Teddy and Nicole chase after the cat. It seems as if it speeds up every time the pair does, so it keeps the same distance between them. After ten minutes of running, they stop in a clearing. The cat disappeared. Nicole stops at the edge of the clearing, leaning over and panting, but Teddy continues.

"Did we lose it?" Teddy is looking at two stones in the middle of the clearing when he answers.

"No. I think this is where they're always going." Nicole looks at him with a confused look, and joins him by the rocks.

One reads Remus Lupin, and the other reads Nymphadora Tonks. They had obviously been buried immediately after the Battle, because the tombstones were just heavy rocks. The rocks were semi-buried in the earth and the words were mostly faded.

Nicole sets her hand on Teddy's shoulder as he crouches, but he shakes it off.

Teddy conjures another Patronus, and it floats over the graves before disappearing. Nicole witnesses the moment, and tries to think of something to say, but quickly gives up. Teddy falls back into a more comfortable sitting position, and stares at the stones. His gaze never falters.

Nicole stands on the outskirts of the small clearing, waiting for some indication that Teddy was ready to leave. She realizes that would be a while, and sits beside him silently.

Neither speaks until dawn begins to show between the trees. Nicole sets her hand gently on his shoulder, and this time he makes no move to remove it. He hasn't made a move since sitting down.

Nicole stands up, never taking her hand off his shoulder. He soon stands, too. She grasps his hand, while pulling her wand from her pocket. She apparates them back to Teddy's room, and she guides them to his bed. He sits down, his eyes far away. She leaves the room as quiet as she can.
