With so many thoughts and much confusion,preetha slept feeling heavy head.Akash came to call her for dinner but she slept.Not wanting to disturb her,he switched off the lights and went from the room. Raghuveer was thinking about what he had seen and is in his thoughts when Sarla called him for dinner.He asked for preetha at dining table,but akash said she had slept.He says ok uneasily and Sarla also has some uneasiness for preetha. Putting them aside they have dinner and go for sleep.

Next day

Preetha wants to open her eyes but she is not able to.She thought because of heavy sleep may be her eyes are swollen and that is why she is not able to open eyes.She is slowly getting consciousness but her eyes are not open.With much difficulty she opens her eyes,her view makes her shocked. Raghuveer and Akash are standing ,looking at her with annoyed and caring faces.She tries to get up.

Preetha(in slow and dizzy voice): Papa,bhai aap yaha kya kar raha hai? kuch hua hai kya?

Trying to get up,but akash helps her in sitting.

Akash(caring and irritated): Sambhalke (after helping her to sit) kuch nahi bahut kuch hua hai

Preetha is not understanding anything ,she is feeling dizzy 

Preetha(touching her head): arey kya hua? Aur mujhe kya ho raha hai? main kyun aisa feel kar rahi hu??

Akash: Madam isko kehthe hai bhukkar.....

Pretha: Kya???

Akash: samaj nahi aaya......ok medical language mein isko fever kehthe hai 

Pretha(feeling angry for his words): Mujhe pata hai....idiot.Mujhe kyun aaya?

Akash(sarcastic): Right,tujhe nayi mujhe aana chahiye,kyunki vo main hi hu na har samay baarish mein bheeg jatha hu !!!!!!!

Pretha now gets the total picture that because she drenched in rain ,she got fever.When she looked at Akash and Raghuveer,they are just annoyed and irritated.

Raghuveer: Preetha how many times I have told you to not to go in rain? See,you are suffering with fever now.Its good that I came at night to see you.When I touched you,you are burning hot.I am worried and called Akash and Sarla.

Akash: Aur maa kah rahi ki thum pure tarah beegkar ghar aayi ho....Whats this Pretha? Since the last night mom and dad hasn't slept.They are just taking care of you.

Preetha felt guilty listening it.Her face saddens like a withered flower.

Pretha: Sorry Papa main agli baar nahi jaungi.

Seeing her face,Raghuveer and Akash feels sad and pity on her.

Raghuveer(comes near her and sits beside her,cupping her face one side): Aisa baath nahi beta,thumhara khyaal thumhe rakhna hoga.You are now a grown up girl preetha,you should learn to take care of yourself and others.

Sarla comes with a tray of soup and mild water bowl,listening his words she says

Sarla(while coming): haa aur nai tho kya? Shaadi ke baad bhi aisa karegi tho kya kehegi sasural haa??

Preetha(with a sad and irritated face): Kya maa? aap bhi!!! 

Raghuveer: Kya baath kar raha hai Sarla,mein use aisa jagah nai bhejungi jaha use apni ichaoon ko khona pade.(seeing preetha emotionally) main use aise ghar bhejungi jaha pura parivaar preetha ka khyaal rakhe aur ladka....... vo aisa hona chahiye ki Preetha ki acha samay, uski wajah se hona chahiye aur buri samay mein vo ,preetha  ke saath hona chahiye.

All of them just get a smile on their faces listening him.

Akash: Papa sab theek hai lekin iski shakal dekhkar hi vo bhaag jayegaa,phir kya karenge?

Pretha(narrows her eyes and says): phir kya,main aapke pass hi rahungi zindagi bhar,full happy!!!!

And hugs her dad 

Akash: No,No,No...... hum nai jhelenge thumhe zindagi bhar.Fikar mat karo behan ....main aisa dulha laungi ki vo thumhari til se nai dil se pyar kartha hai.

Sarla: Thats good

Akash:Aur nai tho kya, mauth ki saza se behthar hai kuch samay saza. 

All laughs at his words but all become emotional at the thought of her marriage.They don't show up.Preetha while laughing look at the clock it struck 9:30 and she was shocked. 

Preetha(shockingly): Oh no,9:30.Hospital jaana hai,bahot late hogayi,oh god!!!!

Akash: Kya aap plane mein jaayenge aur helicopter mangwa lu??

Preetha(in a irritating tone): Stop it akash

akash: mein nai thum stop it, see your state and speak up.I already informed your hospital that you are sick and need rest.You are on leave for 2 days or more.So chup chap rest karo yaha,thekey.

Preetha(sighing): Okay bhaiyya,jaisa aap kahe

akash: Ahahaha........Itna bhi meeta nahi chahiye behna.Mujhe office jana hai,so take rest ok.I kept your medicines beside you.Drink the soup and take care. 

Raghuveer: Preetha mujhe bhi jaana hai,If you need anything say to your mumma .Anything urgent call Akash, ok.You are working restlessly since few days so take complete rest you need it.

Preetha: Theekey papa,bye.

And they leave.Preetha drinks the soup,Sarla places the wet cloth on head,spends some time with her and she leaves.Preetha closes her eyes and thinks about her fathers words about the boy and thinks about karan. 

Preetha(in mind): papa theek keh raha hai,mujhe thoda rest chahiye aur space bhi.Jyada din hospital mein rehkar thoda ajeeb feel ho rahi hai.Come on preetha,don't think about anything and sleep.

In a short time,she sleeps.
