A Dream That I dream
A Dream That I dream
One Sunday morning over a boiling kettle
The sun just rose over my bumpy cottage
A Dream That I dream
A dress as white as a dove, embroidered with a million stars
A palace made out of gold bound to make any queen jealous
A Dream That I dream
To travel over many cities
To try new cuisines with my lover
A Dream That I dream
A million cameras flashing before my eyes
As I make my way down the red carpet
A Dream That I dream
Where these old meadows are no more
And asphalt replace the dying sunflowers
A Dream That I dream
But alas! The porridge is burning
I am distracted from my thoughts
My dreams must wait for another day.
