you have a nightmare.

But, did you know that he can give you nightmares. You probably did. But either way its like the one of the only ways that he can get negative energy.

Usually when you wake up you hear screaming, sometimes crying. But the worst one comes from, Fell.

I mean sure, he got freaking abused by his own brother and had no choice but to escape. But he's lucky enough to have a brother. Unlike me...

But sometimes nobody has nightmares and it's just a dreamless sleep. Or sometimes he likes to only give one person nightmares and the rest have a dreamless sleep.

Either way, he always ends up giving someone a nightmare. And let me tell you, when it's my turn to have a nightmare, it's not happy.

I swear that they are worse then anybody else's. But, fortunetly  I know how to silence myself, like screaming.

But sometimes I do end up screaming and they aren't pretty. If I do end up screaming, I usually end up screaming for, at least, 5 minutes before I calm down.

And I get screamed at to shut up in the morning but, it's funny actually.

Even though, I get scared. I have to admit, I have a huge crush on Nightmare.

I mean sure he gives of negativity but, he's really nice to me, at least, sometimes.

Like, the one time when I came back from my first ever mission. I pretty much succeed, but at the end, this Sans almost killed me.

And when i got back nobody noticed my injuries except for Nightmare, he told me to meet him in the throne room.

Once I got there, he healed all of my wounds, and he even told me that I could take a break. And last time I checked Nightmare had never don't that before in the entire time I've been here.

I legit asked everyone in the castle, if Nightmare has ever healed them before. And guess what? They all said no!

I mean sure, it might be because I'm one of his strongest. But I felt a connection.

And of course Chara said that I was being dumb and that Nightmare doesn't like me... But I have- no I hope he does.

Anyways, I went ahead and laid on my bed, I just waited for my sleep to come, and fo the nightmares to begin.

And so it did. But something unexpected happened.... It was a nice one.

        ~nightmare begins~

I was in dark and empty room, with a small light that was barely on. (sound familiar 🤔) I looked around trying to find out where in nightmares sake I was. I noticed that I was laying on King sized bed.

I looked around some more, but couldn't find anything else that interested me. So I just got up and got off this cozy bed. I walked towards the small light, which was from a torch. I grabbed the torch and walked around the room, looking for the door.

Once I've found it I tried to open it. I opened it and was met with nothing but darkness again. But this time, there was this sort of trail on the floor... Rose petals? They were scattered on the floor, I looked closer and saw that they were leading me to somewhere so I followed it.

I was walking in the dark abyss, just waiting for the trail to end, when I bumped my head into something. I lifted my hand and tried to feel what I hit, then I felt it.

A door knob.

I quickly opened the door, expecting darkness, but this time I saw a lightly lit room, not too much light, and not to much darkness. I saw a bed with a lot of black goop on on it.

'That's not normal' I said in my head as I walked over to the bed to inspect the weird goop.

I slowly lifted my finger and poked the goop, nothing. Nothing really happened, at least that's what I thought.

I let out a shriek, as I was knocked on the bed. The goop started crawling up my arm, slowly creating some sort of chain.

I screamed, I squirmed and struggled trying to get free. But it was useless.

I started to hyperventilate, I didn't like this. My vision started to get blurry, but then I heard a voice.

"Shhhh" The voice said "You're okay, I'm here~" I felt something cuddle me from behind, I tried to look up and see who it was but all I saw was a tentacle, then a face.

I started to calm down as I realized who it was, it was Nightmare.

"N-nightmare?" No response "Why?" I asked the goop covered skeleton.

"Because Cross," The goop started to to crawl down my ribs "I love you"

The goop slowly started to rub my ribs, I let out a soft moan. Nightmare brought up a hand, and slowly started to caress my cheek.

I moaned loudly when Nightmare found my sensitive rib, I looked up at Nightmare.

"I... I l-love you t-too" He looked at me, the goop on my hands, that created a chain, slowly started to dissolve until finally my hands were free.

Nightmare quickly smashed his lips on mine, I quickly reacted and put my arms around his neck. Soon enough the kiss became heated.

I felt his tongue (Deal with it logic) lick my lip asking for entrance, I hesitantly opened my mouth and let him in, letting explore my wet cavern.

I let out soft moans as the goop on my ribs started to rub my ribs more. Nightmare pulled away, leaving a string of saliva, as let out a big moan.

"N-nightmare~" I moaned out
"A-ahh~"

Suddenly I felt a little fuzzy, "hmm? Looks like you're waking up" Nightmare says, as the goop on my ribs dissolve, I let out a whimper.

"See you later love" He says as he kisses me once more and he disappears. I woke up right after sweating and extremely hot. I sighed,

'Was that just a dream?' I asked myself
